Start with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and some other well known coin like TenX, Civic, BAT and Omisego. These coin have been in the market long enough and establish themselves as the top cryptocurrencies. In the long run, this portfolio provides low risk and potential high return.

Rocket Chat should be the standard for ICO from now. It's open source and there are many things you can do to increase the security of the community.

A lot of countries decided to regulate/ban ICOs, which directly affects Ethereum but not Bitcoin

Litecoin will at least climb back to where it was few weeks ago ($70-$80) in the next month. Price was declining from the China ban even though it doesn't directly affect Litecoin (Bitcoin has already recovered).

AIRDROP is a way for a project to give back to its community for completing certain task or to distribute their coin to a partner's project holders ( For example, Kyber distributes their coin to Indorse's token holders which are both based in Singapore)
