1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: November 26, 2017, 09:57:41 PM
Create a good crypto portfolio
5 BTC => BTC
5 BTC => ETH
1 BTC => other alts (NEO, OMG, DASH etc)
1 BTC => ICOs and small market cap coins ( basically high risk)

I use Kraken, Bitfinex, Binance and Bittrex.

Currently, I trade mostly in Bitfinex. It is one of the best platforms for margin trading, but lately, I have heard some bad rumours about the platform.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experiences with Localethereum on: November 03, 2017, 08:12:19 AM
sory, but what is localethereum, is that some kind of decentralized exchange or centralized exchange ? or just another ICO project
new heard about that, maybe if you add any link from localethereum its will be good

Here the link
https://localethereum.com/

It is a platform that enables over the counter transactions between private buyers and sellers.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Experiences with Localethereum on: November 01, 2017, 09:39:33 AM
Hello All,
I am interested in Localethereum platform. I believe that it can represent a valid alternative to other exchanges accepting fiat like Kraken and Coinbase.

I have studied the rationale behind their smart contract and it seems pretty solid:
  • The seller deposit ethers in the platform
  • the buyer send fiat currency to the vendor
  • as soon as the buyer receives the transaction, he can release ethers to the buyer

The Localethereum team jump in only if there are disputes, otherwise, all the communications between seller and buyers are private.

What do you think about this mechanism?
Did you try the platform?
Can I trust it?

I think that we will have a great bull run as soon as new information about collaboration with the new card issuer will be disclosed. On the other hand, we should consider Monaco... https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/monaco-card-program-receives-green-light-654236203.html

I don't believe that dumping ethers is a good idea, the technology is rock solid and Casper is closer than ever before.
If the price crash... I will buy more  Smiley

Good News.

I have a question if you dont mind.

The github seems a bit inactive with the last commit over 20 days ago.

What is the particular reason for this?

-the china exchange/ICO ban?
-the national holiday?
-efforts focused on other areas of endeavours?

I was evaluating this coin and what is raising my doubts is the low contribution in GitHub.
From September, only 1 developer is working actively on the main repository.

https://github.com/mvs-org/metaverse/graphs/contributors?from=2017-09-05&to=2017-10-14&type=c

Did you evaluate this point?
What do you think about it?
