Is the conversion rate 1:1?   10,000 v1 yields 10,000 v2?

Is anyone else having trouble seeing their worker's productivity on gravio.net?

I have 3 workers, checked the coding, but nothing in workers online or hashrate.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: cpuminer-opt v3.8.3.3, open source optimized multi-algo CPU miner on: March 09, 2018, 08:59:43 PM
Try them and see? Anything unsupported won't run and you could do a quick benchmark on the rest.

I tried each of the programs and none crashed - which is good. Next question is how to do a benchmark.

I hope I'm not repeating, but I'm not sure which miner to run. My CPU supports these instruction sets:

MMX(+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, SSE4A, x86-64, AMD-V, AES, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, SHA

Running on a Threadripper 1900X
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What would you mine with CPU only and free electricity? on: March 09, 2018, 04:41:47 AM
Folks, piggybacking on this thread. I just bought a new computer with mining proceeds. It's not a mining rig, but it is pretty powerful. CPU - AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X, 16GB DDR4-3000 and a 1060 with 6Gb. With this in mind, what currency(s) do you recommend me to mine?

Thanks,
Frank

@JaredKaragen,

It was my understanding that the -t parameter was "number of threads". Is this miner different? Not the capital -T parameter.

Like dis?

cpuminer.exe -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://tribus.mine.zpool.ca:8533 -u DG1FxNwEf9nczP9i... -p c=DNR,tribus -t4

@CrackFoo, I'm using the following...

cpuminer.exe -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://tribus.mine.zpool.ca:8533 -u DG1FxNwEf9nczP9i... -p c=DNR -t4

is the algo switch and the tribus url both needed?

Thanks,
Frank

Folks, CPUMINER will not work on my PC. Any suggestions as to an alternate CPU miner?

Thanks.

Since the ease of mining and profitability change so often, has anyone established a website or blog of "what's good today"?
