1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Technology should make things simple! on: March 24, 2018, 01:42:52 PM
I cannot understand why Bitcoin companies over complicate matters, when the technology should have been the easier

alternative to other methods of doing things. I did the latest Firmware upgrade for the Ledger Nano S today and it was a

absolute nightmare. Luckily for me, I have a vast IT knowledge and also very good troubleshooting skills, but the average

computer user would have thrown in the towel.  Angry

Why would someone go through all this stress to upgrade firmware manually, if they could simply use cash or credit cards?

Our alternative, should be the best solution and the easiest to use, not the other way around.  Angry

Good luck to the other Ledger Nano S owners, this is going to test your patience.  Roll Eyes

Fully agree with you, i also owner of Ledger Nano S and it's nightmare to manage it sometimes. I also don't understand why the price of it is so high, when it just a simple token similar to RSA tokens.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn how to invest BTC on: March 24, 2018, 01:40:40 PM
I will suggest you to start learning about BTC and altcoins from Wiki, to better understand the history. For trading or mining just search forum threads.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INCREASING AMOUNT OF ICO(S) on: October 19, 2017, 04:08:03 PM
It really is getting out of hand. It's a problem when new / inexperienced people looking to enter crypto sees this ICO as their first taste of crypto and end up getting burned. The fact that ICOs use facebook / instagram to promote to unsuspecting people... really worrying

The problem is not promotion of ICOs in social medias, the problem is that people can’t or don’t what to read all documents and check ICOs on their validity. I personally suggest to do several steps before given investing money: 1) read docs and look at the content and quality, 2) meet team members or try to chat with them, 3) make a sanity check of ideas validity, 4) google more about team, 5) try to make personal meeting or visit the team.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin savings - telegram bot that show your savings in cryptocurrencies on: October 17, 2017, 08:41:20 AM
Are the prices updated in real time or do you cache them?

Also interesting, is it possible to download daily prices for different currencies in Excel? Thanks.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELI5: I get Bitcoin, but how does Ethereum work? on: October 17, 2017, 08:39:24 AM
Ethereum is planning to start proof of stake concept at the end of this year / early next year. None can forecast how it will influence the currency. There is a high probability that current Ethereum miners will not be ready to shut down their existing mining capacities. This will result in new fork, which we saw in bitcoin during this year. Undecided
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 03, 2017, 08:28:11 AM

Fully agree with you. But i believe that there are a huge investments into btc infra now, which will allow to change the situation in several years.

8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Its time to buy bitcoins? on: September 24, 2017, 10:25:58 PM
Sure, that is a good time to buy BTC if you plays in long-term. BTC should be valued much higher than $10k in next year
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banksters officially declare war on Bitcoin! on: September 20, 2017, 12:20:15 AM
I think that JP Morgan guys believe in oil and real estate, cause they made a lot of money from it. They are reluctant to new reality and they will get away like dinosaurs in years.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 18, 2017, 10:38:39 PM
I do believe that there will be a great change once bitcoin will run without those Chinese investors due to their volume of holdings of bitcoin which is said millions of bitcoins, but I guess due to its being decentralized bitcoin will not be control and cannot be manage by who ever it is even if Chinese government ban it still they cannot recognized whether the holder of bitcoin is Chinese or not, so I guess we do not need to worry.
That is true. They cannot control bitcoin flows and ownership due to anonymity.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 18, 2017, 04:42:27 PM
China will come back around when they see the money they are missing out on.
Fully agree, but i think there should be actions from other contries first.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: September 17, 2017, 10:11:23 AM
Definitely it is. It is the most safe and sound currency every created and used. Time will guarantee that.

Exactly, it is 100% sound money because it can be easily converted to other currencies, cryptocurrencies and commodities without any preconditions. Time indeed will tell the story to the world.

Sure, but what about other currencies like eth, zcash and new one coming up everyday?
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an crypto exchange. on: September 15, 2017, 11:22:43 AM

14  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: September 14, 2017, 02:09:41 PM
It's normal dude Smiley) The market go up and down everyminute, everysecond Smiley) Sell in high and buy in low is the way trader make profit Smiley) Can you imagine how will trader do if the market only go up all the time?

Now it is still low volatility, i would expect even higher rations of ups and downs on negative/positive news flows, cause there is no institutional investors and only gregarious behavior
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why compare BTC to USD? on: September 14, 2017, 11:15:50 AM
BTC do the same thing as USD - the way to pay for gooods. As a usd it does have intrinsic value and created by different algoritm.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 14, 2017, 07:30:38 AM
for now bitcoin will fall .. but it will not be up to 2000 $
and after the panic from the china news ,, bitcoin will rise again
stay afloat, don't sell now
this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin

It can be easy $2k and even low, if trade volume will move to other currencies or out of crypto at all.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: September 11, 2017, 08:12:33 AM
Maybe, yes, because bitcoin is already famous to people but it just that some are not interested about it yet because they do not understand it. But sooner or later, I believe that when people understand the importance of bitcoin, they will also want to have it and this will be the reason that bitcoin will stay after 100 years.
I do not believe in that. Bitcoin volume is restricted, transactions are slow, new cryptos are comming. Therefore, smth more modern than btc should come up to the market.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: September 09, 2017, 06:48:37 PM
My first experience with bitcoin was very strange. I tried to buy several coins, but nither coinbase, no kraken helped me. They can't aquire my credit card. Undecided
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $5,000, So sad! on: September 04, 2017, 08:38:10 AM
Don't be sad, don't panic, it's gonna be ok.. anyway, bitcoin prices are still at a high price i guess. Calm down, i think this is just a momentary / temporary drop, maybe the bitcoin price will lead to high again. Well we can only hope that bitcoin price never drop to $4000 again, hope so.

What are the growht points for bitcoin till the end of the year?
20  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I told my brothers and cousins about signature campaigns. on: September 03, 2017, 10:26:38 PM
I guess they aren't making a lot of money since you've recently told them about it. They've only started leveling up their accounts and they're already paying you? That's a ripoff! Be a good brother and tell them to ask parents for a computer loan or at least let them use your computer for free when you're not at home. I hope next time you need to borrow something from your siblings they'll ask for cash Smiley
yes that is right that it will take a lot of time to make some bitcoin from signature campaign, because their rank will be newbie and i do not think there  are some good campaign who are paying to newbie for wearing their signature campaign.

May be for the first month, but then they can get enough rank to get smth
