1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 12, 2023, 03:39:52 PM
I would choose a government job instead of investing in bitcoin because I have a family and small children. I don't want to be caught and ruin my child's future because of my fleeting desires. Above all, investing in bitcoin does not guarantee that we will get rich from it and be financially free with it. While with the government job, I will definitely earn more money.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter ad sales down 59%, company valuation down 66% on: June 12, 2023, 03:33:09 PM
Well, it seems there are too many young economists here, who are still going to school, and some are still earning extra income to survive the inflationary period. But made statements criticizing and disparaging the richest man in the world and his way of doing things. What are you thinking in your head? Can you do it like him? Have you made billions of dollars like him?
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: June 12, 2023, 03:28:44 PM
They are entirely different because one is a stable currency, and the other is a highly speculative asset. So you can hold both, money used for savings and daily living expenses. While bitcoin is a long term investment and a way to grow wealth in the future. But I recommend holding more bitcoins than fiat, as fiat depreciates over time while bitcoin always increases in value over time.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Effects of Cryptocurrency Adoption on: June 12, 2023, 03:24:12 PM
it will be very hard before you will see a country that will legalize a cryptocurrency so any country that tries to bring such idea of legalizing of cryptocurrency generally or any country the country will be suppressed by other countries because they are against bitcoin already so that is why I think that accepting bitcoin as a legal tender by adopting it it will be very hard

Don't sleep with the idea of no country will legalize bitcoin maybe you are not aware of what has happen in bitcoin space. Some countries legalize bitcoin like El Salvador and nothing bad happened to the country in their adoption of bitcoin. I believe El Salvador is one of the country that will benefit from the next bitcoin bull in 2024 because the government invested in bitcoin as an asset for the country. This will help their economy when the bull next year will happen it will increase the income and gdp.
To increase a country's GDP, the government must create enough jobs for its people. When people have high and stable incomes, the country will develop. The government's focus only on bitcoin investment will not be able to help the country develop more, what they are doing is only personal gain. And what will happen to El Salvador if bitcoin does not rise as we expect?
5  Economy / Economics / Re: My wealth plan for next 3 years on: June 12, 2023, 03:18:41 PM
I suggest dividing also into altcoins, I can get big profits when I invest a lot of altcoins like ETH, BNB and so on, because of the opportunities for altcoins that are cheap or under $ 1 it will be easy to go up 100x even more, while bitcoin if it can go up 100 % in a year is certainly an amazing thing.
If investing in altcoins can be so easily profitable. Can you tell me, how much money you have made from altcoins, and have you become rich? Or are you still losing money on your altcoin investments? Investing in altcoins is not so bad, but investing according to your method, I really don't believe you will be able to succeed.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 12, 2023, 06:34:47 AM
It would be great if Napoli could show football again what they showed in the first 75% of the competition. but they depend on the players, and if they can keep this team together? I think that will be quite a challenge. Napoli's performance and game image has of course not gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe. I don't see either of them going to another team in Italy, I think you have to think of countries like England where the big money is waiting. Juventus will want revenge for the past 3 mediocre seasons without a single title.
The way Napoli has performed this season has impressed everyone. They played great. But we are not sure if they will be able to continue such performance in the next season. It is also unlikely that Napoli's squad will remain unchanged. Several players from Napoli's squad are likely to leave the squad. And so the Napoli coach must try to add experienced players to the team. If the squad is not strong enough, they will not be able to fight for the title next season.
The performance of the Napoli team has to be bowed down. Because this team, like always, this time also continues with the continuity of extraordinary performance. We hope that this team will perform better in this season as well as in the next season.

A good performance next season will definitely strengthen their team. Because teams like Inter Milan and Juventus have not performed as well as expected this season. And so next season these teams will strengthen their squads and fight for the title. And so if Napoli can't strengthen their squad then I don't see them being top of the points table next season. The Napoli management will certainly have to prepare big funds this season.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 12, 2023, 04:45:45 AM
After defeating in a match against Argentina in the Qatar World Cup, Saudi Arabia was widely criticized in the football world. I think since then Saudi Arabia has been taking various steps to bring more changes in football. As this country is financially self-sufficient, they are ready to take any player to their clubs even if they pay the most according to the demand. Especially after Ronaldo joined the Saudi  club, now other players have also started to arrive. Benzema joined the Saudi club recently and it got more attention from people in the football world. By the next few years, these Saudi clubs will rise to the highest level in terms of eligibility. The world's biggest star players will be waiting to play in the Saudi club.
It's only a matter of time before the Saudi Arabia league's planning becomes as popular as European championships. Their autonomous professional source of resources and finances will influence their approach to football, as they will use what they have to search for what they desire. Saudi Arabia has a poor record in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Although they consistently failed to go beyond the group stage in major country events, the more essential thing was to brighten their domestic league. Improvements and signing of significant personalities in the football world.

