1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CampusCoin (CC) - Crypto for Students on: August 14, 2019, 12:39:04 AM
Cryptofarmer,

I have downloaded the current Windows wallet v3.02.2 Cardinal.  The Tools -> Debug Console will not add nodes, using online guidance for command line code.  And the Masternode .conf file will not accept the nodes as you have provided them in the list, or as altered versions that only display the IP address.

How do I add these nodes to the CampusCoin wallet, and how do I utilize the list you have provided?

Thank you for the assistance!

I need a member of the CampusCoin community to provide the information for several nodes, to input into the wallet.

I would like to store CampusCoin tokens in the wallet.  I have downloaded the current Windows wallet v3.02.2 Cardinal, and it displays "No block source available".

Thank you for the assistance!

Where can I store CampusCoin tokens now that the market on coinexchange.io is no longer active.  I have downloaded the current Windows wallet v3.02.2 Cardinal and it displays "No block source available".

I sent 6 million tokens from the X-Cash desktop wallet to an exchange wallet and they were not received.  Is there a person that can troubleshoot the reason this occurred?

The Xhimera community would like somebody to takeover this coin, and re-launch this coin.

The coin should have these specs:

     - Unlimited coin supply

     - A flat, stable, consistent block reward for miners that does not change over time.
It does not increase and it does not decrease over time.

     - Entirely a POW mined coin

     - The market maker for the coin, the founder of the coin, will need to maintain a "Floor price" for the coin that displays the coin on the website whattomine.com

     - Be a market leader, don't follow the other coins in the market.  Use a target market price for a return of about $3 / day per gpu card.

     - At the beginning, the return per gpu card will be much higher while there are fewer miners participating in the coin.  More miners will join to participate, the hashrate difficulty will increase and reduce the return on mining each day.  Over time market forces, and the founder of the coin that is the market maker, will hopefully bring stability to the coin.

     - 1:1 conversion of coins for the re-launch.

The bitcoin formula of a 25 block reward for a 10 minute block time, or a 12.5 block reward for a 5 minute block time is a perfect amount for a flat, stable, and consistent block reward.  This block reward will continue into the future, it will never increase or decrease.

This will add approximately 5,250,000 over a period of four years, which is an average of 1,312,500 coins each year that are added to the total coin supply.

Place the coin on an exchange at livecoin.net, cryptopia, or coinexchange.io and begin trading the coin.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CampusCoin (CMPCO) - Crypto for Students on: April 10, 2018, 09:31:28 PM
I am going to announce this LOUDLY.

To the new people that the Founder of Campus Coin is marketing this coin to at university campuses across the USA.  The Founder is also the market maker for this coin.  The market maker of Campus Coin is causing his investors in this coin to incur a loss right now, at this moment.  The bitcoin price of Campus Coin should right now be trading between 0.00000300 and 0.00000600.

The market maker for this coin creates most of the trading volume that occurs for this coin.

Moving to a larger exchange does not change this task for the active involvement of the market maker with setting the price of this coin.

This coin should be trading at a higher price right now.  This coin should right now be experiencing larger price increases to new trading ranges, and pullbacks in the price where the price settles back to a lower trading range.  The market maker is being negligent for not making this happen right now.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CampusCoin (CMPCO) - Crypto for Students on: April 09, 2018, 08:51:45 PM
I am going to announce this LOUDLY.

The price for this coin, Campus Coin, should have increased more during this period when the price of Bitcoin has come down.  This coin has had numerous positive news announcements, and this coin should not have a strict link to the entire cryptocurrency market.

This coin should be trading in the range of $7 million to $14 million.  It should also have already experienced a price increase above this trading range and then a pullback to a lower price where it would settle for a period of time into a trading range.

During the period that this coin would trade at a market cap between $7 million and $14 million, the price of Bitcoin would at some point increase, and there are some market makers that have decided they would prefer to adjust the bitcoin price of their alt coins downward so that the market cap remains at an equivalent value, instead of allowing the market cap to remain at the higher price after it has adjusted to the increase in the price of Bitcoin.

