1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The current increase in price of bitcoin and it advantage on: August 08, 2017, 06:25:39 PM
With the recent rise in the price of bitcoin to us dollars to as high as $3305 as at yesterday, the best period to trade your bitcoin is now.

This is a welcome discussion point.  I was about to post a similair post. The cryptospace definitely feels a bit inflated. However we also said that about the S&P 500 40 years ago Do you know this interesting site? https://www.coincheckup.com Every single coin can be analysed here based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and much more.  For example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis To check  Bitcoin Indepth analysis
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: August 08, 2017, 06:18:08 PM
http://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

Have you heard of the story of a 12 year old kid who wagered with his mom that if he will be a millionaire at age 18 he will not go to college. To his mothers surprise he is now a millionaire and never went to college. His secret he bought bitcoin at 12$ with a 1000 $ gift from his grandmother.

If we also dream of getting rich in the future it is now time to invest in bitcoins. Many said that we will be experiencing bubbles more often, that is true but we have survived it and still bitcoin keeps moving on.

If we want to get rich invest in bitcoins today. The price of bitcoin today is at 2600$ and moving up but imagine its value 5 to 10 years from now.

Fine thread. I was about to start a similair discussion. In my opinion blockchain is here to stay. A proper investment for the long term. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results. Does anyone know about:  https://www.coincheckup.com I'm using this site that gives in depth reports on every tradable cryto in the market. 3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you buy Bitcoins if you could choose? on: August 08, 2017, 06:09:00 PM
In some countries there are Bitcoin machines where you can exchanghe Cash and Bitcoin. Would you use this machine or rather buy your Bitcoins in the Internet?  Roll Eyes

Interesting post. Same mindset here. I strongly advice people to only buy in to cryptos that have a solid background: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background. It's a waiste of money.  I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really enthusiastic about this site, they let you analyze every single coin out there. Check for example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis To see the:  Bitcoin Analysis.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret? on: August 08, 2017, 05:49:04 PM
Well you do not have to cry about it anymore. You now have another opportunity to buy at very low prices with the new Bitcoin called Bcash! The price is slightly below $200 now but it will soon reach the 2009/2010 price levels soon.

But on a more serious note. Does anyone here think BitcoinCash will survive? I have not dumped mine yet.

Fine thread. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Buy low, sell high, it seems so simple but most investors still don't seem to get it :-) An interesting website I found:  https://www.coincheckup.com The site is my go to place for  crypto investment analaysis and indepth coin research.  See:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Investment research.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What people are saying about the surge in bitcoin price on: August 08, 2017, 03:47:14 PM

From CNBC:  The digital currency has now more than tripled in value for the year, and gained about 15 percent in the first few days of August. Bitcoin has broken free of the trading range it’s held ever since reaching its prior record of $3,025 in mid-June.

Ari Paul, CIO of BlockTower Capital, attributed the gains to a relief rally after a “relatively uneventful” split, as well as new investors buying bitcoin.

“With SegWit activation and the hard fork in the rear view mirror, bitcoin buyers see a smooth road ahead for the next two months,” he told CNBC in an email, referring to a more popular upgrade proposal called Segregated Witness.

From Fortune: The creation of Bitcoin Cash was an orchestrated scheme, rushed to the point of engendering significant safety risks. Digital currencies just don’t spontaneously appear out of nowhere. The Bitcoin Cash fork was created by a developer that wanted to increase block sizes, with the hypothetical result being more transactions being processed on the blockchain.

From Bitcoin Magazine: Remember that time I said BTC-USD likely won’t see a new all time high (ATH) any time soon? Looks like I was wrong. Shortly after posting my previous BTC-USD analysis, in a matter of one hour, the price of BTC-USD not only broke its record high, but it surpassed it by $200 after ultimately settling in the $3200s. As of this morning, BTC-USD pushed another ATH of $3440 on Bitfinex marking a $600+ in less than a week. Let’s take a look at what these moves can possibly mean for BTC-USD and if these moves are sustainable.

From CoinTelegraph: Consumers are losing trust in major banks and financial service providers. Many institutional investors, traders and most millennials are moving toward Bitcoin and fintech due to the fraudulent activities and inefficiencies of existing banks.

From BusinessInsider: According to analysis by Dennis Porto, a bitcoin investor and Harvard academic, bitcoin’s price could hit $100,000 per coin if it continues to follow one of tech’s “golden rules” — Moore’s law. “Moore’s law specifically applied to the number of transistors on a circuit but can be applied to any digital technology,” Porto wrote in an email to Business Insider. “Any technology that is growing exponentially (i.e., ‘following Moore’s law’) has a doubling time.”  By February 2021, Porto believes, it could be worth over $100,000.

From CoinTelegraph: Rumors are swirling about a trader with nearly unlimited funds who is manipulating the Bitcoin markets. This trader, nicknamed “Spoofy,” received his nom de guerre because of his efforts to “spoof” the market, primarily on Bitfinex.

From BusinessInsider:  What explains this? Nautilus doesn’t offer a reason, but it does note that it could just be that bitcoin is a “barometer for animal spirits in the markets.”

In other words, when traders are going nuts about a highly-speculative investment like bitcoin, that same risk-loving attitude might turn up among the folks who trade stocks. What we can’t know from this is whether one affects the other, or if there’s something else driving strong demand for both.

From Fortune: Bitcoin will almost certainly remain a highly volatile asset, but its latest high reflects a major positive development. After years of heated debate over how to increase the Bitcoin network’s transaction capacity, major players have finally agreed on a compromise solution known as Segwit2x. That accomplishment is reassuring for those who may have begun to doubt the effectiveness of Bitcoin’s leaderless governance model.