Not only does Saudi Arabia want to improve their football, but they also want to improve their tourism sector. This is why they are taking world-star players to Saudi Arabia. And one of the world's biggest football fanbases is taking interest in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's performance in Qatar World Cup was not good. No one expects anything good from the Saudi Arabian team. This team was not very strong either. But they were able to beat the champions Argentina which is their big achievement. Several star players have joined the Saudi league. But we don't know if this will improve the performance of their national team.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 12, 2023, 04:24:38 AM
Klopp and Liverpool are the closest to anything that can stop Pep'san City in the league and so far they've only managed to do so just ones. Pep's dominance would make one think Klopp is not good, but that's not true. Klopp is a very good coach, but Pep is just something else. Liverpool couldn't win the league with 97 an 93 points. The season they won it they had to finish the season with 99 points. That's how good you have to be when you're in a titkyrace against Pep. The moment he starts his winning streak, you better not slip up, because any slip up and he has left you behind in the race.
I'm excited to see how next season will be because I can see Liverpool reinforcing their team and I think two or three players will leave Manchester City during the transfer window. Already excited for next season.
Jurgen Klopp is the current coach who will compete with Pep Guardiola in league games and activities. Liverpool has always enjoyed competing with the club, but things changed when City raised the bar by bringing in a goal-scoring machine qualities in Erling Haaland, and Liverpool now has zero competition with the player. Pep Guardiola has his ways of dominating league games, specifically in the English Premier League, where his club is ranked first every season, changing the pattern of how the league operates. Manchester City has the consistency to level up their performance every season, which allows them to match the strength of other clubs.

Jurgen Klopp is quite experienced but we don't see good performance from Liverpool squad this season. Liverpool's squad was by no means weak. However, Liverpool's performances at the start of the season were poor. Jurgen Klopp will certainly have some important decisions to make next season. His squad needs to be strengthened. Liverpool's defense was a little weak. Jurgen Klopp will definitely need to strengthen his defense. Adding another experienced striker to Jurgen Klopp's attack is essential if he is aiming to win the title.
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: June 11, 2023, 04:54:11 PM
The communication between the parties is not clear and the competition is back and forth between the parties, and unfortunately it has a negative impact on the crypto market. I don't support anyone in this situation, but looking at the long-term I think this also needs to appear for the market to be stronger after various crashes. Both the SEC and CZ have their own arguments, from an investor perspective with crypto I can also feel people are afraid that binance might collapse after this event, but for me the optimism with the market This school is more, facing many serious situations in the past, I feel that everything will be better.
Yes you're on point the SEC is the government in disguise trying to control and ruin the crypto ecosystem, many people might think they're doing their job, maybe cause they didn't invest with the said exchanges attacked, but the question is after coinbase or binance, who's next? This question would hit hard when the exchanges they're trading with are being attacked by the SEC as well.
That's what I was thinking too, after the SEC handles Binance and Coinbase, who will be the next victim? We? That's what I fear, but many people gloat when the SEC hits centralized exchanges. Because they hate centralized exchanges, and they think they can borrow the SEC's hand to destroy all the CEXs they hate. But they despise the SEC because the SEC won't stop, and the next victim is none other than the entire market.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 11, 2023, 04:49:21 PM
The current market which is red makes us have to move assets to staking types, lots of staking options without being bound by time and costs so when the price rises we can finish staking, by staking we can get additional income even if the nominal is large then we also get passive income.
As long as you trust that the exchange you are staking on is safe then maybe it can be done. But I personally prefer keeping my assets to a cold wallet if it's bitcoin. but if it's Altcoins then I buy more when the market is red because I think it's the right time to increase my investment amount in altcoins as well as bitcoins.

Altcoins are worth investing in as their returns are many times higher than bitcoin. But is investing in altcoins at this point really suitable? Especially with old altcoins, they have never been a good choice for investment. Don't forget what happened to old altcoins of the 2017 bull season. All of them were replaced in 2021, and I believe that during the upcoming bull season, altcoins in 2021 will also be replaced by newer altcoins.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 11, 2023, 04:43:27 PM
According to me money is never enough. Money is attached to us in many ways in our life. In today's world money is very valuable. Everyone wants to own money by any means. In today's age it seems ridiculous to say that love needs money but it is true. Money Because people can kill people. People do business, jobs and many other things to earn money. There are some people who follow dishonest ways. Finally I will say money can never bring happiness in anyone's life.

