2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Many got REKT :( on: May 20, 2021, 01:26:58 AM
Who did an exit strategy before the worst dip?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question no one ever asked on: May 19, 2021, 12:59:47 AM
Honestly I haven't seen anyone asking this type of question on here before so I think maybe I should? Can crypto gets to a stage that bear market will be eradicated? That we won't have to wait 4 years for another bull season to come?
The fear of getting rekt will always drive crypto winter (bear market). For this reason it's impossible to eliminate bear market. Also the cycle of bear and bull has been in the markets for hundreds of years. Old and the new markets like cryptocurrency market are no exceptions.

Anyone?

It seems like your friend got trapped by phishing or his wallet already hijacked by the scammer. That means the wallet that you have mentioned above is scammer's wallet.
You should ask your friend whether he was dealing with suspicious link, website or something else. i thought that someone knows his privatekey or a key to enter into his wallet.
The scammers were sending all of his money.

that's what I asked her, it seems she got some link and somehow gave them access to the wallet... I'm not sure what to tell her
Tell her the truth that her money is gone, and it's not possible to recover it. Advise to her to be careful next time and if possible use hardware wallet.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 09, 2021, 08:26:35 AM
alot of people really want to hold but the daily needs of life make them sell off at little profit and solve their needs which is really good. but later they notice the coin they sold cheap is worth enough to liberate them. this kind of occurences are painful but its really not his fault. this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.
Holding is for investor and I don't 100% agree that holding is for the rich. I also hold before especially during my time in stock market and I am not rich. But I realize investing is not for me.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: May 09, 2021, 08:16:23 AM
Exactly. The ability to control emotion is one of the distinguishing quality or characteristic for an above average trader. This ability is tested during difficult times like cutting loses. Our emotion may interfere urge us to hodl but our trading system telling us to cut loses.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: May 09, 2021, 08:04:07 AM
I think it's a bad idea to use trading signal and bots because it might hindered the learning process of a beginner. Maybe as a reference trading signal can be use. Remember that a trader should develop his/her own system that consistently made him/her money.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: i lost my passphrase for my trezor wallet, how can i get it back ? on: May 07, 2021, 06:44:23 AM
hi guys

on my trezor i have stored my BTC for years now, I STILL HAVE ACCESS TO MY BTC AND MY TREZOR WALLET THANK GOD, but i wrote the 23 word (i think) passphrase on a paper and stored that paper in a safe place, but recently i F moved to a different country, i took those documents with me but i think i lost them !

am worried they might fall to the wrong hands ! so i need to change the passphrases which i no longer remember, how to do that ??...

this is what it looks like from inside my wallet:
http://grabilla.com/0b506-13779c80-2355-4b01-aca5-aa1391cb6b14.png

thanks,
If I were you I will buy another trezor hardware wallet (because I don't want to temporarily transfer my funds in hot wallets for safety reason). Set-up or generate the new seed phrase in the new trezor wallet. Then transfer all btc and any other coins.
After that restore the new seed phrase in the old trezor wallet. Now you have a back-up hardware wallet incase one is destroyed or lost.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: May 06, 2021, 06:20:52 AM
I met someone who spoke bitterly against cryptotrading, he spoke of how he had a fortune in his trading account that disappeared completely in one night, he spoke of how he fell into depression and sickness soon followed because of overthinking of how to pick up and get back up on his feet financially. Now he is a strong advocate against anything trading crypto, how sad and dissapointing.

I didn't want to go through the rigor of trying to preach the message of crypto and share my testimonials from my little successful trades because our meeting was short lived as we were in transit, but the big question that i kept asking myself afterwards was -

"How many persons loose in a trade, and then go back to find out why they lost, and the mistakes they made?"

(I am bringing this topic here to point out amd encourage everyone that needs encouragement, that it is always best to find out the reason behind every loss we make in trading. It might not be easy, but try not to fall into depression suddenly, go back and find out the excesses and mistakes in your analysis in preparation for the BIG WIN, it is not easy, but you can do it)
I did not use leverage in my trading so I could not feel what he experienced. But I did have a losing trades but I did not ran or stop trading cryptocurrency. Instead it encouraged me to study more to improve my trading system.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: May 05, 2021, 01:26:49 AM
what was your worst mistake ( in the very beginning, 1st year).
The worst mistake I made was holding some coins that become shitcoins. Especially my earning in bounties few years ago, it had some value before but now it's equivalent to nothing.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Urge or Trading Surge on: May 05, 2021, 01:09:56 AM
So I am in a situation where I have found a potential project I can invest in for the long term and gain huge profits.
That is a good idea.

