Hi Patrike,

we filled the field additional operating cost (per day) with 1 Euro (in Options/Profitability) but the profit per day/month is not changing - no matter what value we use?!

Dear Patrike,

we have some DR5-Miners running - but we cannot choose Decred and don't get any turnover?
is there something wrong with the statistic Providers?
in the options-coins Decred is shown?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Decred should be listed in Awesome Miner by default. Isn't it listed in the Coins tab?

Is it a correct understanding that Decred is listed in the Options dialog, Coins section? Is it also listed in the Coins tab of the main windows?

Please go to the Options dialog, Algorithms section and make sure "Decred" is enabled.

it was not enabled in the Algorithms section - thank you - that helped...

Hi Patrike,

we are running the Avalon 1246-87T - the temperature in the web-surface of the miner shows us a Miner Temperature of abou 66 degree celsius - AM shows us between 90 and 100 degrees?!

do you have an idea?

is the Awesome-Miner Firmware also working for the S9K-Version?

Hi Patrik,

is there an option how one can configure API access for WhatsMiner?

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf and thanks for your question.

The only way to enable the API for Whatsminer is to use their WhatsminerTool. I've been in contact with Whatsminer about letting Awesome Miner doing on its own, but that isn't possible. Please see the instructions here:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000162330-whatsminer-api-access

In the near future, we will also provide an optimized custom Whatsminer firmware, similar to what we provide for Antminers today.

Hi Patrik,

thank you - i did everything as suggested in the link - but if i want to configure the API access in WhatsMiner, i always get the status: Connection failure

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Thanks for the update. Please note this WhatsminerTool is far from user friendly and predictable in terms of behavior.
- Do you see general monitoring information of your Whatsminer using the WhatsminerTool?
- Are you running a recent firmware version on your Whatsminers?

Hi Patrik,

yes i did the firmware upgrade: 200210325.22.REL and since then, AwsomeMiner reports high temperatures for the ASIC-Chips - but in the WhatsminerTool everything looks good ...

i want to ask you again about the AM-Firmware: is the Firmware for the S17e and T17e still in Development? and are there Plans for the S19 and S19Pro?!

are you still working on the Firmware for S17e and T17e? if yes: do you have an idea when they will be released?

Hi Patrike,

we have now another problem in the current version.

in the pool properties under Advanced we entered a Profit factor (for some Pools) of - for example 0,49 - but this factor is now not effective anymore?! if we change to 1 nothing happens?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Please select this miner in the list of miners and click on the Pools tab at the bottom of the screen. Do you see the pool description, as defined in Awesome Miner, here? Or only the Pool URL?

An ASIC miner is reporting a pool URL and worker name and Awesome Miner is trying to match this with the pool you have defined in Awesome Miner. If the URL and worker name are the same, it's a match. Once matched, Awesome Miner can apply Profit Factors defined on the pool.

Thanks!

Hi Patrike,

the pool description is exactly matching with the AM-Pool
we also checked the ignore the miner property: add to worker name in the Advanced definition of the pool
but still no success...

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Can you please send me the API report for this miner (toolbar: Tools -> API Report) together with your Awesome Miner configuration file (%appdata%\AwesomeMiner\ConfigData.xml)? I would need to review the complete scenario in order to find out what causing the problem. Please send these details via mail (or Contact Us on the web site).

I assume it's the Revenue/Profit display in the miner list that doesn't take the Profit Factor into consideration correctly?

Thanks!

Hi Patrike,

i just sent you the files...

Hi Patrike,

we installed the AM-Firmware for the S17+ - everything fine except 1 thing:
we set Target chip temperature to 80 (°C) but the Fan's run almost full speed and don't let the temperature going over 75...

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Can you please increase "Disable chains at CHIP temperature" (overheat feature) from the default 90 to 93 C for example. This will make the overheat temperature compared to the Target chip temperature more than 10 C and the fans will behave like you want.

Hi Patrike,

thank you - that worked!

we have many z11 running - with the newest Firmware (from June 28th) the miner is reporting a 1000 times profit in AM - in the miner status display (WEB) everything seems right?!

Hi Patrik,

we have a problem with profit-switching with the new stratum from nicehash: stratum+tcp_//sha256asicboost_eu_nicehash_com:3368
if we force a miner to use the pool with this configuration, the miner makes 0.00051120 BTC / 24h regarding nicehash
but in AM the profit-switching shows 0 BTC and so a giant loss?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,
Is the scenario that you have an entry for Nicehash Asicboost in the Options dialog, Online Services section, that looks something like this?
Algorithm: SHA-256
URL-base: nicehash.com:3368
Algorithm URL part: sha256asicboost
API Identifier: 35

Hi Patrik,

no - should i?
we have the problem with S9...

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,
Please try to add a new entry like above and let me know if the profit calculations works better.

Hi Patrik,

yes - thank you that helped immediatly...