As you said above, love also requires money, so money is clearly bringing you happiness. So you are completely wrong when saying that money cannot bring us happiness. To be honest, I don't see anyone with a lot of money who is not happy, the people I find unhappy are mostly poor. They have no money to take care of their families, no money to provide a full life for their children… how to be happy without money?
13  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: June 11, 2023, 04:35:53 PM
Banks generate income through different product and services like one of the primary ways is by lending money to customers at a higher interest rate than the rate at which they borrow money from other banks or the central bank. The difference in interest rates, known as interest rate spread allows banks to earn a profit on the loans they make. Banks also charge fees for various services such as account maintenance, ATM usage and wire transfer. Banks may invest their own funds in various financial instruments such as stocks, bonds and real estate to earn a profit on their investment. Some banks generate income by providing advisory services to clients or by offering insurance products.

Number one of their income is obviously lending  Grin it could be lending to other bank like credit suisse case or lent to other people, a company or government project or lend their money to the government bond. the point is they generated money from lending. and that is pretty much 90% i think  Grin

It can be said that the biggest profit of banks is from their lending sector. But what's wrong with that? Many people say that the bank is taking our money when we deposit money. That's true but it's the art of business, and if we don't like it, we don't have to trust them and no one is forcing us to give them money. Like many people on this forum are also making profit through lending.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 11, 2023, 04:28:06 PM
I don't know the answer could be a long answer but the simplest version of my opinion would be like this

Lend if you want more money while hodl but it has minimum risk, tho it is considered as a risk. and you need a person to use your money. Default on loans is still a thing and problems like this will never be going away. and most bitcoin lending would be on centralized exchange.

Hodl if you have enough money and can forget the noise of the volatility and the purpose is for really long term not a profit in short term and you dont want to take any risk associated with lending activities

Simply having Bitcoin and holding it is a risk in itself. Putting it on loan or getting it into a stake is stacking another risk. It is just a matter of how much can you tolerate with your risk appetite. Also, in my opinion, you are just basically being bored and impatient with profits for holding BTC. Because holding you requires you nothing to do something about it. And you want to do something about it. That is.

If you want to lend it, sure. Just take in mind its duration and credibility to which platform, exchange, or p2p you are going to lend you BTC

Even holding is the simplest, and if you can't do it. You are impatient and want to make a quick profit, and you use bitcoin to lend or stake. Sooner or later, you will take your bitcoins and invest in riskier things, and it is only a matter of time before you lose. Holding is the best and simplest way, we should take advantage of it rather than get rich quickly for a higher risk return.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 10, 2023, 07:21:38 PM
The game has started and it seems that Inter are not as weak as one might think and certainly, if Inter are not provoked or carried away from Manchester City's pattern of play. So, Inter could have been able to hold Manchester City to a draw until the first half was over. But to be honest, the attacks that Manchester City made looked very flowing and of course, this really threatened Inter's defense. But apart from that, I personally hope that Manchester City can win in this first half, whether it's with a score of 1-0 or 2-0.

Both teams are attacking from the beginning of the match. I thought the Inter Milan players might play a bit defensive today. Due to this, their defense is somewhat weak. However, Inter Milan is not playing a defensive strategy at all. Both teams are trying to score goals by attacking and counter-attacking. No team can score in 20 minutes yet. But we are enjoying a competitive and exciting match.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 10, 2023, 06:14:28 PM
Anyway, this season was an unlucky season for Juventus, unlucky with a point deduction penalty that made Juventus fail to finish in the top four. So, I think that with Juventus only getting a ticket to the Conference League next season, I'm sure this case has nothing to do with Dybala at AS Roma. However, one thing that I must mark is that there is no easy way to win the title, even though on paper Juventus has a very big chance to win the Conference League trophy next season.
Apart from having the misfortune of failing to enter the top 4 to get a Champions League ticket due to the point deduction Juventus is also in the worst phase of the game.
It's true that Juventus got a ticket to the Conference League and maybe they can have a championship there next season.
But the question is whether they can focus on matches in the Conference League because of course there is a sense of disappointment at failing to get a Champions League ticket.

