Basically all the people who have the D3 miner are causing the difficulty to exponentially rise while the market demand remains the same if not worse.
Basic supply and demand as of now the dash market is being flooded!
I hope you did t pay above msrp for your miners as of this response a single D3 with power cost of $0.12/KWH is earning $600/mo profit and that is dropping by $5-$10 per day, in about a month the D3 might make half that if the difficulty level continues to follow the current trend!
Thank you, I know that, recently, new batches arrived to their destinations and new machines have been connected, however that would explain why difficulty goes up, but why does it go down also some days. I was thinking maybe Bitmain has 20-30K machines connected that they can hook up or disconnect as they feel pertinent. As for the electricity, I pay less that $3 / month with 25 machines currently connected, so it is not an issue.  Thanks |

Can someone explain the reason the Dash price is going down and the mining difficulty is varying so much. earlier today was at 6.9 million and right now it is at 4.4 million.
i am concerned as I have ordered several D3s for mid November.

I really don't understand why we are bitching about crypto crane and other resellers buying and selling products for multiple pages now... They are free to do what they want and as long as they DO NOT lie about the product's features it's all alright. If CC would tell a customer the D3 got 25GH it would be false advertisement. If he (as far as I remember) advertises it with 15 and in real life, it shows up with 17.5 it is not illegal and also the customer will be happy. If this kid bought a miner based on the profitability at the time of purchase because CC linked a screenshot from whattomine on his page that's not misleading someone or fleecing someone into buying.... That person who is able to spend 8k+ on anything can be held accountable if it turns sour. I passed the first and second batch of L3+ because I needed to do homework first. It sounded too good too be true to buy something for 2k and after 1 year you get 50k back... If a D3 "brings" in 200 bucks a day based on the calculation of the time of the first batch going online you should question that and research. I am sure the person that is able to spend so much money should be able to make a google search. Makes me wonder how people make their money in the first place  You all act like you buy these miners to practice a hobby or like you mine because you want to be part of a secret and super cool club no one else is in  Anyway, my 2 cents and maybe we can come back to the actual product and stop bitching  Well said. Reselling is not a felony... Quit the drama, nothing illegal about reselling even if it is for 20.000 Dollars. Each and every one of you that are buying from Bitmain directly now days know that when you started in the crypto world you prolly made a lot of mistakes, so new miners feel more comfortable buying from a reseller, things are much less complicated... Amazon lets you distinguish scams from real sellers, so buying from CC is a safe choice for those who just dont know what manufacturer is good and which is not... so CC / resellers might be the safer choice for newbies.. |

sure thing...back on track, managed to get another unit D3 on this release. luck, 10%....persistence 90%(lol)
I had to get to that captcha part 9 times total to buy 3 times.. Insane, Trick is, if captcha takes longer than 30 seconds, go back to shopping cart and start the order again. I used google Chrome with ´decent´internet connection, 25 Mb/s (venezuela) so I assume faster connections in other countries might have an slight better chance. Ok so for the next time I order, when you say "start the order again" do you remember if you used the back button to get back to your car, or did you click "return to cart" on the submit page, or did you go back to shop.bitmain.com and click on your cart symbol? I realize this may seem like a dumb pointless question but there is a method to my madness lol. Whatever you did worked so I'm going to it that way. Return to cart, 100% sure. good luck |

Last night's batch was the first time that I could not get a purchase to go through due to the crazy traffic. Now I'm looking into ways to automate purchases programatically. I'm guessing the big players are already doing this.

I strongly agree that the benefits of Antminer D3 will not approach the current profit once they are shipped. The question why miners in China can make money from the same equipment and prices?
Nearly free power? In which case the time to ROI becomes less relevant and you can focus on world domination instead. GUYS BITMAIN is selling again. GO fast. it is 5.21 am EST right now |

It just sucks that freaking bitcoin will not stay consistent right now. On the current path, I'm guessing it'll go back down to 3800. Luckily for me, I already have 13 D3's coming in beginning of November. Hopefully they can advance shipment Ah...I was on that train in got some L3's and on April fools day (april 1st) announced a 6 buck floor on LTC price thus justifying my 12-14 month ROI and 1/4 off equip deduction in real money off taxes for equip that year. the price went to 50 bucks so yeah, what you say could happen...I'm saying with the amount of units for x11 out in the world (or coming) it kinda MUST happen imho for ROI.... not a slam....just saying..longer odds then normal with the volume of equip hitting the world from 5 different manufacturers.... I completely understand lol. You may actually be 100% correct, I think my 13 will do me for now. I think we all may of have dodged a bullet with them releasing 20k and they sold out in 2 hours. its crazy stupid. Its even stupider that we couldn't even get in to get any. It's been a solid 45 mins and it seems like the site is calming down. remember also bigger folk have different needs..due to the above price pump on ltc and my mining I'm at the 50% tax rate (if I can't find replacement equipment to nullify that) thus I can give 50% to the tax man (fed/state/etc) or I can take that 50% apply it to equip ..get an additional this year 100% off gross equip deduction (equiv to 25% off real $$$ I'm gonna have to pay the tax man this year) and thus only really be in danger on 25% thus even if I only get 25% back on the equipment...I'm more or less even on having to pay the tax man..its a wash thus why everyone and his brother imho is out grabbing equip....there are tax consequences of 4.15 LTC to 50 buck LTC anyway, it is a theory thus my risk vs reward is 25% more risk on equip vs just paying the tax man...I'll take them odds at D3's and x11 difficulty...this may be suspect even with this angle imho...maybe same suspect action for L3+'s in the future might be better to give the tax man 1/2 my wad this year and have 1/2 the wad for equip in 2018....rather than buy dubious equipment this year so anyway, again imho...why it got so damn weird for getting equip at the end of this year I am so pissed at Bitcoin right now. Not only that I got stuck 6 times, yes 6 times in two different computer at the freaking Captch math and could not buy 1 single machine, BUT ALSO, I got a L3+ in July and 3 out of 4 Hash boards do not work , I tried everything, restarting, factory reset, updated Firmware, changes the power suppply, and NOTHING, so machine is dead and I guess I will have so send the entire machine to China because most likely the 4th hash board will eventually dies as well. But again, whom else can I buy from... Now they make it impossible to buy, I sill love their miners but damn, they are going backwards here instead of improving. if anyone knows one other thing I can do to my faulty L3 before shipping back to China, please do tell. Also, if anyone here got lucky buying D3s tonight, please tell me how you manages to get through the math captcha part. I have a Macbook pro, good internet and used Chrome. Ya mi L3+ tiene tres tarjetas malas en total. NO entiendo como pueden haberse danado todas a la vez, es increible. Ahora mandarles 3 hash borads a los chinos para que me los devuelvan algun dia... que ladilla vale... Alguna recomendacion. Ya se instalo ultimo Firmware y reinicie de fabrica.

Es un lástima pero tendrás que contactar con Bitmain, el problema es que tendrás que enviar el equipo o siguiendo las instrucciones desmontar la placa y enviarla y seguro que esto no es rápido además del coste que tiene.
Yo he tenido algún que otro problema del mismo estilo con S7 y al final aunque algunas veces al reiniciar se arreglaba al poco volvian a fallar y me toco enviar...

by November, I'll be extremely surprised if it isnt in the 5-6 mil range. it'll be +18 mil with the d3s. It seems each chart shows something different. I just check coinwarz's it is at 750k, Bitinfocharts shows it at 805k... |