For Campus Coin, the increase in the value of Bitcoin would increase the price of Campus Coin.  If the market maker decides to maintain an equivalent market cap value then the "bitcoin price of Campus Coin" would decrease as the value of Bitcoin increased.

For the coin Campus Coin, at this moment a hypothetical trading range of $7 million to $14 million for a market cap would increase the "bitcoin price" of Campus Coin from 0.00000130 to the trading range of 0.00000300 to 0.00000600.  At some point the price of Bitcoin would increase and if the market maker for Campus Coin decided to lower the Campus Coin bitcoin price so that the market cap would remain an equivalent value, the bitcoin price of Campus Coin would decrease.  I would have FEWER BITCOIN coins invested in Campus Coin.

I am losing money because the market maker does not want to increase the price of Campus Coin right now, while Bitcoin is trading in a flat range and at a low, and he has decided he would prefer to wait for a run in the price of Bitcoin, to increase the price of Campus Coin.  Campus Coin should be increasing in price right now, it should not matter that Bitcoin has a flat trading range at the moment.  And it does not matter that the market maker would like to go to a larger exchange.

The Founder of Campus Coin and the staff that has been put together have made presentations at college campuses.  They have sponsored events.  They have recently released an updated roadmap, their goal to add the coin to a new and larger exchange, they also have released a Campus Coin Debit Card.

I am going to announce this LOUDLY, this coin should be trading at a higher price right now.  This coin should experience larger price increases to new trading ranges, and pullbacks in the price where the price settles back to a lower trading range.

try this:

cd
cd XHimera
sudo ./autogen.sh
sudo ./configure
sudo make
sudo make install
cd src
xhimerad -daemon

The autogen and configure seem to work, but on make it returns this error:
"No targets specified and no makefile found."

Any ideas?

I completed the installation of a node last week, this is a problem I am having to complete the installation of an additional master node this week.

This is becoming humorous.  I am following a list of instructions step by step.  And after the ./autogen.sh and ./configure commands have been completed, the "make" command will not work.  It states "No targets specified and no makefile found."

I have already tried:  sudo apt-get install automake

How do I solve this problem to continue with the installation at "sudo make" ?

I've seen this also.  Automake is installed, what will solve this problem?

I am putting together a Master Node, and I've used written directions that are available for doing this.

I have cloned the GitHub repository onto an Ubuntu v16.04 VPS server with two different companies that provide VPS services.  The required dependency libraries have been added correctly.  The second company I used offers managed VPS services and the support desk has confirmed this information below.

I have cloned the GitHub repository onto the Ubuntu v16.04 VPS server.  The response for these two commands is that this file does not exist:

chmod +x /root/XHimera/src/xhimerad

/root/XHimera/src/xhimerad -daemon

The /src folder contains a file xhimerad.cpp but this file does not appear to be the correct file.

I need somebody from the community to provide a SOLUTION for this problem.

I'd like two people to send a private message to Zoldur, to have him get in touch with me.  He made a post on this forum about a script that he has.  Zoldur does not allow private messages to be sent from new users.  I would like to talk to him about something.  I appreciate the help, thanks.

I would appreciate some help with solving this.  The daemon file is in the correct /src folder in the file directory.  I've made the file executable with the chmod +x command.  When I try to run the daemon file ./xhimerad -daemon the Linux server responds with "No such file or directory".  The file path is correct and the file and directory do exist.

When I try to run the daemon file as ./xhimerad.cpp I am told there is a syntax error.

Can you offer some assistance for this issue?  Thanks.

You must 1st compile the sourcecode

For the steps that need to be completed I am at:

./xhimerad -daemon

and I have the problem that I have mentioned.

I am setting up my first Ubuntu Master Node with a server and I've run into a problem.  When I try to run the daemon file to begin synchronizing the blockchain for the first time from the server with Ubuntu v16.04, the server replies that there is "No such file or directory".  I am familiar with filepaths and operate well with them.

