Thanks goatpig - Are there any resources on how to build from the source?
Also, I noted in the Rothbart thread that you mentioned "I'll fix the CPU fuckery for the next version if you wanna revisit this in ~1 month" - if that means I just need to wait 1 month to be able to install the next offline release on my older computer, that would work fine for me too.

Thanks for the help! I installed Unbuntu 14.04.5, and then used the "armory_0.96.2-ubuntu14.04-amd64_offline.tar.gz" file to install Armory and the dependencies and everything seemed to go fine (Ubuntu Software Center says they're both installed). However, when I try to launch Armory (Offline), nothing happens.
Am I having the same problem as Rothbart with my processor? My computer has an "Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80 GHz x 2"...

Thank you - I grabbed the "armory_0.96.2-ubuntu14.04_amd64.deb" file you linked to, copied it to the offline computer, and extracted it to the desktop to get the resulting "0.96.2-ubuntu14.04-amd64_offline" folder. However, the two .deb files in that folder ("armory_0.96.2-ubuntu14.04_amd64.deb" and "python-psutil_21.2.1-1uuntu2_amd64.deb") open as GUI's with "Install" button, but nothing happens when you click those "Install" buttons.
Apologies in advance if this is basic Linux/Ubuntu stuff - I'm not an experienced user.

I'm trying to do an offline Armory install on Unbuntu 16.04.3 LTS running on a computer that is not connected to the internet, but the "0.96.0 for Ubuntu/Debian 64-bit with GCC 5.3" install file doesn't appear to have the dependencies needed to complete that install offline.
Is there a way to get those dependencies without connecting my computer to the internet? Do I need to install an older release of Armory if I want to do the offline cold storage/online watch only wallet? Or is it something else?
Thanks in advance.

Ha - I probably should have checked that first.

Thanks again.

achow101 - please disregard my last post.
For those reading this in the future who are equally linux-ignorant as myself, you need to extract the tar.gz file (e.g., to your desktop), and then open the resulting OfflineBundle folder, double click on the Install_DoubleClick_RunInTerminal.sh file, and select "Run in Terminal". That will install the 0.93.3 Armory version. I used that version of Armory to sign a transaction created by the 0.93.2 Armory version on my Internet connected computer, and it just cleared.
achow101 and jefferson7 - if you post an address in this thread I'll buy you each a few beers.

Thanks achow101 - I copied the .tar.gz file to my air-gapped computer via a USB key. However, I'm unable to get it to install. When I open the Install_DoubleClick_RunInTerminal.sh file, I get what looks like a text file with the following:
#! /bin/bash
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
I tried entering the sudo dpkg -i *.deb command into the terminal, but received the following message:
dpkg: error processing *.deb (--install): cannot access archive: No such file or directory Errors were encountered while processing: *.deb
I apologize if this is elementary linux stuff - I've only ever worked with linux to install this offline armory wallet, and this is all very foreign to me.
I really appreciate your time on this.

Thanks again jefferson7 - can you elaborate on the dependency I need and, if possible, where I can find it?

Done. Tried to delete this original post so it doesn't clutter up the board, but the forum won't let me

Armory 0.90-beta running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my air-gapped computer was unable to sign transactions created by Armory 0.93.2 on my Internet connected computer, so I tried to update the Armory version on the air-gapped computer to Armory 0.93.3 for Ubuntu 12.04+ (32bit) and ran into a "dependency is not satisfiable: python-qt4" error. Now I can't get the Armory wallet on the air-gapped computer to launch anymore, and I'm unable to find where the error logs are stored in the Ubuntu file system (or else I would have them posted below) relevant error logs are available at https://pastebin.com/vcdyVCZA. Hoping someone here can help me get the offline wallet up and running so I can sign some transactions - thanks in advance.

Apologies for posting the novel, and thanks for the heads up (pls let me know if you think reposting a shorter version of my problem would help.)
I'm running into an issue with obtaining the error logs on the AG machine, as the offline Armory wallet will no longer start up since I tried to update it to Armory 0.93.3. I'm looking around Ubuntu for them, but I'm a Windows user, and nothing in the Ubuntu file system looks familiar to me. Any advice on how I can access those error logs when the Armory wallet won't load?

So back in 2014 following the Mt. Gox disaster, I used Armory to create an offline wallet on an air-gapped computer, and set up a watch-only wallet on my Internet connected computer. The original install wallet was Armory 0.90 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my air-gapped computer as well as my Internet connected computer. However, over the years I was forced to upgrade my watch-only wallet on different Internet connected computers to Armory 0.93.2 in order to keep track of my bitcoins.
So I recently acquired a KeepKey, and today I fired up the air-gapped computer today to sign some offline transactions and transfer my bitcoin over to the Keepkey so that I can import the private keys from the Armory wallet into a Bitcoin Cash/BCash/BCH wallet and access those coins without risking my bitcoins. However, I ran into some issues, as Armory 0.90 was unable to sign the transactions created by Armory 0.93.2 (to be clear, I was able to fire up Armory 0.90 on the air-gapped computer and import a transaction created by Armory 0.93.2 on the Internet connected computer, only to have Armory 0.90 be unable to sign that transaction.) I thought the easy solution would be to update the Armory version on the air-gapped computer to Armory 0.93.3 for Ubuntu 12.04+ (32bit) - the earliest version of the Armory software available on their website - but ran into a "dependency is not satisfiable: python-qt4" error.
What's more concerning is that now, following my attempt to upgrade the Armory software on the air-gapped computer, I can't get the Armory wallet on the air-gapped computer to start up anymore, and the Ubuntu Software Center history on my air-gapped computer lists the following files as "removed":
libqt4-test (4.8.1-Oubuntu4.4) libqt4-help (4.8.1-0ubuntu4.4) python-qt4 (4.9.1-2ubuntu1) libqt4-designer (4.8.1-0ubuntu4.4) armory (0.90-1) libqt4-scripttools (4.8.1-0ubuntu4.4)
I still have the seed for my Armory wallet in a safe deposit box, but I was hoping to be able to transfer the bitcoins out of the Armory wallet and to the KeepKey wallet by signing transactions via the air-gapped computer (as well as access the Armory wallet private keys on that air-gapped computer wallet to access my Bitcoin Cash/BCash/BCH).
I was hoping I could get some advice from this forum on the safest way to get my bitcoins from the Armory wallet and to the KeepKey, which is the #1 priority. If that enables me to access my BCH, that would be great too.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me out.
