1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteBar (LTB) - Reborn on: July 31, 2018, 01:09:11 AM
Why has Litebar been sitting on the same block all weekend?

Well dang... I guess my wallet jumped on another chain then because the block explorer and my wallet match now that I repaired it and it cleaned itself out of all those other transactions. The last time my wallet staked on the real chain was 2017-08-26 21:12:23 block 5593325 That really sucks...all that time running the wallet wasted...it's been on pretty much nonstop since then. I only shut down my "staking" server when required.

But ya, it wont let me atleast send the whole balance to myself. I also tried to send about a third of the balance to myself also. I will try smaller amounts in a min. Really what I want to do is separate the mined coins from the coins earned from stakes. I don't think the coin control can be set to find txs that way. I need to look again at it though.

edit: sent 6ish HBN just fine. It gave me the transaction was over the size limit msg though.

if you'r pretty much uncertain what's what, i suggest don't mess any further
and dumpwallet, then importwallet to a brand new wallet.dat,
after that use coin control to manually arrange things the way you like,
every goddamn block, takes time

Well I'm not certain about anything really. Jumping chain would explain it well I think. But I have only ever used the default wallet and only ever used the first address which is the only address. I used to mine HBN when it was at hash-to-coins.com. When it went to stake only I just let it ride. I'm like number 227 on the rich list WooHoo! lol I don't how I would identify between mined coins and stake earned coins in coin control though.

Good things are coming .. just witnessed a huge buy off 2 btc on Cryptopia.. Shocked some isnon the way so time to buy..

That money is for opening a hobo-fueled hedge fond in the lands of a Malaysia. It was an ordinance issued by a secret institution at which I am employed as an investigator of cases with "classified" marking on them. From the looks of it, this case falls into this very category encompassing very peculiar and sinister types of operations. That is why this case was dumped onto my desk, and I'm now on it.

hello, I have an issue.

I had like 40,000ish HBN. i was staking like crazy for a long time. I had an unexpected shutdown which rendered the blockchain corrupt so i used the bootstrap, got it back synced. The problem is only about half of the transactions were showing as legit so I checked wallet, it had a bunch of things so I repaired wallet. Now I only have 21000ish HBN. The rest was all NOW 'generated but not accepted" but gone after the repair. I went to send a tx to myself and I get an error that says "transaction creation failed" tried a few time to different address es of mine. Also, I have conflicted txs from where i sent txs to myself before I had to resync. What happened? What can I do about it?

Not sure what happened, perhaps minting on a wrong chain. First check with the block explorer, if your coins are on your adresses as expected. The remaining issues should be solvable.

I see on pools.arqma.com that "pool C" has over 50% of the network of miners, obviously because they aren't charging a fee to mine there. So when are the other pools going to lower their fees?

That certain pool name “Pool C” is made in purpouse. Our pools efficiency list is made that way to do not show fastest pool name.

About fee? We have no infuence to that pool and that certain pool serve more than ArQmA Coin and on all coins served has 0% fee.

Besides. Servers and pools aint cheap and pool owners are not volounteers to have 0% fee.

I know which pool it is and I'm not gonna tell. lol

Maybe the pool operator has their own hashpower there and entices miners to join with the 0% fee. That's what I would do.

can this coin still be mined with Claymore GPU miner?
yes you can look at https://pool.arqma.com/#/help/getting_started
there is port 9000 for claymore ssl

I am having issues. I had this working for about a week and yesterday it stopped working. I haven't changed any settings it just won't work anymore. I keep getting the msg that say to lower the (-h) value I had been running it set to 50 in the first place. The cards are stock AMD R290s, no overclocking or anything like that. edit: I made some changes like running in ssl on port 9000 and get the same issue no matter what I change the (-h) value to.

11  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Are the 12 worded seeds really secure from Brute force? on: June 08, 2018, 02:27:06 AM
no go. Even after I put that command in it still asks for which standard and wallet type etc. I have contacted Guarda to ask them what standard they use for the 12 word seed key that is generated before you can use their wallet. I tried the --big-typos 2 also and the cmd window would just close.

