Deeponion is pretty cheap right now and with less volume, we will know after all airdrop if it will rise. Based on my opinion, there is a chance that all the airdrop has been given, this will break again it's all time high, with the number of developments there is no reason why this would not succeed.
Surely the only way is up from here. Don't think there will be much of a drop tomorrow with so much many awesome features being added.

I am getting a bit nervous to be honest, despite me constantly reassuring my partner to hold tight for the longer term. Not going to cash in though.....yet, anyway

I don't think so. I believe in the future and concept of Bitcoin so holding on to it in the hope that one day I can use it widely and as easily as any other currency. If times are hard though, I will sell

I fully intend to pay taxes on crypto when I sell it. I suppose it depends where you live but in my country you would get in quite a bit of trouble if you did not declare and pay tax on capital gains.

Guys, I really wonder who, in normal mind, can sell onion for 2.4$ price, when just 2 months ago it was 20$?! Just hold, wait few weeks or months, wait for airdrop to be finished and all development is done, the price will bounce back. Selling now only means you lost 10 x gains.
I think the people with big bag of deep onions can afford sold a part of their bag, especially when onions came for free by airdrop. I think that even the biggest Onion whales are going to be reluctant to push the price down any further. New features and exchange listings are going to make the price rise again soon.

I think it could definitely be covered in economics lesson. I think having discussions around anything "topical" would benefit students in their form groups.

Price has got pretty low after the last few weeks. I'd be surprised if we see another leg down after the next airdrop. Surely people now be more inclined to hold their weekly bonus.

Most of the TV coverage here is poor to say the least. Even when Bitcoin was at it's peak, Newsnight reporters couldn't even get their head around it to interview people coherently on it. It's just "news" to them, a "filler". Reporters make out it's some weirdo nonsence but they just don't understand it. And they don't really want to give it any weight as, like has been said before, the powers that be need to put a negative/loonie slant on it.

That's positive news coverage. Didn't see what the coin was though. Still, any positive news is good for crypto in general.

It seems like it's returned to where it should be. Much more stable now which is as it should be for it to be seen as the main sound and viable cryptocurrency. Pumps and roller-coaster prices are far too stressful too!

That's good news. I understand that folk can trade but no longer anonymously...great it's not a total ban.

It seems human nature to keep torturing ourselves with "what-ifs"! I too can tell a many woeful story of how I sold out early with several altcoins and Bitcoin but at least I know about it and the revolution which is happening.

I wonder how long it's going to be before this new thread overtakes the old one?

I too have had episodes of worry recently...I totally believe in the future of Bitcoin in particular, but had to rationalize how selling a small amount could make a difference to my life at the moment. The media hype and relish when the prices start falling has to be seen for what it is, like when they cover anything else! Hold tight if you can afford to do that and you still trust in Bitcoin's potential. As said on here time and again; if you read the philosophy behind the technology then your outlook will be different to those recent folk jumping on board for a quick profit. If you are really worried then maybe it is better to settle and get out rather than being unable to cope with any losses. Crypto is not worth giving yourself a hear attack over, after all

I have read on the Deep Onion forum that we need to change our signatures. Does anyone know if this is for the airdrop tomorrow or for next weeks airdrop?
Change it immediately bro, not sure if you will be skipped this week. It's vital you update now, you might just slide in. Gotta say I panicked when I read that. But seems my sig is already correct. The one generated for my ID is exactly the same as the one I already have.

No one thing can eliminate unemployment from the world, I don't think. Cryptocurrency can certainly help those from developing countries, but the people/miners will need to be smart, tech-savvy and have access to computer and internet. As with any situation, if you're driven to succeed and be self reliant, you will be. But then, those people will almost certainly have other jobs/ways of earning income if they can get it.

I just zoom out of the graph to view over 1-3 years - that gives you a clearer reflection on Bitcoins course.

Poor Nepalese, that is a real blow. Completely agree, no need to imprison the Exchange Opps. Developing countries need to be able to be on board with crypto otherwise it's just the same old story...

It will be a truly sad day if it does happen. But a quick glance at the history XRP/BTC chart on coinmarketcap gives a pretty big clue as to what is going to happen pretty soon.
