1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: February 05, 2018, 12:54:20 AM
When you are 18 and above any age gap is fine. Then it's just a question of maturity. If you're 40 and dating a 20 year old that usually is an indicator of the 40 year old maturity level. I think anything greater than a 10  year age gap puts a strain on a relationship. Statistics also reflect this.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: February 05, 2018, 12:40:37 AM
I think rape is honestly worse than murder. Rape should have a death sentence.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should I donate to charity? on: February 03, 2018, 02:20:14 AM
I think donating is always great. However a lot of these giant charities are corrupt and you have no idea where the money is going. Donate it locally and directly to local organizations. That way you can see exactly where your money is going.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump Calls Haiti and Africa "shithole" countries. on: February 03, 2018, 01:44:31 AM
I assume it's racist since it's coming from him. He's said way too many racist things in the past.

6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SpaceX and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: January 29, 2018, 12:09:29 AM
Elon Musk definitely knows how hostile the conditions on Mars is. He's said before that they would somehow have to find a way to heat up the planet. It's definitely not realistic anytime soon or maybe even in the next century but who knows.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will bitcoin continue to grow? and it is worth to invest in this currency? on: January 10, 2018, 05:06:30 PM
I would agree with a previous post. Don't invest money that you are not ok with losing. Crypto is risky. Who knows what will happen in the long term? It most likely will go up.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: January 10, 2018, 04:52:21 PM
You should if you know what you want to do and it requires a degree or if it is affordably. I got a scholarship so my college was free and I went.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2018 Resolution on: January 10, 2018, 04:40:36 AM
My goals are to eat healthy and to spend more time enjoying life. This means reading more, watching more movies, and doing more fun outdoor activities.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to develop a strong character? on: January 10, 2018, 04:29:33 AM
Keep putting yourself in situations that test yourself and testing your comfort zone. No one is going to be great at something they are inexperienced at.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite books ? on: January 10, 2018, 03:24:54 AM
House of Scorpion is still my favorite since childhood. Maybe it's cause of nostalgia though.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self? on: January 10, 2018, 01:56:17 AM
Grin All the answers are pretty much buy bitcoin. Sammmmee. Could be retired right now. Oh well. Honestly, to be more reckless. At 18, you have no responsibilities and I should have had more fun then.

16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: January 10, 2018, 12:11:42 AM
Yes! I am in favor. I don't know why people would be against it especially when it has no effect on them.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: January 09, 2018, 11:02:04 PM
It really depends. Is this situational depression that has a cause that can be identified? If so, try to change the situation. However if it a neurochemical imbalance that you were just predisposed to, it's probably good to see a doctor. Either way she should see a professional if she can to talk about and address the issues. It will help her realize she is not alone and to talk about her issues in a safe judgement free zone.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: January 09, 2018, 10:43:12 PM
They most likely left in order to provide their children with better lives by earning more in this country. If they can send money back that would have significant impact on their child's future, I think is a good decision. Plenty of parents live years away from their children working jobs in another area to provide for their family. I realize money is not everything, but it is incredibly important to happiness. Without money, it is really hard to be happy. Not being sure of how you're going to pay rent or eat will definitely stress someone, out. Money to me right now is more important than even passion. I want to chase money while I am still young.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cant Sleep :( on: January 09, 2018, 09:38:31 PM
Are you stressed out? Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? Or do you maybe have insomnia? I think if it may be one of those reasons, it is best to see your doctor? If you would like to try to improve that on your own, practice sleep hygiene and a healthy lifestyle.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best life lesson you learned on: January 09, 2018, 06:47:23 AM
Confidence is the key to success. Perfectionism is rooted in shame and will oftentimes hold you back. Take risks or you will regret it later in life. These are some of the lessons I have learned. I don't know now if I wouldn't repeat these mistakes though, but at least I have acknowledged the lessons.
