How important is RAM quantity when selecting a video card for mining?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain has released two GPU miner models: G1 and G2 on: September 12, 2017, 06:00:35 PM
Prices are 18700 CNY and 19700 CNY for the G1 and G2, respectively.   That translates to $2862.43 and $3015.51.

I just hope they make enough.

Check your data cable.  It should go top to bottom, or bottom to top.  Not straight across.  If that is not the issue, then I'm sorry, but I do not know.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can we use Antminer L3+ for Dash Mining? on: September 07, 2017, 05:28:46 AM
Not possible.  They run different algorithms.

I already knew that website. When calculating profitability, does it also include the probability of finding blocks and their reward?

Thank's

I would like to know this as well.

Old thread from when they've posted here in the past.

Their press release said that they would have 1020 units for preorder in 2014.   Pretty sure this is a scam.

To clarify: That was version 1 at 1Gh/s.   Same response, though.

whats colo ?

Colocation service.   You send your machine to them, and they host for you, but you control the machine. (If I am correct.  Still learning)

Outlet questions:

Based on earlier comments in this thread (I'm reading through the entire thing, though I'm not quite half finished at the moment), I plan to hire someone to put in 240v outlets.  I haven't yet decided what type of plug to use, or how many outlets to wire.  Assuming amperage is dealt with, what type of outlet and what ratio of outlets to PSUs do you recommend?

I'm wondering if power strips are as hard to find/expensive when dealing with this amount of power as are surge protectors, which I got the impression people don't use much with antminers, and I might need one outlet per PSU.  And I want to plan/shop around what cords I'm going to get to go with the PSUs based on what outlet I install.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Smiley

This is just me, but I think my way of doing this makes sense.  I figured out what PDU (Power Distribution Unit) I wanted to go with, and I am having my outlet done to match it.   I'm going with a NEMA L6-30P twist lock plug outlet for a Cyberpower PDU30BHVT8R, which will give me 8 outlets, and 30 Amps at 200/230.

I believe Burstcoin uses HDD space.   I'm not certain how profitable it is.
