windows defender did delete magi wallet files, lost the shortcut to the main exe file, can anyone tell me how to fix this? don't remember where the main wallet exe files were located.

You could place it anywhere. Now chose folder for magi exe, add it to windows defender exceptions, download magi to this folder and run. |

Since Zpool.ca returned to mine, I predicting daily POW extraction will return to typical avg 500 XMG. Last days it was avg 1000-1200 XMG.

And I thought more people where staking I estimate only 157308 are being staked, or being considered, with my rewards and holding. Or can't this number be calculated that easy? to the devs: is there anything going on with the algo because of al the fpga and the gpu's that they are mining on magi?
i hoped for the price to rise but only the price is going down and down....so sad

I see, you are solo mining mining and blocks are not all getting confirmed - could be that you are beaten to it by pools or other miners - the only ever time I tried mining solo, I didn't mange to generate a single block. I noticed a lot of Proof of Stake blocks with 3xmg only, in block chain explorer. Is this normal?
Yes. it's a function of the blockchain. after a string of large payouts the chain tries to lower the number of findable blocks by prioritising Staking over mining. so it lowers the limit of staking from around 50/100xmg down to as little as 3xmg to help balance the chain. (ideally the block at the end should be made up of 75% staking rewards to 25% mining.). Once it calms down the staking limit will rise again. Sorry, but it is complete drivel) |

Well I invested / sunk again about 2 ETH a month ago, at the last "dip", and I'm not panic selling again. Lost too much the first times, and staking is running currently very smooth. If this goes to Zero well tough-luck(and at least I will be able to keep my Raspberry Mining rig). btw. surrender is no option! anymore  In any case XMG will find a great utility / use case and come out on top. In any case it's only virtual money....who cares if you loose it.  And even if XMG will "just" stays a "crypto learning currency", it creates value. I learned and am learning a lot about crypto thanks to magi, the project team and the community. And I think other too, and I my opinion it was worth every penny (almost, the last 2 ETH hurt the most  ), and will stay here for a long time. We maybe won't reach the moon, but the trip will be fun, at least Vitalik_Pedik post were always colorful and funny.  |
