@Todxx do you respond to github issues?

when dual mining for AMD cards?!

Feature requests: 1. Kaspa 2. Kaspa dual mining with ETC/UBQ/... 3. ERG 4. Kaspa + ERG dual mining
c`mon we need it finally, or you devs become too rich and do not implement new features?!

@PhoenixMiner, starting from epoch 512 I can't run my 1060 6G cards anymore. miner reports "Fatal Error Detected" and something about CUDA and then restarts. Tried various drivers from December and newest with the same result.
If you are mining ETH what does it say about CUDA and which OS? Check DAG size on https://minerstat.com/dag-size-calculatorWatch this video of Red Panda Mining https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1uOzuyeGnQ as it will explain a lot about DAG sizes. The latest Team Black miner (v1.63 or later) still work on 6gb cards and windows 10/11. epoc (512) But you need at least one card in the rig with 8gb memory. it's windows and 6GB cards, enough for current DAG epoch. 2022.08.10:09:35:53.329: wdog Fatal error detected. Restarting. 2022.08.10:09:35:53.397: GPU6 GPU6 initMiner error: Unable to initialize CUDA miner

funny to see how many ppl here still believe in youtubers who are filming their videos "-20C mem temp wow results must do it!" just for hype and likes and not even mentioning potential problems of misalignment (even if you are polishing them very carefully), potential short circuit problems and requirements to maintain thermal paste more often. if the thermal pad is 2MM make sure you use 2mm copper shims.
It's a mistake already in the very first point. Copper pad is not flexible and can't be compressed. if you add thermal paste on top of 2mm copper pad where previously 2mm silicone thermal pads were installed, it will add even more making it 2mm+ leading to bad contact with GPU itself and causing overheating.
|
|
|
You don't need to change anything else, most videos I've watched on YouTube always said to leave the back thermal pads as they are, if you want to see an extra cooling performance then buy a copper pad online with fans on them, this can drag down 2-3°C too Strictly made for 3080s and 3090s it's not a copper pad, it's a heatsink with fans. Don't confuse it with copper pads that dumbsters apply to memory chips.
|
|
|
I'm copper modding few GPUs I have and I need help with a tool that I can use to cut copper shims easily, I will drop a picture below showing the type of copper shim I got and im looking forward to cutting it into 15mx15m size. copper pads is the worst thing you can do for the card longevity, too high risk of breaking mem chips or short-circuit power lines leasing to GPU death. Better just buy good 12.5W termal pads.

Can someone help me with this error? It happens when internet goes down and then miner restarts due to low hashrate. Upon booting up and still no internet connection the miner window will just close down after final error and do nothing. 20220415 15:47:16 ERROR: No connection with eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, retry after 10 seconds 20220415 15:47:26 WARN: Can't connect to the mining pool, resolve: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found 20220415 15:47:26 ERROR: No connection with eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, retry after 10 seconds 20220415 15:47:36 WARN: Can't connect to the mining pool, resolve: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found 20220415 15:47:36 ERROR: No connection with eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, retry after 10 seconds 20220415 15:47:37 TREX: T-Rex instance wasn't validated After " TREX: T-Rex instance wasn't validated" window closes and then I have to manually restart after internet connection is back. So annoying. miner software mistakenly thinks you are trying to cheat it because it can't connect to dev server and verify SSL certificate (?) sounds like a bug. ensure srv1.trex-miner.com:443 or srv2.trex-miner.com:443 or srv3.trex-miner.com:443 are reachable. Not relate to the message above, just want to give a positive feedback: As a former gminer user, I want to report that T-rex miner works just great and stable even with some of the worst Zotac 3080 Ti cards, hashrate is very stable and equals to a reported hashrate on a pool. Seems like the software is very sophisticated and well-coded. Edit: small bug report, seems temp limit fan constraint is not working properly, e.g. I set t:57[25-100] and expect min fan speed to be always at 25%, but in fact on the latest 515 drives I see fan 0%. What's wrong? a bug?

you guys are just poor banned russians, move on to another pool
Sry. That seems to be bullshit. I'm not based in Russia, nor am I Russian. It is not a local problem. concur... US based, same issue then you guys are poor victims of those all thumbs pool operators trying to ban russians and banning you as well by mistake or much less likely just a coincident

I have 3x 3080Ti in my rig and 2 of them now can achieve 73.4 unlock vs 70 previously, but the last one can't even mine with gminer 2.75. No lock detected and hashrate keeps falling down. All 3 cards are the same model from Zotac and have the same BIOS. Have to stick to 2.74, and also really unpleased about devfee increase....

Most likely it’s a proxy because it’s some large farm. And the hashrate displayed is not accurate, it’s maybe one of the rigs that sends it to the pool while he has dozens of rigs in total.
There is no secret in here. Just his hashrate is hidden and since he found a bunch of blocks already it means that it isn’t luck.
Mining this way won’t make you find 1 ETH block a day with a GPU or 2.
Why do you say "likely"? It's a proxy definitely. Even pool detected this saying "proxy detected", This account is using a special proxy server that filters out low difficulty shares, only submitting shares that solve the block. Low difficulty shares goes to pool while high difficulty shares goes to solo and benefit proxy user solely effectively stealing from the pool.
there are worse examples also on ethermine, see https://ethermine.org/miners/0x0e3918efec28549af51a80f7776d0a75783083ec/dashboard That guy mine on ethermine PPLNS pool as well as on 2miners solo pool, see: https://solo-eth.2miners.com/account/0x0e3918efec28549af51a80f7776d0a75783083ec effectively stealing from ethermine. Ethermine support keeps silent, seems they don't care and don't combat with such thieves.

Time to reduce devfee to 0,5 at least, Phoenix Team!!!

bug report: 5.8c has issues with 6600 XT fan control in a mixed rig with 6800. 21.10.2 drivers, just sometimes fan is 0% continuously since startup despite min fan speed set to 30 and GPUs go termal stop. Anybody else having similar issues?

What is the profit for the developer of the tool? How do you monetize your work?

Lolliedieb, I'd like if lolminer can control hardware parameters like voltage/clock as well. Any plans?

TBminer - Gminer 1-0
Nope. This fancy pictures do not prove anything. We need data from the pool when half of GPUs running on gminer vs 2nd half of GPUs running TBM simultaneously on the same rig. Any plans for LHR unlock?
|
|
|
Why do you post it here while 5.8c is already published?! This is misleading. Hacked account?
Most of them are new accounts but a portion are also compromised/ purchased ones. The moment you see one not from PhoenixMiner himself, report and avoid. nope. this one looks like valid account with some merit. I bet it was hacked and despite that I reported this already, this posting is still there.
