Currency volatility was an issue on these other sites as well, although it's somewhat extreme with SIGT at the moment due to its being so new. I'm sure once the volatility decreases and/or the value steadily increases it won't be so much an issue. Sites that used BTC had sellers adjust prices manually add they didn't have any automated corrections.
That's definitely an interesting idea though. The market could even provide the seller an option of price corrected listings or "brave the market" listings where one could win or lose depending on how the coin value changes.
No doubt, thanks. Yeah that's just the big hurdle to mass adoption for these type of things. Like enterprises don't want to throw money at Sia not knowing what the hell they are actually paying, and hosters also don't want to host for well below what they actually expected. They need one more layer of development where there's some type of actual currency pegged to it. All fine and dandy to actually pay with the coins, but it has to be a "I pay X amount and my $ just convert into coin as I sign the contract". So same goes for SIGT. Sure some would gladly like to spin the roulette wheel with the listings... But me personally, and I'm sure plenty others, wouldn't be game to gamble what price we sell at and therefore never even bother thinking of using it. I'd like to know if the coin shits the bed in value, my listing could be changed or updated on the fly. Not worry about some hawks trying to capitalize on a nosediving coin and then swoop in to buy. Ebay has buy it now listings and minimum bid listings for a reason. But yep, we can all agree eBay blows haha. isnīt "signatum pay" supposed to give merchants exactly that feature, for customers to pay in SIGT according to current USD(/btc/whatever)-value?  |

Question: Will the tor site contain items the standard site doesn't? I referring to ::ahem:: things you normally find tor sites you don't find on normal sites. I mean this is the reason BTC is and remains so popular. Can't find herb or anything similar on the internets, but can be found on the dark web with a little effort.
The official marketplace will not allow any illegal items to be listed, even while on tor. So under which legilation is this official marketplace running? (no troll but we all agree that theres very few if any state with THE answer to legal and illegal right? ) Looks solid so far, need translations or we keepin it english for now? |

Is nicehash planning to add signatum to their miner? Will be glad to accumulate cheap sign that miners will dump on exchange  already happend, the nicehash release has same wierd power usage and same hashrates tho... was hoping it would improve on that^^ even spend some on ordering hashrate to get some extra coins while it was still ~15k diff anyone got a hint how to get a flat(-ish) power draw and not that zig zaggy shit? |

Are there any indicators that Signatum will rise in price. I am sorry but I am not really good at looking at charts. Maybe there might be indicators but I cannot see them. Can someone help me decide if it is right to invest on this coin. Thanks.
If someone had the brains to scrap all of the arithmetically scaled charts and use log scale... then I could read the chart. Right now the only chart I have found is arithmetically based and, as such, it is useless. On the arithmetic scale chart, it appears that SIGT headed into a 'descending wedge' after the last rally to 4000 or so. If that IS the case, then we are starting to work free of that patter and that should mean a return to retest the highs in place before the last sell off. But, I am guessing because it is not possible to see things accurately in anything but a log scale. Now that is very well put, we got a pro here how big you invested jimbo? xD Just been mining since 8/7. It's sort of a hobby. But I have been charting the S&P 500 every single day for the last 8 years. I will think I am OK in saying this... if SIGT makes a solid run over 1300 then the short term bottom should be behind us. That does not mean we do not test it again at some point, but it means it likely heads back to test 4000 first. Bottoms almost never end up being tested just once. Twice is common, as is three times. But I think the cryto market might be too intense and heated for a third. This would be the second test for SIGT since it inception. Regardless, I told myself I was putting ETH mining on hold while I mined SIGT at least through block 60K. Mining Eth/whatever most profitable and then buying SIGT would be also very viable at this point tho (especially in terms of raising the trade volume in a positive way ^^) so letīs tell everyone it's best to mine whatever and buy sigt? |

Is the Palgins CC Miner still getting the best hashrates or has anyone switched to something more optimized?
idk im like illiterate when it comes to most coding so i took the ccminer out of the nicehash legacy release, i figuered they would know best^^(also in terms of hidden malicious code), was hoping to get rid of the wierd power usage or the crappy reported hashrates on suprnova most of the time but no cigar, still best coin to mine xD |

with recent bitcoin movements and FUD in SIGT community graphs are screwed up into unreadablilty (not an expert  ) all i see is "was high, now tanking in a low" combined with Nicehash and whattomine adopting it and new exchange (even if not a super awesome one^^) AND the marketplace AND POS in sight i think its weighted towards upwards trend it was at like 5000sat then some uncertainty with dev team n stuff happened, pretty sure price will recover very soon, things just got cleared up like a day ago from what i can tell lets just hope theres enough smart miners out there not selling/dumping day by day but hold some sigt until price can consolidate at acceptable level again... if miners just keep selling for next best price to get paid asap its prolly not helping anyone ^^ |

need a whale to make a wave ^^ wouldnt mind having it tank another few days until next block halving, also maybe i can that way top up on some cheap SIGT, i have much(relatively speaking xD ) locked up in other things that are downswinging too so cant really buy in for more atm  could provide some translations btw, not sure if needed or which are reserved... pretty sure ze germans would appreciate signatum even only for the name for example but most suck big time at anything english ^^ |

most of the things you do with bitcoin arenīt in line with authority ideas anyway, maybe bc authority lines arenīt in line with the people (anymore, or ever, depending where you live n stuff...)

We would use bitcoin cash srsly tho, bitcoin is made for exactly that scenario eh. Imho no one made it legal and no one can make it illegal. Itīs there now whether authorities like it or not. (if you think FUD is bad in forums, think of stiff old politicians getting a grasp of what bitcoin does xD) Also, since it isnt really adopted that widely yet in most countries i dont think ppl would really care or know if banned or not. Doing banned things with bitcoin is what it gave it its value. i think a ban could make it even more popular xD just like people went to buy guns after sandy hook incident... just my 2 cents |

don't worry mate, I don't think we going to see trex anytime soon.you have all the time you need!! you sure bout that? didnt see Nicehash and whattomine adopting it that quick inmids of that FUDstorm of last days... i just wish there was a coin to mine more profitable than with what weīre stuck right now... i raised the nicehash price for skunk (at least for a couple of hours xD ) that should help a bit to mitigate shortsighted miners dumping and maybe raise price longterm (at least thats the scenario my insomniac mind made up, also hit some 15k diff times which are prolly over soon so pretty sure im breaking even^^) to keep mining profitability up with increasing diff we need a better price for the coins, if your a real signatian( ) you buy for 1300sat ! |

lol and i thought cryptopia was a smallish crappy exchange, Nova is pretty much max trash level. We need bittrex n shit asap, its prolly a good thing ppl see it on whattomine... unless your like me and didnt really top up on SIGT bc all funds locked up in other shit and downswings xD still want this to rise, i been mining for the better part of a month |

how much we need to start in hot markets ? with 20+ btc/24hr it would be in top 5 vol as of now. On cryptopia we had 50btc+ vol for days, so shouldnt be too hard to get there... it took out the links in the quote? stupid newbie acc, also have to wait 360secs between posts too... Maybe someone else can post the link for Shapeshift application, would certainly be cool to have. |