The file directory cloned perfectly fine to the server.  The daemon file is in the /src folder where it should be.  I've made the file executable with chmod +x command.  When I attempt to run the daemon file from within the /src folder as:

./XXXXXd -daemon

I am told there is "No such file or directory".  Because this is the first time I am starting a Master Node with an Ubuntu VPS server online, I also tried running the file as:

./XXXXXd.cpp -daemon

And I received the response "syntax error near unexpected token".

I see that Zoldur has a shell script he offers for a quick installation, but I'd like to go through the steps of placing this Master Node online to learn how to do this.  Can you tell me why this daemon file will not run when the file path is correct, and I see the file is listed in the directory?

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

I am in the middle of putting together a Master Node and I would like somebody to post information that will help me complete this.

I have loaded the files from GitHub onto an Ubuntu v16.04 server, and the settings for the wallet have been completed with the conf file.  Which file do I execute and run to begin the blockchain synchronization?

The doc directory on github says for a Linux installation to run the xhimera file in the bin directory.  I do not see a bin directory or this Xhimera file that I would run for the Linux  installation.

for that you run xhimerad -daemon
in the directory:  /XHimera/src

if your xhimera.conf file is not in the correct directory, you will get an error message which will tell you where it should be

Okay, I am getting the response "No such file or directory" when I run xhimerad daemon in this way ~/XHimera/src/xhimerad -daemon

The file directory has correctly cloned to my server and all the files are correctly listed on the Linux server.  I have run "ls -ld *" to list the files in the directory and I see that the executable file is there, xhimerad.cpp but it continues to respond with "No such file or directory" when I attempt to run xhimerad -daemon.

I've tried to run this from within the /src directory and from outside the /src directory and I have used the correct file path each time.  What is the solution for this for me to run this file and get the blockchain to begin synching on this Ubuntu server?

The server has not bothered to tell me if the conf file needs to be placed into a specific directory folder.  I had created the directory .xhimera and placed the conf file inside that.  Then after I read your note to run the xhimerad -daemon I also tried placing another conf file into the /src directory.

I am using Claymore ZCash/BTG Miner v12.6 with Windows 10 for some AMD gpu cards.  I decided to mine a different coin that has the Equihash algorithm.  After I open the .bat file Claymore opens and immediately displays in red font "Unknown Option" for the wallet address.  Claymore continues to run, it connects to the mining pool server, the hash rate speed is fine.  Why does Claymore not recognize the wallet address I have entered in the .bat file?  What is wrong?

The wallet address is used with EWBF for my Nvidia card and it works fine with that miner.

This is what Claymore displays after I run the .bat file:

C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Desktop\Claymore Miner v12.6>ZecMiner64.exe   -zpool pool.com:5555  -zwal wallet address.worker  -zpsw z  -ftime 1  -i 6  -tt 75  -allpools 1
UNKNOWN OPTION wallet address.worker

I am using bfgminer with Windows 10 for some gpu cards.  When I begin with opening the .bat file bfgminer says "Failed to resolve to host" and it will not begin running the miner.  What is wrong?

This is what bfgminer displays when I run the .bat file:

C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Desktop\bfgminer>bfgminer-rpc.exe  -o http://654.3.2.1:5555  -u username -p password  --generate-to wallet address  -S opencl:auto

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Takeover of this coin on: September 06, 2017, 07:25:40 PM
I'd like to see a takeover of this coin by a member of the community.

The person that takes it over can consider an option to re-issue the coin with 100 million coins in the coin supply, organize a coin exchange of 7 coins for 1 coin currently held by miners and stakeholders, and put aside a pre-mine of the coin for yourself of up to five million coins as an incentive for you to continue as a market maker with this coin.

This coin should currently be heading in the direction of trading with a market cap of a hundred thousand or higher.

The current market maker has abandoned his responsibilities as a market maker.
