1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RCH] RichCoin - The Coin continue add value to your wealth | Launched on: June 27, 2013, 04:38:39 AM

RichCoin is trading on BTCLTC.

It is a Chinese site (or at least Chinese language) but not hard to navigate by looking at the urls and/or using Google Translate tools.

A good start, and looking for some of the usual trading sites to catch on.  A market is there.

I like that we have time to mine before watching a market 'bubble' as so many others have.

1.12 Million pre-mine and people are still mining this.. Can't see this taking off myself  Undecided

Yep.  So long as the pre-mine is used to grow the coin interest and value and not dumped, I am ok with it.  I've seen a few coins without the incentives just die.
If it doesnt fly, it will likely be some other reason.

Just a quick thank-you to the developers and pool owners for continued support and updated code.

Franko was a fairly smooth launch, especially compared to some of the others recently.  It did get lost in all the announcements.  A real exchange (c'mon cryptsy) would be a big help to finally grease the trading badly needed.

I continue to mine it - the p2pools run great - presently on coinminer.net:9777/static with the v0.6.3.2-g3aaa7ba-beta build.

If anybody wants to trade, pm me.  I also might contribute to a faucet.

Welcome,

This is definitely a good time to learn about this up and coming form of transactions.

I would recommend mining and trading a bit just to get a better handle on all this works.  The experience may pay off when clients begin asking about this stuff.

Pretty sure its not going to work.  I got an old 1800 that is not even in the machine.

But its not a waste.  If you decide to invest a bit for an OpenCL card, you may want a secondary card for using your machine during mining.  Intense mining on a GPU that is also used to drive your display generally makes your interface choppy or non-existant.

Hey, come on in!  Welcome.

For the GPU's, go with a scrypt-based coin like Litecoin early on.  Lots of good Pools.

Once you have gathered a bunch, you can play with trading sessions or get into some other alternate coins and see if they pay off.  Patience is key.
