1  Economy / Services / Re: 1 million+ Twitter followers. Anyone interested in advertising? on: May 18, 2013, 04:16:56 AM
One tweet from a Twitter account with 169,000 followers is currently being processed.
Waiting for publisher to Tweet.

UPDATE:

I have other publishers selling tweets: Message me for the account names.
Account 1: 8.7K   Followers | Activism/Tech/Politics
Account 2: 22.7K  Followers | Activism/Tech/Politics (this user has been mentioned on news websites)
Account 3: 73K     Followers | Tech/Science/ (this user was top 4 in the Social Media Shorty Awards for Science)

Note: Prices are subjected to change depending on demand / supply because we don't want saturation. This will help maintain quality on both sides.

can you give us the twitter name so we can check it for ourselves?

It is in his Signature.

It's not the one in my signature. That is separate Smiley

Whats your targeted audience? How much per tweet?
The 1mil+ account has a demographic age of 16 - 28+ (has good engagement: last tweet had 2082 retweets + 541 favourites). Person is still deciding on price point, I'll let you know as the person messages me back with it.

I do have other publishers with 100,000+ followers who have very engaged audiences. Tweets usually include tech / activism / government / security related. - I will add them as advertising options soon.

how were the 1m "followers" acquired?
chinese spam accounts?

Account owner says followers were gained organically, no spamming. Account is about 4 yrs old.

can you give us the twitter name so we can check it for ourselves?

Sure, send me a PM and I'll PM you the @user

I'd be interested in many Twitter access tokens. Can you deliver?

Sorry no.

Yes, I would definitely be interested if I could see what the followers are, and what languages / etc.

Language is English. PM me for the name.

Hi,

Just wondering if you guys would be interested in buying tweets from a Twitter account that has over 1 million followers. Maybe you've created a new bitcoin related website you want to get out there or something like that.

PM if you're interested Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My Bitcoin Calculator: Calculate $ & BTC return based on original BTC investment on: May 16, 2013, 04:38:49 PM
Hello,

I posted this before in the newbies section because I was still a newbie and couldn't post anywhere else, so you all would have not seen this, so I thought I'd share it again as it may be useful to some. Original Post
Anyways, I made this in spare time I had between uni lectures.

It calculates $ and bitcoin return based on original bitcoin investment and buy / sell prices over a period of 21 days. Handy for people who want to BUY LOW and SELL HIGH (make quick buck lol).

Variable: Input your original bitcoin investment in the [ orange box ]
Variable: buy / sell prices in the [ red box ].

The [ blue box ] is the $ amount at the end of 21 days.
The [ purple box ] is the bitcoin amount at the end of 21 days.

The default data in the excel is based on someone who buys bitcoins low at 100 and sells at a high of 105 over a period of 21 days. They started with 10 bitcoins (you can change) to invest.

Give it a look, play around by changing the Variables in the [ orange box ] and [ red box ]. If you guys like and can give me some feedback I'll code it up. I'm planning on incorporating mtgox fee into the calculation as well which will take me a a few mins literally (but I'm too lazy at the moment) Tongue

It has no malicious code, it has been checked by other members of the forum as you can see in the original post.

DOWNLOAD HERE FROM DROPBOX

Thanks Smiley

Hey guys,

We registered this domain a few months ago, we were planning something for it but it never went ahead. We're looking to sell.
It's a great domain name for either a bitcoin news website or other bitcoin related service.

If you're interested just PM us or post your offer here Smiley

No problem... but I was really hoping you'd managed to trojan it, or snuck in a few lines of malicious code amongst a bunch of legit VBA.

I'm really glad to see members actually engaging and being diligent.

I was mostly joking in an attempt to point out that you'd used a formula to set static value.

haha, ye that was actually in cells C3:C23 ... I was probably planning on doing something 'fancier' in the buy/sell cells but I forgot and just left the formula as 100x1 lol. No biggy Smiley

There are no macros in the workbook. No suspicious activity detected and no suspicious network traffic from the VM, but there's something strange happening in E3:E23.

Thanks for checking Nick. Regarding the sell values inside cells E3:E23 I clicked on E3 and dragged down to E23 which fills all the cells in between with the same value, pretty basic excel stuff really... but maybe that's what you're detecting.

If anyone is interested you can follow me on Twitter:
I have a fairly good following on Twitter, and since I also posted this same excel on Twitter, I'm fairly sure they would of found something by now (which they haven't because there's nothing malicious lol).

Maybe will be better if you'll write HTML/Javascript version?

Ye I was planning on coding it up, but I wanted some feedback first. I'll defs code it when I'm off uni in a few weeks.

Haha guys this file is not malicious. I think Virustotal is probably getting false positives. I'm surprised no one tried any other scanners, but I did just to double check in case there was that I, myself didn't know about. Screenshot below. I used http://virusscan.jotti.org/ which checks with Sophos, ESET, F-Secure and Kaspersky to name a few.
Well if you do decide to have a look at it, let me know what you think. Cheers.

Hey guys/gals.

I'd like to share my bitcoin excel calculator, I had an hour break at uni so I thought it would be fun to make.

The default data in the excel is based on someone who buys bitcoins low at 100 and sells at a high of 120 over a period of 21 days. They started with 10 bitcoins to invest.

Give it a look, play around by changing the Variables [ orange box ] and [ red box ]. Let me know what you guys think, it's just something I made which during a lunch break so go easy Tongue
