1  Economy / Reputation / Re: The AdkinsBET Army of Alts on: March 06, 2021, 04:22:15 PM
Adkinsbet are a big liars!
They are back and now they opened new self moderated topic with their new hired account mikelsmith2020 who never before has done something similar.
This is their new topic and they started to use other shill accounts to post there:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5322032.0

Topic should be deleted by moderators because it is duplicate of their original locked topic.

They clearly tried to avoid showing negative trust in this way with some disclaimer and deleting any comments they dont like.

Should red flag be created for this or negative feedback given?

I've been handling bounty campaig, design services and management services. I don't know what are you talking about I've stated on my design that I am no related to the Adkins Interactive Group N.V. and they use my to create design and post it.

8  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum-4.0.7 on: December 13, 2020, 06:16:02 PM
It does take a bit of trust to be among the first to install a new release, but you can also verify for yourself that the download is safe.

First and foremost, you should learn how to verify the download using ThomasV's PGP signature.  This will ensure that you've downloaded the official version signed by the developer.  Even if Electrum's website gets hacked, and the download link is directed to a malicious version, this will mitigate your risks.  Here's a tutorial I wrote: [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide].

If you still don't trust the binary releases, you can always take some time to verify the code hasn't been manipulated with nefarious intent.  If you go the Electrum repository, you can browse through the changes made in real time.  You can confirm for yourself that only the changes published in the release notes are implemented into the code.

And if you're still doubtful about the binary releases, you can even run electrum right from the source code.  It's fairly easy if you're running Linux and have all the python dependencies installed (which you probably do if it's a recently released OS.)

Electrum's github.com repository: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum
Electrum's Release Notes (change-logs): https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/RELEASE-NOTES
Electrum's previous releases: https://download.electrum.org/

Yes it's true usually I look here for some users to create new topic about new electrum release and I'm afraid about the new version even if I can verify it. By the way it seems good I've been using it now for hours. I'll lock this thread now.

Was it safe to update your electrum to Electrum-4.0.7?
10  Other / Meta / Re: Red and Yellow Warning on threads on: November 16, 2020, 06:10:57 PM
You are right, those warnings in different colors are flag related. If creator of the thread has Type 1 flag active against him, there will "yellow" warning and in case of Type 2 and 3 flags there will be a "red" warning.

In order for Flag Type 1 flag to become active it needs support of at least 1 DT2 member, wholesale forums flags Type 2 and 3 support of DT1 members is needed.

What do you mean by wholesale forums flags Type 2? I was curious about it too I've seen plenty about this one I thought it was about their negative trust.

12  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Had Update 4.0.4 on: October 16, 2020, 11:43:27 AM
# Release 4.0.4 - (Oct 15, 2020)
 * new feature: "Cancel tx" (#6641). The Qt/kivy GUI allows cancelling
an unconfirmed RBF tx by double-spending its inputs to self.

I haven't update to Electrum 4.0.4 yet, but hopefully there's short explanation about it or some people will assume Bitcoin transaction could be canceled.

Is it safe to update it to 4.0.4?

So far no one reported bug on Electrum version 4.0.4, so it should be safe as long as you update it correctly (download from official and verify it's signature).

Alright thanks!

The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.

17  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keepkey Wallet on: September 15, 2020, 10:27:29 AM
Hello I don't know where to put this topic so i just posted it here, I don't have some extra bitcoin to buy ledger nano X so I do some research to find some alternative hardware wallets that is a bit cheaper and I find Keepkey wallet I also read reviews on youtube and other blogs but I think I should ask the experience of the forum in regards with this wallet.

Does anyone tried this? What could be the pros and cons of this hardware wallet?

IIRC, the keepkey wallet is tightly integrated with shapeshift. If you don't have enough funds to buy a nano X, why don't you buy a nano S or a trezor one?

here's a review from a user i actually trust:
https://www.bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5167988.0
I found out that they have a 50% off code so I think for someone like me who doesn't have enough budget and wanted to invest on a cheap but good hardware wallet it's a good offer for me just wondering if they're good or not.

Thanks for the link by the way.

Thank you so much for answering. I think i should lock the topic now since i'm a bit relieved now.

I am using 1 alt account (only alt account) this one is for my personal matter but anyways I used my alt account to join on a signature campaign on bounty
By the way what is your alt account  Wink.

It's just a 1 jr member I used it to join signature and social media campaigns or projects that I see is worth and I don't want to use this account since i don't want my personal account to have a full reports from different campaigns.
20  Other / Meta / Accident copy paste question on: August 18, 2020, 03:16:45 PM
I am using 1 alt account (only alt account) this one is for my personal matter but anyways I used my alt account to join on a signature campaign on bounty and I tried to open two topics and from 1 topic I quote the other 1 but since it has so many quotes I tried to edit it and only quotes whom user I will going to reply and I copied it on purpose that my internet might crash and i will edit it again.

The thing is that I pasted it on the other thread that it seems like I just copied and paste from another thread but I edited it already. Is there a chance that I might be banned for plagiarism about that? It's purely an accident and edited right away but it seems that it might be recorded on LoyceV's record.

edit. to make it short I copy and pasted on different thread accidentally and it seems it was recorded on archive but i edited it immediately, is my account in trouble?
