Is it still possible to get on the whitelist?
Afraid not, the sale is over.

Bizarre that there is still no communication whatsoever from Airfox about the token sale having started yesterday instead of the 5th as they announced.
The whitelist is the token sale. KYC is required for 100% of airtoken sale participants. As it will be a very long process, this is being done over many days in batches leading up to the October 5 date. On that date, token creation will happen. There are about $1 million USD worth of tokens left to go.

are citizens from US, China, South Korea, or Singapore refrained from investing?
S. Korea has 0 issue with ICO unless they are being run from inside S Korea, btw.

What do you mean? It means that the coin is listed on EtherDelta. What else are you seeing there? He asks because the token slae hasn't started, and no tokens have been distributed, however the team announced that EtherDelta and Hitbtc will list AIR token. That is what I meant. Why is the token sold at the exchange when the ICO is not over yet. It is only listed but there are not any transactions in this market. I think the crowsale is normal and we should not be afraid to see AIR appear on HitBTC and Etherdelta. I think when the crowsale ends , markets can begin. Precisely. Once the sale is over and the tokens are released it will be available for trade on Etherdelta. But, it isn't right now.

How can I check if I am in the whitelist?
would be nice if i could double check as well. It is currently not possible to check. When you initially signed up, your screen should have changed to say confirmed. Can we get a finalized number of whitelist members and the official cap on how much each member can contribute?
This is currently not public info. The numbers will not be final until the cap is hit Oct 5. The official cap remains 50,000 USD and will not change. The whitelist is FCFS.

What exchanges will Airtoken be listed on post ICO?
Many. They can't be named due to NDA. Thank you. Am I still able to get onto the whitelist for the ICO, or do I have to wait until it is released on exchanges? ditto
My apologies, the whitelist has been closed a bit now. You will need to wait for exchange.

how are you supposed to get this to the mainstream?
The mainstream is not really the target demographic. From the whitepaper: https://www.airtoken.com/paper/AirFoxICO_WhitePaper_v3.0.pdf1. Users: Access to mobile data via token-spotting and advertisers. AIR will be used as the ledger of record for the user’s smart-phone data and personal information. Users will receive AIR rewards for opt-in advertising (instead of the ads being an invisible burden on their data) and peer-to-peer spots of AIR based on our internal AirFox user “return grade,” (representing the recipient’s likelihood to return to providers the AIR spotted) furnished by AirFox for AirFox internal evaluation guidelines only. Users can redeem AIR for mobile data recharges across prepaid carriers around the world, and eventually physical and digital products, across publishers and advertisers.
