Always interesting to see what others think of various altcoins, even if others disagree. At end of the day the only value a lot of the current coins has is what people think of them.
Exactly the more popular the coin gets the higher its market price. Most people invest on certain altcoins not because they find it useful but because they are popular, that's why in the market you can see a lot of overpriced altcoins. What are the most overvalued ones you see? |

I just want to add another one to the Buy list. Dubaicoin (DBIX): nice ungoing project, strongly undervalued in this moment, hodl for 3-6 months and then tip me a beer  I will take a look at this. If I buy and hodl for 6 months and it rises. I will be back here with a lot of beer. |

So many tokens, yet limited exchanges. No point buying unless you are willing to be stuck with them for a while.
What do you mean? I would like your opinion in storage coins, you don't seem to have any but there are a few in this niche. Siacoin Storj Burst coin Maidsafe (does more than storage but I think it's relevant) Maidsafe is on my 'buy right now' list. I think its a winner. The other three I know nothing about. I will add them to my next batch of coins to research this week. Thanks for the tips. |

What do you mean? I would like your opinion in storage coins, you don't seem to have any but there are a few in this niche. DO MORE RESEARCH THIS LIST IS SCARY
I glanced at it for 5 seconds and had to look away from the glaring errors and double standards.
No offence im sure you are not intending on misleading people but you need to put in a LOT more historical research before making such a list.
Drop some knowledge fam! Could be good. Small atm and clearly a solid but again small community. But for me there's a few hurdles they need to overcome. They need more devs. |

I am not an experienced investor. I held Bitcoin for a little bit and have sold a lot to take the plunge into altcoins.
But there are just so many. So I have researched at a brief level all the coins that caught my eye. 58 in total. I have summarised them as a one liner and would like your feedback as to what you agree or disagree with. Don't be offended if I have not been favourable to your darlings, like I said. I am going off what i found and my own experience. It was a bit of fun after all.
That said correct me if I am wrong and back me if I seem to have got a coin right.
Nimiq No actual project yet. Already at $1 and miners moaning that it isnt worth the time
There is no actual mining on this because the mainnet starts in December, so.. (test)miners couldn't moaning on anything..  1 NIM equals 10 NET (which is tradable now) and now is something about $10 Is this a coin you would recommend me re reading up on. Looks like I missed a key point there. Whats the potential for it's use? |

No I am not some sort of whale. I just did it to seperate out those where I can build a small portfolio. |

AEON Clean coin no premine, no ICO, originally a Monero devs testing bed. Buy to hold and see if they develop into a full time solid project
Bitbay Solid little coin. Buy soon while cheap Dash A lot of potential as the leading 3rd gen coin
Dalecoin Tiny market cap. Little risk. Wait until it comes on an exchange I have
Decred Good developers, keep an eye on this to increase stake
Diamond Market cap very low, hard working Devs. Buy this
Etherum Will be the market leader, invest here
Factom Buy More. Solid fundementals and backing. Potential expansion to India and China
Golem Buy more. Great idea, well executed so far.
IOTA Looks to be a solid coin and still cheap at the moment. Buy soon.
Maidsafe Updates coming this month. Grab some and see the outcome.
Modum Pharma coin. Love the idea. Product already coming together. Small ICO investment, monitor
Moreno Behind Dash but cheaper and has the similar potential
NavCoin Buy More. Great potential. Very active Dev team.
NEM Long Term Winner
NEO Backed by China, great platform. Missed the boat on the rise, but a good long term investment.
Qtum Buy ASAP. Not muhc hype yet and a very active dev team
Radium Buy ASAP. Tiny market cap, tiny supply. Will go through the roof with good development
Red Pulse Big potential. ICO happening soon
Ripple Buy more for long term. This is a long term thing and possible mainstream
Syscoin Coin with good potential and support. Due for a decent rise soon due to 2 mid september updates coming
TenX Similar to Monaco but with a closer product. Not valued well at the moment. Buy when funds are free
Verge Think this has a big future. Buy Now.
Monitor
0x Not a lot of info around. Possible one for the long term. Monitor.
Civic Look to sell, can't see much of a future in this
DeepOnion Strong community spirit. Recover investment, then hodl
Florin Old coin tthat finally has some sort of product to help move the coin value up
Lisk Will only succeed long term if the Lisk tech is taken up. At the moment it is just words. Monitor
Metal No info on this. Backed by reputable people. Hold it.
Monaco Great idea but slipping away at the moment. Monitor to sell.
NXT Good but some grey area around a 2nd ICO linked to NXT
Oxy Invested in ICO. Awaiting coins in October
Rise This has spiked massively due to a bunch of burned coins. Better projects out there
Stellar Don't buy more. See how it goes. Something out of place but can't put finger on it.
Stratis Hold for future, just slow to get going atm and missing deadlines. But what they produce is good.
Viacoin Developers very active. Missed the initial boat but with good product it will multiply very soon
Waves Decent growth, need to read more. Monitor this.
Xtrabytes Tiny market cap. Little risk. Wait until it comes on an exchange I have
Zcash Don't know much about this. Looks good but not much talk going on
Zcoin Small community but decent future. One to hodl.
Don't Buy
Archain Just not feeling it after looking through everything. Monitor to see if wrong
BAT A lot of hype not a lot of substence. Overvalued at the moment. Can't see this going anywhere. Too many coins in too few wallets.
Bitconnect Dug a bit. Looks like a big scam. Don't go near this. Money has and can be made but chances of being a bag holder are high
Bitdice Great idea however… anon team, not on any major exchanges. Wallet is on the casino (so it can be spent). Low return from ETH investment. Will revisit this soon.
Bytecoin Don't buy this again. Originally a scam coin kept going by the community. Has a very small potential to be worth anything. Community is a bunch of trolls. A lot of coins missing and large blockchain issues.
Counterparty Very meh about this. Has consistently underperformed and community isn't as active as I'd hope.
Digibyte Very cheap coin. Potential to go to the moon but more than likely just a pump and dump coin. Solo dev trying to make it a reputable coin but chances are no as too many bagholders at the moment to see this rise.
EOS Do not buy. Stinks of scam. No product yet and have taken nearly $200m from investors.
Expanse Don't buy. Fork of Etherum but without the dedicated team. The Devs hold most of the coins in cold storage and can ruin the price when needed. A risky pump & dumop
Humaniq Ambitous project with deadlines being missed. Stay away for now. Better options out there
Kyber Currently massively overvalued considering there is no product yet and a very hard implementation ahead. Monitor every couple of months, do not buy until a working product is on the horizon
Looq Nope. Bonuses are unsustainable. People claiming they got a lot less than they should have. Devs not answering questions.

OmsieGo A lot of social media hype no actual project just yet and overvalued at $10. Coin is not really needed.

Steem Comes across as a big scam. Where whales pat each other on the back. One person who was a miner and a contributer and called scam. Expect a bubble to burst.

I think a lot of people who cashed out early have invested in other and are holding which is contributing to the stable-ish prices... to an extent.
