1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethOS - Ethereum Mining Platform on: September 03, 2017, 07:55:07 PM
Now that 1.2.4 is out and it uses the new AMD drivers does that mean I can use my VEGA 64 cards to mine with on ethos?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 02, 2017, 07:50:27 PM
I tried to find the answer myself, but couldn't seem to track it down.

Can I now use my Vega64 to mine with claymore on ethOS?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: September 01, 2017, 08:33:13 PM
Enter activation key:

When I go to the IP address of the device. What is the activation key?

Lol what ?
I see that first time in my life.
Its not SRR feature.
Meaning its not mine, where do yo usee that ?

When I go to the IP address of the SRR, that's what it takes me to. Please check your email. I sent screen shots of what I see when I try to get SRR on my windows machine.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: September 01, 2017, 07:39:22 PM
It's not working. How can I factory reset it? Is there a download to flash it back to stock and wipe out all of the config that's on it?
When I find the IP on the network and go into it with the IP and everything I get an error.
'Error while getting info from device'

There is no factory reset feature (no need for that).
Please write to admin@simplemining.net - i will help you debugging whats wrong via Team Viewer.
But first be sure you have LAN connection (not Wifi Wink

So on my main computer, I can no longer see the SRR. But I made a new rig running windows and it sees the device fine. Why is that the case?

I'd like to see it on the computer I use to monitor all my rigs and do my main work on.

Also if someone can make a guide on how to host it to the web so I can access it from anywhere I will pay for your time!

Emailed. Hoping to get this figured out.

This resetter is super, but i dont know how to connect from my office to my home without teamviewer - different IP or for now is only for local network.

Do you have multiple mining rigs? You can install the software on all your mining rig. If one goes down, teamviewer into another rig to reset the one that's down.
You can forward default port (udp_ to external IP if you have static one. Then you could connect from internet.

I need to do this! Just need to know how to get the .exe to see the SRR on my netowrk. It did at first, now it's gone.

Be sure you disabled all other connection interfaces than LAN.
So disable all virtualbox, and wifi. See if it will help.

I have everything set up correct but when I go to open the .exe it doesn't see my SRR on my network.

It did at first, but it doesn't anymore. Any reason why it's not showing up?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: August 29, 2017, 11:42:06 PM
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0 consoleblank=0 amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"
then sudo update-grub, reboot
it isn't worked for my 6 rigs.

Worked fine for me.

tytanick,

How do I add SRR-Agent-Linux-v2.sh to autostart with SMOS?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: August 29, 2017, 08:52:44 PM
Just did it and getting increase. This is cool. If you follow these instructions, just append amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9 to what's already in the grub line so it's
Code:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0 consoleblank=0 amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"

Before

After

@clintar2, did you do that in SMOS with root login?
yes
Done. Working great. Thanks to all great guys here..
How do I pull up another terminal window to do this?

If you are on the same local network as the machine, you can ssh into it with putty in windows. get the ip address of it from the simplemining console. you can do ctrl-alt-F1 through F8 I think to get a new console if you are at the machine.

ctrl-alt-F3 did it for me. Thank you.

Went from 163MH/s to 178MH/s mining ETH with claymore. 6 RX580 Sapphire 8GB cards.

Has support for the RX Vega 64 been added into SMOS? What about overclocking features too?

Anyone tested it yet?

I have a 6 GPU RX Vega 64 that i'm planning to expand into 13.

I have 3 of them and they don't work on Linux yet.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 minerstat.com - [Control][Monitor][Integrated Exchange][Alerts][APP] and more on: August 22, 2017, 03:31:53 PM
I might have to make the move to this.

I've tried ethOS and SMOS and minerstat seems to have the best dev support and quickest updates.

Forgive me for being a rookie or asking a stupid question, but how does this handle 13 GPU rigs? I might switch to windows because of the new driver, I just want to know if it handles it well or recognizes all GPU's.

we support up to 16 gpus (but that will extended to 32)

linux client under developement and os coming soon

Windows support to 16 GPU's? Sounds like I'll be giving this a shot after work today. Smiley

Perfect. I just need to know the root password. Cheesy
For now its no secret. miner1324

Thank you. 1324, not 1234, correct?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: August 20, 2017, 09:13:30 PM
Thank you for the update! I'm about to start a TB250PRO build with 12 GPU's. Should I hold off? My H110BTC Pro+ works great.

You can fix the current image accually by doing this tutorial by yourself:\https://steemit.com/mining/@maebog/running-12x-gpu-on-the-biostar-tb250-btc-pro-with-simplemining-os

Anyway i will be adding this and few others parameters and rap up as new image.

I have two rigs on SM right now

Theres a way to mine ETH on one rig and mine UBIQ on the other? or i have to put another email on the other rig and make separate accounts?
The Rig grouping feature is almost complete, only few tests and fixed and will be deployed.

will the new nvidia image fix p106 oc & fan control?
The OC isnt working and i dont know why. I might know how to fox 2MH problem and force p106-100 to work without OC but still OC isnt working and we pbobably need to wait for new drivers ?

No update still.
Tytanick, ETA on the SRR's being shipped out? Can I have contact info for team that handles the SRR orders and shipping?
Please remember that all SRR are shipped within 1-2 weeks after ordering.
Currently we sent all orders that were ordered before 10 August. Curently waiting for PSU delivery and then sending process will be resumed.
So if you ordered after 9 August, please just wait - you will get email once it will be shipped Smiley

After rig grouping update and new OS release (which should support those new motehrbaords like TB250 and Z170) i will be doing some little "roadmap and bugs" website to let you know what are known curent bugs and what near releases will be about.
Meaby i will some do some kind of list of my features that will be in SMOS + some voting system to give users posibility to vote what is most important for them.

Also i will be doing some servers deployment + some IP load balancing to make website working smoother than now.
So i guess there will be again some maintenece periods Smiley

Also thanks all of you who are paying on time.

tytanick,

I know you said you have a team that handles the srr orders and all of that, but is there a way to get in contact with that team? Trying to figure out how long my order will take before it ships. It was ordered a few days ago and still says processing.

Is anyone else having issues with a VEGA 64 GPU being recognized by SMOS?
