Are lamport signatures current being used or is that something planned for the future? When I read the whitepaper it makes it seem that it's future tech but the latest Twitter gif makes it seem like it is currently in use.
I know everyone recommends the offsite VPS solution for setting up the MN, but I wonder if we can set it up at home using Windows with port forwarding and using two wallets (controller and MN). Like is shown here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1964765.20.
Desp thank you for letting us know about the airdrops. I've been on the fence about continuing mining as the pool issues get sorted out but this keeps us motivated to press on I miss the good old days of seeing a steady steam of 10 xun click over every 1.5 hours.
I think the dev have great, bold ideas. No reason to throw FUD at them. I hope the dev don't get discouraged by a few FUD throwers. Keep up the good work. We look forward to your success.
Mining now. Great website and ideas for the coin. Quick question, with the electrum wallet, I will sometimes see that all of the account balances suddenly disappear. If I reload, they will come back. Wanted to make sure you knew about it.
Check out the link in my previous posting. It's just a question on whether we will have to switch mining software. If it's a simple newbie question, then it seems easier to just answer it than make a posting about how annoyed you are about the question.
What's going on with minertopia? I've been mining for 10 hours, have 25% of the pool hash, and have 0.5 ESP to show for it. Is there some huge lag time going on here?
I am currently using EWBF's 0.3.3b and that's stable. Defender thinks that the newer one has a virus. Can't remember the ones that crashed since I deleted them ASAP. My primary concern is whether, if HUSH switches to mining two coins, if miners can continue using EWBF 0.3.3b or if we will have to switch to some other dual miner.
If you implement the merged mining, as indicated in the counterparty link you provided, would we have to switch mining software? I hope not because it took a long time to locate a good equihash miner that didn't crash, have viruses / bugs, or run the GPUs too hot. Or if so, can you please make sure a good mining software is up and running before the switch?