At the same time the current market seems the correction is over and another bull run might start.
Many cryptocurrencies are still in the bullrun. (chuckle)

I am having an urge to invest all that I can in the potential project I like but it is also a good time to diversify the portfolio and trade some nice coins to gain short term profits.
What would you guys do if you were in such a situation ?
I think diversifying your portfolio is the best thing to do. For me it's too risky to put all your capital in one emerging project or something similar. Invest some in the existing  coin with real use cases.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You could die from trading. on: May 05, 2021, 12:59:25 AM
Always try to give yourself enough time to rest, exercise and maintain a healthy diet as well a social life. All this activities help reduce stress both mentally and physically.
Exactly. We should care for our health, physical, mental and perhaps spiritual. Thus always make time to examine your self. Because without proper health will only affect our trading decision or life direction/purpose.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: help on buy rise or buy fall on: May 04, 2021, 12:45:40 AM
Can any one help and tell me what is going when you can buy rise or fall on BTC and where i can do this? You can set a time limit as well.
Your sentence is unclear. Are you talking about future trading or spot trading? You can do it in Binance exchange. But if you are a beginner, I will advice you to do practice first. Go to google, search a website that do cryptocurrency trading simulation. Make a demo account and start to practice trading.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: May 04, 2021, 12:19:50 AM
Trading cryptocurrency for a living is currently not for you. First you need to find a job to have a fixed income. Second develop your trading skills or system. Until you are very confident to do trading for a living.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: May 04, 2021, 12:05:06 AM
Got in a discussion with a friend that recently started learning Technical Analysis and then he said he trades without using stop Loss. I told him no good trader trades without stop Loss. I tried to explain to him about the volatility and how trades can go against you especially as a new newbie and you can lose heavily. He seems adamant and I decided to leave him maybe he will learn from his own mistake if it happens. It seems there are also many traders that trade without stop Loss and I wonder how they do it conveniently.

Please share your views on how important stop Loss is and how convenient it can be to trade without stop Loss.
Stop loss is the key to maximize profit or protect your capital. Because we don't know when is the peak of a bullrun. Your friend studying 'technical analysis' without using stop loss is useless. Waiting for market to recover after a drop is a big mistake for an investor or trader. I have experienced it before, I did not use stop loss and waiting for the market to recover is very painful.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas fee issue on: May 02, 2021, 02:14:56 PM
Hi, I'm totally new in crypto. I just purchased $60 USDT (Erc-20) in my Coinbase wallet. I wish to trade or swap it. But, when I am trying to do it that's the time it shows that "I don't have enough Ethereum for Gas fee". Please help me and let me know is there any option to do it without Gas fee?
I think you should buy eth, enough for you to send your tokens. Don't try to buy too little eth but just enough eth, like the recommend gas fee by your wallet. Else you will experience what I have experience yesterday. I tried to send my tokens to Kucoin exchange. The recommended fee was 6$ in eth but I set it to 3.5$ in eth, the transaction failed and I lost 3.5$ in eth. Few years ago it's not like this.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH versus BNB updated poll 2021 on: May 02, 2021, 01:59:25 PM
With everything that has happened, I am interested to see if sentiment has changed over the poll from last year.
Results of that poll show 296 ETH versus 52 BNB.
If you like one of the others instead, let us know which one.
My vote goes to Binance coin. They have almost the same capabilities. If you ask Why I choose BNB. It's because I considered the total supply of each coin. There's no total supply for ETH while BNB have a limit and did coin burning, meaning the total supply of BNB is decreasing each quarter of the year.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: May 02, 2021, 01:49:02 PM
Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?
I think they need time and more persuasion from you. Maybe you should try another approach to them. Like you start investing your own money like 20 dollar for starter. Show them your binance account how it increase and how strong are your recommended coins like BNB amd ETH.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: May 01, 2021, 03:54:32 PM
Both were great and could be trusted. But I preferred to invest more in Binance coin than Ethereum. I believed that in the long run BNB will give me best ROI than ETH because BNB has total supply limit and do coin burning every quarter of the year while ETH did not have total supply limit.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 01, 2021, 03:46:05 PM
In my own opinion to look for the next doge is very difficult. You need someone influential rich people like Elon Musk or Bill Gates to buy and promote the coin to pump it.
