1  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: October 18, 2017, 01:14:15 PM
Exchange source BitcoinAverage not working since at least yesterday. Using Bitstamp for now. Do you see that too? Has BitcoinAverage disappeared or have they just changed their API?

For me, price in $/Euros/etc. has been totally unavailable since Sunday, and started going in/out ever since the BTC price spiked a few days back.

That's one of the few features I enjoyed ... now it's dead in the water.  What's keeping me using this wallet...

I went to the bitcoinaverage website and they're still pumping out real-time price tickers to the home page, as well as advertising their API etc.  (There is a pay wall for that -- did Mycelium forget to pay their monthly bill?)

Unlike you I've had no luck changing the provider, so it looks like I'm stuck for now

"Okay, so Antpool may not have the best Tx payouts, but at least they're *consistently mining blocks...*"

Today, Nothing... nada, no BTC blocks for going on 14-15 hours now, according to the dashboard (Block 482357).  Am I the only one seeing this?  (Sorry if this is a newbie thing to ask)

Was wondering if this is only temporary, and at some pt. we expect a bunch of blocks to show up in the list retroactively, or if someone's new mining collective just came online and grabbed 85-100% of the market share ;-), or if Antpool is just really sucking that badly today.

Onward & upward...

I see 13 blocks on my dashboard for Antpool for 08-28, although I'm not mining with them right now.  3 of them are empty though, and also all of the ones for today so far.

Hm -thanks : )  I just checked back now, and in the meantime, I can clearly see that 14 blocks have showed up "retroactively" (I understand it may not *literally* be 'retroactive'...), filling in the 15-hour gap quite nicely (and my heart's started beating again).  Not sure why it happened that way though; though I suppose in the long run, no harm no foul.  It did manage to delay payouts of those blocks by one whole day but oh well -

Also it seems that their hardware is better built. I'm very disappointed how quickly S9 controllers are dying Sad

...

...

Also pro tip for you S9 owners, buy lots and lots of spare controllers cause they will all kick the bucket eventually.

Ok, here's a dumb question: Where do you go to buy those spares? Is it generic hardware or something custom-built by Bitmain? (FWIW I didn't see a lot of spare parts being pushed on Bitmain's website...)

Thank you in advance

Payouts are flowing once again. Just a "heads up" notice.

Looks like 3 of the 4 pending "Paying" line items moved forward to "Paid" status just a few hours after my earlier post...  Now it's 'just' 1 day behind  Smiley

Payouts blocked for 4 days and counting... July 30th and forward.  Glad to hear it's not a problem specific to moi.

The most confusing part is, the "Paying" status next to each day's payment from July 30th onward... suggesting that some piece of software was actually *trying* to send a payment on the Bitcoin infrastructure, and failing/blocking.  Was beginning to suspect either the network as a whole, or else my wallet...
