1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сryptocurrency Phobia - new social phenomenon on: January 08, 2018, 06:19:46 AM
for me it is a natural reaction of anyone for encountering such technology nowadays.
even i have the same reaction before, i did not accept cryptocurrency instantly.
but instead i did some of my own research first in order to protect myself from all risk.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Message to Satoshi, please dump your 1million bitcoins on: January 08, 2018, 06:07:04 AM
if what you are trying to imply is true that satoshi still has a stack of million bitcoin's.
then i believe enticing him to sell this will cause more disadvantage rather than benefits.
aside from totally disrupting the market price - other people may also lose trust with bitcoin and make them leave it for good.
.
for me it will be better if we will leave it the way it is.
if satoshi was able to hold it until this time then it only means that he can hold it for a longer time.
we don't have to be afraid of what he is hodling because i am confident that he knows what he has to do with it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 05:53:18 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

for me it is only normal people to feel some reservations on new things that comes into them.
and it is advisable for them to do so since there are a lot of people coming out right now that will convince you to invest on something you really know nothing about.
if they are against it then do all necessary things to make them accept it.
teach them what it really is - do not just simply convince them to believe in you.
show them facts to believe in and you will see that they an one day change their perception about it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering on: January 08, 2018, 05:44:08 AM
Are blockchain-based transactions easy for money laundering?

blockchain technology can really be used in money laundering.
since it provides users an anonymous way of doing their transactions and governments as of now doesn't have the capability to trace.
so if anyone does use it for laundering then it could be used.
but i would advise you not to do it though.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A well-known investor believes that Bitcoin will go up on: January 08, 2018, 05:21:15 AM
as the day goes by more and more people are coming in to invest with bitcoin or some altcoins.
be it a common people or well-known ones.
and every new investors is a very welcome news for us because it only proves that the popularity of bitcoin is now becoming more widespread.
hopefully the day will come wherein the majority of the world's population will be engaged with cryptocurrency too.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 was the worst year ever for Bitcoin, hear from the creator of Dogecoin on: January 08, 2018, 05:09:30 AM
everyone is entitled with their own perspective with regards to the status of bitcoin last year.
as for me i am very thankful on the events that took placed since i earned a lot during the run.
but if we will look to broader perspective i guess there is also a negative effect to what happened last year.
it will be more beneficial to more cryptocurrency investors and would-be investors if the incline is not that steep.
yes, there are those who gained a lot last year but we can also be sure that a lot of people also lose a lot.
especially the newcomers.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: January 08, 2018, 05:04:19 AM
not yet and i don't have any plan of doing it.
it will also be best to advise your friends or relative not to do it.
despite the possibility of earning huge with bitcoin i still don't think it is worthy for you to borrow money in order to invest with bitcoin.
spending what you can freely spend/afford to lose.
remember if you ever lose on your investment in bitcoin it will be harder for you to pay your debts.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: January 08, 2018, 04:47:14 AM
Bitcoin is a virtual currency that has no physical form, in contrast to real money that has a physical form such as coins and banknotes. Bitcoin currency can not be faked while real money can be faked.

what i agree most about this is when you said that bitcoin cannot be faked unlike fiat.
added to that no one can really stop federal reserves from printing more paper money that will result to inflation.
as compared to the limited numbers of cryptocurrency which will only make it's buying power higher as time goes on.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin hit $20,000 on: January 08, 2018, 04:38:53 AM
we all know that no one can really guess when will this happen.
all we can do right now is be hopeful that it will surpass it's ATH in the future.
but as far as i can see there is a great possibility that it will happen within a 2 month period.
though there will be a slower incline right now as compared to the incline we experienced last year.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 08, 2018, 04:26:34 AM
this is indeed a sad story.
hopefully this will also serve as a reminder to everyone to keep their wallet.dat and private keys safe.
let us always remember that we cannot blame anyone for this tragic event from happening.
it is only as that can guarantee the safety of our coins.
.
i am also hopeful that this won't ever happen to anyone again.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 08, 2018, 04:15:23 AM
as of now with the trend that we are experiencing in cryptocurrency i don't believe that bitcoin could make bank disappear in the near future.
there is a possibility though but it may not happen in our lifetime.
in order for banks to disappear there must be a huge number of people using cryptocurrency as their only means of doing transactions.
but as of now we are not seeing it yet therefore banks will still remain for a long time.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: January 08, 2018, 04:08:44 AM
of course it does.
let us be aware that not all people coming in for bitcoin is a member of forums such as this or has a friend that is engaged with cryptocurrency.
that is why the most probable way for the of hearing or reading about bitcoin is through social media sites.
this is also the reason that it is very important for us to watch what we are posting in this sites so that we will be having a greater chance of convincing others to join us.
13  Other / Meta / PURPOSE OF META SECTION on: January 08, 2018, 04:02:18 AM
as a newbie i like to explore the different sections on these forum.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: January 08, 2018, 03:55:06 AM
I have opportunity in overseas job around 1000 usd. but my mind now not in a stable manner.

please guide me whats the best option doing crypto currency on the home or move to the job overseas?

look at it on a way that will best benefit you.
ask yourself - will you earn greater in crytpocurrency as compared to the salary on the job offer you have.
on what way are you earning with cryptocurrency - is it on mining, trading or signature campaigns.
because there are ways to continue your cryptocurrency works while having a job.
.
but on the end of all of these.
the final decision would still rest upon you.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 03:43:09 AM
continuous education would be the best way to deal with it.
it will be no used if we will forced to convince them to believe in bitcoin the way we believe on it.
that is why by persevering on teaching them we will be having a greater chance of being able to make them see the potential of bitcoin one day.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 08, 2018, 03:36:33 AM
for me i wouldn't say that bitcoin is already dead.
there are a lot of people who have already put their trust on it.
and most of the newcomers nowadays in cryptocurrency had their eyes only in bitcoin.
so it will not be impossible that one day we will again be seeing a rise for it.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 08, 2018, 03:29:46 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

of course it is.
investing with bitcoin is very profitable but it will never be advisable to turn all your money into it.
bitcoin's price is still very volatile and no one really knows what could happen the next day.
therefore it will always be better to leave some of your fiat for emergency purposes.
.
although one day i dream of living in a world where cryptocurrency is the main means of transaction.
but as of now we are still far from it yet.
18  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Manila: any Bitcoin centres or meetups? on: January 08, 2018, 03:20:50 AM
Thank you Rappydoo. But how about Bitcoin centres where people can buy or sell BTC either at the counter or at a BTC ATM? Is there anything like that? Other countries have that in South East Asia.

Bitcoin ATM
or BTM:

.
P.S.
meron din bng ganito sa Mindanao?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: January 08, 2018, 03:03:40 AM
Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. That is why Bitcoin among all Habetahale to spread the knowledge of the second day will increase the demand for Bitcoin.

OP seems confusing.
you must first realize what is the meaning of being employed.
no matter how much a person earns through bitcoin the fact still remains that if he doesn't any work then we can still call him as unemployed.
maybe the topic should be around this discussion "EARNING WITH BITCOIN DESPITE BEING UNEMPLOYED"
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 08, 2018, 02:50:50 AM
for me if we would really want to extend our help to the poor and needy through our earnings in bitcoin then let us do it in a way that they can benefit from it instantly.
why would we share bitcoins to them instead of sharing fiat directly.
let us remember that they are poor and needy therefore it will also be highly probable that they will not be having any access to the technology in order to benefit from bitcoins.
donate fiat to them accompanied by education about cryptocurrency instead of making it insignificant for them.