There seems to be a checksum checker for the seeds in btcrecover, maybe it could be modified to produce all the 12 word seed keys with correct checksums that would use the partial seed key inputted into the app

So ideally it would produce every possible 12 word seed key with a correct checksum only utilizing in my instance the 10 words I gave it to use.

12  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Are the 12 worded seeds really secure from Brute force? on: June 04, 2018, 10:05:19 PM
I have it running now but the only problem I see is that I need it for BCH, not BTC so I wonder if it will work. I tried to put in the new style BCH address but it gave an error. I found the "legacy" address for the BCH address so I used that and it ran. One thing I had to do was add 2 more words to my seed to make the program run. I guess it won't fill in the blanks. lol I'll report back when its finished.
You shouldn't need to add in 2 words... it should detect that your seed is short and add words as required. The only issue is that by default, I think seedrecover may only look for ONE completely incorrect word Undecided

Which wallet was your seed from? You might find that the "seedrecover" script will fail to find your correct seed, as it is setup for BTC and ETH... so the derivation path it defaults to is the BIP44 derivation path for BTC which is m/44'/0'/0'/0... unfortunately, you most likely need to use the derivation path: m/44'/145'/0'/0 to find your BCH address. Undecided

You can try running it using the --bip32-path parameter to force it to the BCH derivation like this:
Code:
./seedrecover.py --bip32-path "m/44'/145'/0'/0/"

If you find that it doesn't search for 2 incorrect words, you may or may not also need to add the following argument: --big-typos 2

It will likely generate MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of possible combinations if you use --big-typos 2... as I don't think you can specify where the missing words are. It'll test ALL combinations.

I have another possible solution. It's a custom python script that I hacked together that lets you specify the location of missing words like this:
Code:
python find_missing_seed_word.py sketch hockey elbow property symptom peanut genre bubble popular inherit x x
It'll try all the different combinations of valid words, replacing the x's, looking for valid seeds.

It isn't terribly difficult to use, but it doesn't automatically search the output for possible addresses. It just generates 100 addresses for each valid seed that it can find... and you can then search the files looking for a matching address.
When I get some free time I will try out those possible solutions. Thank you! The seed key is from Guarda Wallet for BCH it's a mobile phone Android app wallet.

Hey Spidersbox, I am having an issue where I can't send coins even to myself. I get a transaction rejected message that also says there are listed spent coins in my wallet.dat. I don't know what that means. I am going to run check then repair wallet, zap it and clean out the Bitbar file except for my wallet.dat and Bitbar.conf and then reload the wallet to let it download the blockchain again. I'm hoping the wallet freshened up with a fresh copy of the blockchain will fix this. What else could I try?

Also is there a way to limit the amount of coins the wallet is allowed to use to stake with besides not unlocking it to stake? I notice my wallet stakes everytime i try to send a transaction I think because I put my PW in to send a tx. It's freaking annoying.

Thanks

Well actually, what had happened was.. I somehow only copied 10 of the 12 words down to multiple back ups.. so now I am researching ways to brute force my key to a mobile wallet app.. and of course I don't speak/write code so I can't just produce a cracker. Any suggestions?
17  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Are the 12 worded seeds really secure from Brute force? on: March 18, 2018, 06:37:43 PM
What if you have 10 of the 12 words in their proper order so you just need the last 2 words in the correct order?

HI i want to swap my BTCD to KMD. Last chance is 8 January. I see 80% are swapped no.
What happens to unswapped BTCD? KMD remaining are being burned or whats the plan.

Whe will ICo Platform open again?
jan 15th is the last redeem date, ICO site should be back up by jan 8th
93% are already swapped

unswapped BTCD would remain as BTCD
all the swapped BTCD will be burned

Can you have a look at the BTCD chain, my wallet is stuck in staking for more than a week and want to exchange them for KMD by the 15th next month, if you have a look at the BTCD tread there are more people having problems moving BTCD, please advice @jl777B

to stop it from staking, encrypt it with a PW and then don't unlock the wallet for staking. Mine keep getting locked up in stake and the chain is running so slow. I don't understand why. But what I explained is what I did and now most of my coins are back in the balance and not stuck in stake.

Anyone know why the BTCD chain is running so slow?
