1  Economy / Exchanges / Frozen account on Poloniex!? on: October 22, 2017, 03:28:48 PM
I mistakenly frozen my account on Poloniex when I got notifications about different IP adresses. Been trying to contact support about canceling the freezing of the account since September 4.
As I first thought that the cancelling had worked, I moved some coins in there and haven´t been able to access them ewer since!?
On my support page it just says "In process".
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum and Litecoin wallets on: August 24, 2017, 09:43:37 AM
Hello again and an another newbie question here..   Embarrassed

I heard that if you move your ethereum into your wallet before the entire blockchain is downloaded, that your money will be lost?

My Ethereum and Litecoin wallets seems to take forever to get done with the `node needs to sync` on Ethereum and `syncing with the network` on the Litecoin wallet.

Is this the downloading of the blockchain or is it safe to move my coins in the wallets?

Thank you!

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale Successfully Completed on: August 23, 2017, 05:03:17 PM
Does the fact that Civic uses Ethereum tokens mean that I can store it on a hardware wallet like Nano S Ledger?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Time sync on windows on: August 06, 2017, 04:46:18 PM
Hello!

I´m new to this and haven´t moved my Litecoins yet to the official Litecoin wallet. However the program is giving me a warning about not working correctly if time is not syncronized.
Anybody know if this is a standard warning message for everybody? Because I´ve done everything I can to fix it. Even the error adjustment thing where you switch it to automatic.
What can happen if time is not syncronized and I move my coins there?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cold storage on a USB stick? on: August 04, 2017, 11:45:03 AM
Hello!

I´m totally new to this and not a computer guy.  Wink
So I´m wondering about this cold storage that seems to be the only option. Can I store the wallet on a regular USB stick or some smaller hard drive?
Or does it have to be an offline computer or hardware wallet?
Was going to buy an hardware wallet until I realized that they only work for a few altcoins..
And the blockchain program needs top be on my online computer if I´ve got it right?
