Hi,

as for your questions:
cgminer version: 3.2.0 (but I also tried different versions)
catalyst version: 13.4-3 (but I also tried downgrading)
Graphic card: Radeon HD 6770

as for Nacsiar post - I also tried it but it haven't solved the problem Sad

Hi,

running cgminer on Radeon graphic card keeps causing error mentioned in the topic. I tried different versions of cgminer and catalyst driver. Always either graphic card is not visible or cgminer is able to generate only HW errors. I checked the card and it seems to be fine. Any idea how to solve that problem?
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Radeon + cgminer + Arch Linux = problem on: May 02, 2013, 11:33:45 AM
Hi,

some time ago I've installed in my PC witch Arch Linux a wonderful, shining Radeon graphic card. At that time I realised that catalyst and other packages concerning it were removed from the repository. After some battle I found (thanks everyone for ArchWiki Smiley ) that there is need to downgrade xorg-server. I've downgraded it to version 1.13. After installing catalyst (which unfortunately took me some longer time) everything seemed to work fine. I haven’t found anything suspicious in logs, image is fine and at high resolution. Unfortunately some problems appeared.

Running the 3D test mentioned in aticonfig help:
Code:
atiode -P60 -H  localhost:0; echo $?
returned value 2:
Code:
2: Test failed because of rendering errors.

I also lunched the cgminer. It found the GPU but it keeps shouting on me:
Quote
invalid nonce - HW error
. When installed cgminer mentions in optional dependencies the opencl-catalyst package. However there is no such package on any repository I had checked.
Does any of you have it saved for a rainy day and will be willing to share it?
Is there any possibility that lack of this package is causing cgminer to produce this error?
Is there any simple way to solve it or will I have to wait "a century or two" for AMD to fix it?
