Sending "value" directly peer to peer over the internet (not using a 3rd party like Paypal), when the only thing of real world value your computer can send directly to a peer's computer is a bit of voltage in the form of ones and zeros, sure does seem like a Ponzi scheme at first glance. Turns out that's really not the case, if you have the wisdom of Satoshi....

If you look at https://coinmarketcap.com/ the second position in the world of cryptocurrency is Ethereum not a Ripple. In my mind, Ethereum is proper in the second place be compared in Ripple. I like both altcoins, because I'm sure by the next months have the potential price will be high.

But in some rumours what I know, Ripple is a bank, not a real cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has a decentralized system while the Bank has a centralized system. Well, I just support Ethereum for the second top in the world of cryptocurrency. But for an investment, I choose both.

you can search for some hardware wallets if you are not tech savvy or don't want to bother learning how tos and if you are willing to pay. things such as Trezor or Ledger nano would work.

Ethereum or Litecoin would probably take the place of bitcoin. If bitcoin were to die tomorrow, it would probably drag down the altcoins with it as well, but if you give altcoins some time until they can establish themselves, they wouldn't be harmed in my opinion. An altcoin may eventually take the place of btc as the best crypto as well, especially considering the scalability issues that btc might face in the near future

Firstly, I advise you to improve your english writing skills since it was a bit difficult to understand what you were trying to convey due to your bad grammar. Coming to your question, you don't need to force bitcoin and the crypto market down anyone's throats. If they feel pessimistic about bitcoin and the crypto market, that is their opinion and there is nothing much we can do about it. As bitcoin grows more and more popular with time, your friends might acknowledge the truth which is that bitcoin is the future of payment processors and is revolutionizing the way we pay for services.

There are no banks who accept bitcoin, but with the majority of banks you can withdraw money to an exchange and buy bitcoin.
I use kraken and when i want to buy bitcoins i just iniatiate a SEPA transfer and voila i can buy bitcoin.