From CNBC:  Cryptocurrency skeptics warn of another dot-com bubble, but remember: That’s where Amazon and Google started

Great discussion point. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. The fluctuating market will result in the greatest price swings any market has ever seen.  I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com The site is my go to place for  crypto investment analaysis and indepth coin research.  For example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Investment research.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest your 401k or IRA into Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2017, 03:26:48 PM
Gold has traditionally been known as a solid alternative to Fiat currency as a store of value for retirement income. After all, gold can't really be hurt by deflation. There are Roth IRAs and there are also IRAs based on the market indices.

The question is, since Bitcoin has matured to the point where it is generally seen as a safe investment, would you be willing to invest your 401k into BTC? (if you don't have one, let's assume you did)

There are a number of companies coming up that are providing not just Bitcoin IRA but also all forms of Cryptocurrencies within an Individual Retirement Account. Seeing as how cryptocurrency is technologically superior to paper money it makes sense as to why one would invest in it for the future. These companies aren't being created for no reason. It may be slightly risky to invest ones entire retirement savings, but it can also bring in beautiful returns while diversifying at the same time.

Thoughts?

Good discussion point. Same thoughts here. Buy and hold for the upcoming 2 to 5 years and the market will find it's way.  We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results (even though they don't deliver any guarantee for the future). 7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 08, 2017, 03:17:35 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes

Thanks for starting this thread. I fully understand what you're talking about. How much do we actually know about a coin. It's surprising to me people invest in cryptos that they know nothing about.  An interesting website I found:  https://www.coincheckup.com I don't know any other site that gives such good inisghts in the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model, etc. Check for example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis To check  Bitcoin Investment and research analysis.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2017, 03:07:07 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?

Great thread. Same mindset here. Many people say the prices of cryptos are high but  we also thought that about Amazon, Apple and Facebok last year.  Do you know this interesting site? https://www.coincheckup.com I'm using this site that gives in depth reports on every tradable cryto in the market. Check for example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis To check  Ripple Investment research.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DOWN OR HIGH ????? on: August 08, 2017, 10:02:22 AM
Good morning, I was thinking of asking a little question, I'm new to all of this BITCOIN and I wanted to ask if any of you can answer a question? I missed the opportunity to buy BITCOIN on lower price , does anyone know if it's going to go down or is going much higher?             Thank you !

Great discussion point. I was about to post a similair thread. Though prices might seam inflated for now I don't think they will look like this 2, 3 years from now.  I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really enthusiastic about this site, they let you analyze every single coin out there. Go to:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Analysis
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just going to $100,000 now? on: August 08, 2017, 09:52:39 AM
Ok last night I suddenly felt that BTC's road to $100k is imminent

Sounds crazy? Yes maybe, but it really is not

BTC at $100k is the right value

And we r going to see it go there now.   Shocked

You'll see my friends

Interesting discussion. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. I do believe most coins are currently overrated. But the future lies in blockchain.  Personally I always use:  https://www.coincheckup.com This site is really helpful in my coin research. I don't know any other sites with so much indepth analysis.  Check for example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Investment and research analysis.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 07, 2017, 05:31:48 AM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.

Fine thread. I was about to post a similair post. The decision to buy a coin should be based on real analysis of the coin. I found that people keep buying coins without have any knowledge of them. This is considered high risk.  Does anyone know about:  https://www.coincheckup.com I don't know any other site that gives such good inisghts in the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model, etc. Check for example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis To watch Bitcoin Research report.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 07, 2017, 03:56:11 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

Very good disucssion. I was about to start a similair discussion. Some people say it's a high risk market but if you're willing to hold your coins with a 2 to 5 year vision I bet the risk might not seem that high by then :-).  I really advice people to take a look at:  https://www.coincheckup.com They seem to give this complete indepth analysis of all cryptocoins.  On:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis To see the:  Bitcoin Analysis
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 07, 2017, 03:49:01 AM
Darn it I missed the dip of Ripple and now it's too late to buy since it's now going up  Cry

Enjoyable post Same thoughts here. Sell the coins that you know nothing about. Do proper research on any coin you buy. If the market falls at least you can hold your coins knowing they have a long term future.  Does anyone know about:  https://www.coincheckup.com I'm using this site that gives in depth reports on every tradable cryto in the market. Go to:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis For the Ripple Report
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 07, 2017, 03:42:57 AM
Soooo,
If investing XRP is like pissing in the ocean, then exactly how do we go about putting the money into actual Ripple, before Ripple blows up and goes international? I don't know exactly what or why that exact question regarding investing in Ripple & XRP were possibly 2 separate investments. Ripple being the investment which goes to the moon, & all the investors get rich off of, and XRP being the investment we just get to watch? XRP should be xrp, or it's the digital form of Silver, you want to buy a ton of silver because all the signals show that the price for Silver is boiling over and about to blow wide open yesterday. But, like always has and always will, silver stays right there and you watch it do nothing......

Thanks for starting this thread. I was about to start a similair discussion. The crypto space brings the biggest group of uneducated investors with it. This group will only grow.  I was researching a way to do better investment analysis on the current cryptos. I found this amazing platform: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really enthusiastic about this site, they let you analyze every single coin out there. Check: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis For the Ripple Investment and research analysis.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 07, 2017, 03:27:41 AM
iam not understand after xrp price incraese very high until reach over 12k satoshi
this now exp price down until reduce over 50%, thiw now xrp price only 6k satoshi

Thanks for starting this thread. Really appreciate you bring this to our attention. The blockchain is here to stay. No matter what any crypto will do in the upcoming years. I think that's a conclusion we can make by now.  This is quite an interesting website I found:  https://www.coincheckup.com They seem to give this complete indepth analysis of all cryptocoins. Sorted by team, product, company, advisors, previous investors, etc.  For example:  https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis To check  Ripple Investment analysis.
