Hello All,
Just in time for BitCoin Black Friday, I am happy to release "Bitcoin Register" to the Android app store. Basically: Square, for Bitcoin.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitregisterWhy?
- This is simply the easiest way for any merchant to accept Bitcoin in seconds
Who is this for?
- This is for the shop owner who is a Bitcoin enthusiast, wants to accept Bitcoin, but needs an interface that is more tailored to a Point of Sale environment, that his employees can understand.
How do I use it?
- Simply enter the amount you would like to charge, or add common items to your items list
- You are then prompted to accept: Bitcoin, Cash or Credit Cards
- A Bitcoin QR code is generated and waits for payment
- You are prompted to send a receipt with all the transaction info by e-mail (optional)
How does it work?
- Simply import a Bitcoin address, and payments are made to you directly. If you do not have an address, you are re-directed to Coinbase (more services coming soon)
- Exchange rates are pulled from Blockchain.info
- Payment notifications are instant, and confirmations are updated live.
- Single use addresses will be added soon, but were excluded for trust reasons
Additional Features:
- Standard Cash register keypad
- List of common items
- Bitcoin address import, or generation from Coinbase
- Instant notification of Bitcoin payments, as well as confirmations
- Add discounts for Bitcoin Transactions (or fees for credit)
- Apply Sales Tax
- Over 10 currencies
- Accept Credit Cards or Cash in the event that a Bitcoin payment Fails (Credit cards processed through your Stripe account)
- Send Receipts through E-mail
- History of past transactions
Security & Trust
- Payments are directly to your Bitcoin address. We do not ask for secrets, we never touch your coins.
- We do not ask for any personal info, and store no info on you
- We do use bug-tracking and basic analytics, all anonymous.
- We are a Canadian Based Private Corporation, currently in the Invest Ottawa business incubator.
