@Boriss Hey, what constitutes your BTX address? Is it your public key?

Hey all,
I'm hoping you can help me with what might be a n00b problem. I've been trying to claim airdrops for at least 2 weeks now but I must be doing something wrong.

I go to the Bitcore Airdrop Site - https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php and follow the instructions. It mostly all makes sense, except the part about my BTX address. I assumed it was just a receiving address, so I created a new receiving address and signed it. I did it late Sunday night last week so I thought maybe I missed the deadline, but then this week still no airdrop. Is it a different address? If so, where can I find the address?

Thanks in advance for the help.

only addresses containing BTX will receive airdrop. so if you registered an empty address with 0btx in it you will receive 5% of 0. do the math or the meth... you choose

Yes, I have btx in the account. Now, instead of being a troll, maybe you have some useful advice? Is it not a receiving address?

Spoke with Daniel in Slack today. They are optimistic that today (Sunday the 13) will be the day of the wallet release. Additionally, he confirmed he did interview with Forbes, whether or not it gets released is anyone's guess.

I have to agree with some of the others on this forum regarding the release time of their wallet. Here's the deal from a Project Management standpoint.

1. It's important to understand that in the tech world projects are often not released on time. It's incredibly hard to properly manage a project and have a successful launch. Even large companies like EA fail at this task. It's a fact of life

2. Now that the release time is out of the way, we can talk about the real issue. The real issue is a lack of communication on the part of the developer. Being late to work is usually okay, if, you call in and let them know that you are going to be late ahead of time. If you set an expectation that you will be there at a certain time, it is your responsibility to communicate  the reasons you won't be there and when they should expect you. It is no different for Safex. They have made promises to their holders and as of right now are not meeting the obligation. Not only are they NOT meeting the obligation but they haven't communicated why. That is a bad sign, while fixing the problem may not be possible right now, communicating with their holders is.

3. What can we do about it? Realistically, we have a few options, we can sell right now, for some of us at a loss and take that loss and start over. Another option is we can hold because we emotionally believe in the company. We will likely have a long and rocky path but may end up with significant gains in the long term. Or, we can go with my choice, which is to give them a few more days to release wallet and then sell when it hits a price that I am comfortable with. Maybe 700 sats or so, we will see. I don't plan on buying back in until I see better communication with the Safex holder base.

Anyway, my 2c we will see what happens.