Juventus have lost 10 points this season. However, I will say that I was not satisfied with Juventus' performance this season. Juventus' performances have been very erratic this season. They can't play well. But I don't even think they will win the conference league title next season. Juventus' full focus will be on Serie A matches next season. The Conference League title is not important for Juventus.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 10, 2023, 05:44:21 PM
Barcelona is like a new home for Lewandowski, he is very comfortable with the situation at Barcelona which allows him to immediately adapt to the style of play used by Xavi. Lewandowski can still be relied on even though he is already 34 years old, he managed to bring Barcelona to win Laliga and won the top scorer in his first season.
Lewandowski period at Barcelona has just begun, he won't be leaving Barcelona any time soon, especially since Xavi still needs his energy to win several prestigious trophies next season. Barcelona will appear in the Champions League with the status as Laliga champions, need new resources to be able to compete with other strong teams, Xavi will be very busy in the transfer market to bring in several players so that his squad is stronger than this season, moreover he has just lost an important player Busquets and Alba.
There is no reason for Lewandowski to leave Barcelona because he personally feel comfortable to playing at this team and i think he will staying at Barcelona until his contract ended and Lewandowski has been proven to us that he can playing everywhere that he doesn't required long time to adapt with Barcelona and although his goals records still a bit less compared to when he was playing at Bayern Munich but so far Lewandowski is the best striker owned by Barcelona and 33 goals during this season has been make him as Barcelona top scorer and i am sure he will resumes to performing well for next season and currently he is 34 years old but i think he still can performing well for at least for next 1 or 2 season but a bit worried for Barcelona because they have several forward players such as Dembele, Ansu Fati or Raphinha but only Lewandowski who able to performing well
Lewandowski plays one of the special roles in the Barcelona team. He joined the Barcelona team and helped the team achieve great things in an impossible way. Next season this player will help the Barcelona team tremendously to do something great in the Champions League.

There is no doubt that Lewandowski's performance last season was very good. His fitness is good enough and he has been playing consistently well. He has become the highest scorer in the La League. It is expected that he will be able to play well in the next season as well. But Xavi should strengthen his midfield. If the midfield cannot be strengthened, Xavi will not be able to maintain good performances in the Champions League and La Liga.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 10, 2023, 05:32:25 PM
I'm very sure with this  pattern I don't think Dortmund will be able to win any trophy because giving out their best player means it is impossible for them to have a better squad. If Dortmund must win trophy they should be able to package the best players in order to win a trophy. This haa always been the pattern of Dortmund and it normally ends up with the same results.
In fact it was not bringing out the best players, but rather cashing in on the best players by selling them to other teams so that Dortmund's achievements could only come close to those of Bayern Munich. But it will not pass Bayern Munich as long as Dortmund still prefer to release their best players to other teams who then go back to print other players to be better. However, I prefer that next season Dortmund can compete better in order to win a trophy in the Bundesliga, because for the UCL trophy it seems that it is still a bit difficult for Dortmund to achieve.

If the goal of the Dortmund management was to win the title, they would not have sold their best players. Their goal was not the title. Their aim is to make money by selling the best players. And they are doing it successfully. They bricked Haaland last season. Next season I think they will sell Haller. If Haaland and Haller were in Dortmund's attack this season, then Dortmund had the possibility to dominate the Bundesliga this season. But they don't do it. And they are not interested in winning titles.

3 wickets gone for India and nowww are getting clear picture of who'll win this final. Australia is in very good shape and are pretty confident with their balling.
Ajinkaye Rahane and virat kolhi can make a difference for India if they'll bat sensibly.
Day 4 stumps the WTC 2023 Final Australia finds themselves in a commanding position. However, cricket is a game of uncertainties and India still has a fighting chance. The dynamic duo of Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli possesses the potential to turn the tide in India favor if they approach their batting sensibly. India 280 runs needed for victory the final 5th day promises an exhilarating contest that could lead to a thrilling Indian triumph. Let the excitement unfold and witness the magic of cricket but Australia is favourite to win.

Kohli and Rahane are building a good partnership. And the pressure is mounting on Australia's bowlers. If these two batsmen are at the crease, the chances of Australia losing are high. Kohli remains unbeaten on 44 and Rahane on 20. And these two batsmen have already managed to build a partnership of 71 runs. Australia's bowlers must break this pair within the first 10 overs tomorrow. Otherwise, there is no surprise that India wins this match. They have several other experienced batsmen in their squad.

India all out on 296 runs ravindra jadeja tried to make things better but alone he can't do anything,  now Australia is on lead of 174 runs and second innings already started.
If they'll bat like first innings 400 is not difficult for them to make but obviously if Indians ballers do something may be they can give tough time to Australia.
Despite India all-out score of 296 Ravindra Jadeja and Thukar efforts showcased his resilience. While he couldn't turn the tide alone there is still hope for India bowlers to challenge Australia. With a lead of 173 Australia second innings poses a challenge but if India bowlers step up and minimize mistakes they can make it difficult for Australia to extend their lead. No balls and drop catches have proven costly for Australia otherwise they would have taken lead of 270+

India has already lost all wickets. They have only scored 296. That has bought Australia in a very favored situation. The tiebreak is going on right now. Australia did not start their second innings well. Australia has lost one wicket already. Australia has scored 23 and that means Australia is leading by 196. This is certainly not good for India. I do not see how India will be able to win, do not restrict Australia under a target of 350-400. Even then India might find it difficult to actually win.
