1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICO NOW LIVE!! ||| ICO ANN | EXIRE - FESTIVAL PLATFORM | 3600 REGISTRATIONS! on: February 15, 2018, 08:58:02 PM
Oh, finally! A platform for festivals with some great addition for blockchain. This will go great probably if it can anticipate on the festival seasons and such. Bookmarked.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - Updated] AudioCoin ADC - Where Music Meets The Blockchain on: January 10, 2018, 10:06:34 PM
First time I hear of this while it's been on for quite some time. Wonder how I've missed this...glad I am not too late because from the looks of things it's slowly but steady coming together. What exchanges is this on?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HTMLCOIN (HTML5) NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC on: December 28, 2017, 09:09:30 PM
Has there been an explanation tho why there are so many coins?
4  Economy / Speculation / Hold ETH or exchange it for BTC and hold BTC? on: November 01, 2017, 12:45:47 PM
So, the title is pretty much self explanatory. If you have an x-amount of ETH, would it be more wise to trade that for BTC and hold BTC or will ETH rise faster then BTC?

Example:

If you have 1000 USD worth of ETH - that's 3,5 ETH or so. 300 usd per ETH.
If you trade this for BTC, you have 1000 USD worth of BTC, so 0.15 BTC or something around 6000 usd per BTC.

Which one is more likely to make your 1000 USD go 2000 USD? Will ETH see 600 USD any time soon - or let me ask it differently -> is it more likely that BTC goes 12000 USD then 600 USD per ETH? What do you guys think and what would you do?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will XTRABYTES (XBY) Be A Top 10 Cryptocurrency By The End Of 2018? on: October 18, 2017, 07:54:21 PM
Someone else said it before but I think the major stone of this project is their developer. I kind of like the projects that are not funded by a huge ICO but instead of that are working with the community to bring the project to a higher level. That actually gives a huge amount of authenticity and my respect. I think top 10 in 2018 is too soon, I would go for 2020 rather then '18 or '19.

I dont join airdrop but I love the script and the professionalism of the project. It has a cool concept, it has a working, good and anti-scam script on the website that looks pretty decent too. I wish more airdrop-projects had this level of serious taking of the community.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold for people with less than 1 BTC in wallet on: October 18, 2017, 10:48:05 AM
Anyone got an idea on what the value will be?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 14, 2017, 10:59:49 PM
What do you guys think? Will the rise be even higher when the Bitcoin-rise is over and people start exchanging their Bitcoin to USD - reinvesting USD to BTC when BTC drops and then investing those BTC into alts?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 20.89% APR| POS ONLY on: October 14, 2017, 10:48:43 PM
I am really sorry guys for not reading the topic (I am a little short on time) but do I need to download a new wallet? Mine is probably about 3/4 months old. I really like this project tho, I remember the Minecraft server rumours, new logo contests and all. Is there any progress on that, btw?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XBY] XTRABYTES Live Event Today on: October 10, 2017, 02:59:48 PM
Lmao, read about this project a couple times and already invested a little bit. It's weird that projects like this have little exposure but I guess that happens when projects are not that mature yet. I have a couple of certainty investments that I expect a lot from and one of them is this XBY. I am going to check that event out tonight, perhaps I'll invest a bit more after some info.

I believe people just lost interest because there was no interesting enough news for long time. Volume back in June was actually pretty crazy.

Ah, yes. That can be reason but from what I understand, this is a platform that is being build from scratch. Nothing is copy paste and it's like some sort of blockchain-like platform. That's huge to build and huge to invest in, even if there is no news...but thats just me. I must admit I found out about XBY late too but funny, it's still the beginning.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Billionaire Token - Games on the Blockchain! 🔥 Deflationary Algorithm on: October 02, 2017, 09:46:55 PM
I just checked the history of that member around here and all the messages of that user have been about XBL. Anyone know why? It looks like someone has some hurt feelings and is trying his/her best to create some negative vibe around the project. I must say I can't in anyway relate to any sort of negativity that is being told. The part about activity on the Slack with 5-10 people...I am in many Slacks and a whole lot of them are dead Slacks while in others, the core of the community is also around 10-15 people. It's not a weird thing that in Slack with 200 members, 10 are active. Lambo talk is also in every Slack. Really, what are we talking about here?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2017, 09:14:22 AM
Doesn't the whole world kind of hate Bitcion. Government wise speaking. As soon as they know what value goes around without being able to get tax out of it, it's pretty much an enemy.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICOs Banned in South Korea on: September 29, 2017, 09:11:29 AM
But there is no source. Yet...

Is South Korea a big player in the world of Bitcoin? And does anyone know what this could mean on the big picture?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Altcoins turned me off Bitcoin / Crypto Currencies on: September 27, 2017, 08:30:42 AM
You seem to have more of a problem with ICO's then altcoins in general. There are quite a few good altcoins with no ICO or ICO past. Let's also not forget that altough ICO's are mainly for founders to get a good amount of money, it also brings in quite a few investors and big companies into crypto. Let's not forget the good parts.

Besides, all the starting ICO's from the past month(s) are yet to be developed with the funds they have received. If even 10% of these projects develop into real working, mainstream users having projects/companies, that will bring even more audience to crypto and with that at least investors too. It's not all moneygrabbing project abandoning greedy people.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 26, 2017, 10:44:59 AM
This would be huge for Bitcoin. It would mean: marketing - every visitor of Amazon would see, hear or read about Bitcoin, regardless of knowing anything about it. And it would mean: trust. If Amazon accepts it, it must be good and trustworthy.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★FlappyCoin POOL WORLD NOW OPEN★ on: September 25, 2017, 10:16:19 PM
I love the symbol/icon by the way. The project actually looks cool and pretty well tought. I for one gained some sympathy for the project. Will dive into it a bit more.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Billionaire Token - Games on the Blockchain! 🔥 Trading on Cryptopia on: September 21, 2017, 03:50:24 PM
why would ppl buy from topia when the ico isn't over anyway?  especially an ico with bonuses.  even more, why sell right now?  lol

Lol, I am one of those people. Bought like 50 XBL just to see what is what on a low buy order and read the ann page right after it. So I didnt know the ICO wasnt over.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan’s CEO claimed Bitcoin it is a fraud on: September 20, 2017, 07:43:32 PM
Fuck JPMorgan’s CEO. All he wants is to lower the price so that he can buy more and more bitcoin. it is true that he told bitcoin was a fraud to cause a big dump and buy bitcoin when the price was extremely low. People tend to follow one who has power on the market and follow their statement. If Trump says that he dislikes bitcoin, there will be a lot of people selling their bitcoin

Crazy how almost everyone knows this and yet people actually responded to this by dumping their bitcoins...guess I am wrong then and a lot of weak hands are still in crypto,..
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 4000 on: September 19, 2017, 02:14:13 PM
For some reason, bitcoin very uncertainly reaches this peak. Yesterday it seems already overcame 4000 and even 4100, but today again the price has dropped. Probably at this level a very large resistance

Yeah, but the peak was also too fast in my opinion so I could consider this as a correction but the correction is not big enough. I think it might drop a bit before going again.
