2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 19, 2017, 10:32:23 AM
One of my biggest regrets with bitcoin would be not showing that much interest to it before compared to now. I though that it would not have that much bearing or importance to a person's daily life. I regret the time when I already knew the idea of it but did not bother to gain more knowledge about it, and now that it is quite popular and keeps on growing the interest of people it's unfortunate that I missed the earlier opportunities of becoming one of the first thousands to invest on it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: September 13, 2017, 03:08:41 AM
Not entirely sure but I am confident that it's concept will continue to evolve and survive after a hundred years especially that technology continues to evolve and continues to better the lives of human being. I feel that the coming generations will sooner or later find a way to make "bitcoin"survive and be more useful and user friendly to the general public.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 03:57:47 AM
What I really like best about bitcoin is the potential it has for the future, and how it started. It was just this single concept that made a huge impact in both the technology world and the financial world and how it defines our future, how relevant and practical it is, how it's not impossible to use and how it evolved to be today and how it continues to widen and expound for other users to utilize it.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 30, 2017, 11:40:03 PM
I actually save mine for the mean time until I fully know how to "play" the game and then i will start to invest it and hopefully make more money through my investments. Though I know this is not advisable since this would take me too long and am wasting the opportunities, but slowly and surely, I am really fully understanding bitcoin and will invest very soon.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 30, 2017, 11:37:36 PM
This is not entirely impossible, since a lot of people really depend on cashless transactions and feel that they are more safe and secure when they have less cash on them, but I also believe that this will put paper money out of the picture because people will still continue using them and some people still feel more comfortable with paper money transactions. Though the idea is really possible.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: August 30, 2017, 11:35:07 PM
This is a very interesting and inspiring story, however, I feel that we should not do the same things a person did just because they gained wealth or a positive result through it, rather, we should make our own choices and our own decisions on how we could earn more and utilize our resources to live better and have financial freedom.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber’s New CEO Is a Bitcoin Fan on: August 30, 2017, 11:26:18 PM
Though most people agree that this is nothing to be hyped or be excited about, however, I feel that this is a great avenue to popularize and make bitcoin known to the majority of people since there are a lot of uber users, and for example, if uber would allow bitcoin to be paid in my country, then people would be curious and more eager to find what bitcoin is all about and how they may be able to get it.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: August 30, 2017, 11:22:16 PM
People still prefer cash, debit and credit cards, atms, banks and checks is because this is where they are most comfortable with. Money is something personal and sensitive to us, we treat it as a baby, since we really work hard for it and so we want to put it somewhere safe and somewhere we know won't get stolen. People still prefer these kinds of avenue for money because they feel secure, with bitcoin on the other hand, it is something new and still needs to build that certain level of trust.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 30, 2017, 11:17:48 PM
In whatever or wherever you put your money on to invest, there will always be a  high level of risk, especially if you do not know fully what you are investing on and you, as an investor, just depends of heresy. When it comes to investing in bitcoin, you can expect a high amount of risk but you can also expect a high amount of return, and that's what's great about it especially that most people know little of it still.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: August 30, 2017, 11:14:27 PM
Parents usually disagree to anything connected with technology and feel like you are not using your full potential when you are "working for the internet" probably because they are somewhat conservative or not really open minded that people nowadays really earn their living through the internet and that not everything in the internet is a scam, there are actual jobs, and with parents being against bitcoin, it is also the same, because somehow when money and the internet is involved, it is already a red flag for them.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: August 24, 2017, 02:47:12 AM
Bitcoin is not widely accepted in the Philippines, atleast quite not yet, maybe because people are not yet quite knowledegeable about the term or idea of Bitcoin itself that is why it is not yet fully accepted in my country. But I do hope so in the near future that my country would be the same with Germany and that people will soon accept the idea and how efficient bitcoin can be.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your dog for 100,000 usd in btc ? on: August 23, 2017, 11:23:12 PM
I will not sell my dog for any amount offered to me. Even though I only owned a dog for a short amount of time, I treated him not like an animal but an actual part of my family, and whenever my boyfriend talks about his dogs and when one gets sick, I find myself tearing up because I can feel the love in his stories and how much he really values his pets and that is why no amount of money can be at par with those sentimental memories.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: August 23, 2017, 11:12:50 PM
The value of a Bitcoin depends on the perspective of each individual. Some may view bitcoin is useless while some value bitcoin and maximize its use as far as it can. Personally, bitcoin is not at all useless because in this day and age where technology is really part of our daily lives, and bitcoin, as everyone believes is the future of money, you can do a lot with it and its up to you to make it your advantage among the people who see it as useless.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 17, 2017, 03:39:45 AM
No, it's never too late to buy or get into bitcoin because it is still in the process of getting known. Only a small percentage of people are aware of what bitcoin is and a small percentage of that value bitcoin and are actually interested in getting or investing bitcoin because they see the potential in it, they see that it can do so much more and that through time it will be valued and be seen as good as cash.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 17, 2017, 02:51:37 AM
My bitcoin dream would be for people to somehow use it on a daily basis and for it to be widely accepted in my country. Right now, especially in my country, people are not really open minded about it because probably they would link it to something illegal or a scam since it is not widely used by a lot of people, unless you fully explain it to them and they fully accept and understand it, then that's the only time they will believe and know that you are not trying to cheat them.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: August 17, 2017, 02:40:43 AM
To teach teenagers and children about bitcoin and what it is, is kind of impossible since at this stage they wouldn't really care much about it,as long as their parents are giving them allowances, but to share them about it is not at all impossible. Maybe we can explain it to them in a fun way like ,for children, through a game or storybook, with teenagers on the other hand, probably by how they could increase their allowance and buy more things by not asking more money from their parents.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 17, 2017, 02:24:44 AM
To be honest, I haven't thought about it much whether or not I should be saving bitcoin for my future. I the type who's learning to live in the moment and just go with the flow but still making responsible decisions along the way. For bitcoin, I would rather spend it for fun, for now, until i understand how it functions over time and rely on my monthly income for future use.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason that keeps me from investing in bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 12:13:47 PM
Probably now, we cannot really see how bitcoin will be mainstream and that investing in it is really quite risky compared to investing in stocks where there is still a large scale of risk but a lot of people are doing it then why not right? But I believe, when you really understand how bitcoin works and how useful and effective it can be, it can really make a good investment, though right now its not really as good as cash but it is defined as a currency and a number of avenues are accepting it.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 16, 2017, 12:02:41 PM
100 year from now,I believe bitcoin will still be evident. Especially by that time, people will be more aware and knowledgeable about what bitcoin is and how to use it and maybe but that time, bitcoin is already used widely by a lot of people in their daily lives. Bitcoin will survive 100 years from now especially if it continuosly improves and reaches out to a loy more people.
