1  Other / Off-topic / Special/unusual moments/people in crypto? on: August 25, 2021, 04:42:30 AM
What remarkable, unusual, funny, special moments or people has there been in crypto since Bitcoin was launched?

I am looking for more stories such as:
-Laszlo Hanyeckz paying 10k BTC for 2 pizzas.
-John McAfee saying he will eat his dick on national TV if BTC does not reach $1M by x.
-Beeple selling his 5000 days piece for $69M recently.
-Carlos Matos speaking at a Bitconnect conference.
-Satoshi Nakamoto posting his whitepaper on Bitcoin.

Can you think of other funny or memorable moments/persons in the crypto world?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Questions about liquidity pools on: May 24, 2021, 12:44:34 PM
I am trying to wrap my head around how my holdings in a liquidity pool are affected by different events. Say that I have 1ETH + 10 random tokens in a pool. How much would I have left (ETH + the random tokens) after withdrawing everything from the LP after the below events (excluding all fees)?

1. ETH goes up by 10% against the USD

2. ETH goes down by 10% against the USD

3. The random token goes up by 10% against ETH

4. The random token goes down by 10% against ETH

Thanks a bunch!
3  Economy / Auctions / Re: Jackpots.io on: November 03, 2020, 04:47:22 PM
There is quite a huge difference in "Jackpot" and "Jackpots". The use of these two domains is really different. Jackpots.io will work as some kind of affiliate site or listing different jackpots and should be priced accordingly as well. Jackpot.io is a completely different story as is it way more brandable than jackpots.io

I don't want to sound like a downer, but there is no way that you will get 5BTC for the domain. Good luck! If I am not mistaken, jackpots.io is a hand-reg from a few years ago? I have seen it for sale for around $1k.

Any plans to add exchanges such as HitBTC, KuCoin, Gate.io etc etc?

Their reputation is lost forever. Would not touch Savedroid, nor any of their employees with a 10ft pole.

How come you are able to accept Chinese/US investors? Is that really legal?

Yeah, many of them just shill 10+ coins per day with no stop losses or anything. Of course they will do a 2x at some point. It is usually when they take credit and say "we told you so".

Got recommended Premium Channels (which includes Asiah Whales VIP + many more paid channels) from a local crypto forum and I am trying it for one month now. So far so good. Seems to be legit. Here it is if anyone else is interested: http://telegra.ph/Premium-Channels-Telegram-Channel-02-01

I am getting dizzy and not focused, some groups are not proven to be profitable. Cool

That is why I would like to find the ones that are profitable.

The thing is that there are sooo many coins and tokens out there and I have no time to keep updated about them all. I want groups that does the rough work for me so that I can narrow it down to a few coins.

Found Ballina's channel on through Patreon.

Any other recommendations? Also, still have not found the Classical Gambit Channel and the Apex crypto channel. Anyone have links to them?

Hey, I can recommend the APEX crypto channel or the classical gambit channel but it is quite expensive.

What are the links to those? It is weird that you can not search for Telegram-channels somewhere online.

I would suggest https://t.me/asianwhales this free channel. They have their VIP channel with 1-time fee 1.5 ETH which is expensive for me at the moment, but it seems that they know what they do there

Seems to be 2.5ETH now.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Best paid Telegram group? on: September 21, 2017, 02:59:06 PM
I am looking for a good Telegram group that has a proven track record of accurate calls. Price does not matter if it is a good group. Not looking for one of these groups that says they are up XXX% in the past 2 days or that are run by some 18 year olds that shouts "Lambos to the moooooon", every minute. Only serious groups.

Any suggestions?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 21, 2017, 04:18:57 PM
Check out OMG (Omise Go). Lots of good indications that it will be one of the next big one.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: August 21, 2017, 04:05:24 PM
Buy BTC under $5k. Buy OMG under $8. Buy ETH.

ETH is one of the most under valued coins imo. All these new crypto apps are built on top of ETH.
