1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: August 27, 2018, 09:09:41 AM
Please tell Rijk thanks for this decision. Rijk is obviously a smart person and wouldn't act spontaneously without support from the community. I give credit where credit is due.

This a good start, I will buy 0.1btc worth tonight.

Now I also get it why he is getting more opened up to media and marketing. He needs Gulden to pump before April 2019!

Where do you see this? I will buy more coins on bittrex if he is serious about marketing.

So I contacted Litebit regarding their Gulden wallet being in maintenance for a few days now, their reply in Dutch:

Quote

In English: they are having issues regarding integrating it with their own systems and are in close contact with the Gulden development team to find a solution. No indication regarding when it will be back up again.

Is this the reason they have not done any marketing?

is your low iq the reason you can only think about one thing?

You guys on slack live in a bubble.

Gosh, why people are talking so much about an increase in 2 cents? It's so obvious that Gulden will go up 30+ cents in a matter of months.

Once the word is spread, there's no holding back this time.

People can FUD all they want, in the end only the *real* valuable coins like Gulden will survive and increase marketcap.

It's just like I said, buy Gulden, wait for months, get rich, it *is* THAT SIMPLE! Smiley  Wink

The entire community on slack needs to be replaced by rich people who can take Gulden to new levels and open up more opportunities for the coin.

I hear a guy called ping pretend to buy Gulden but every time he pretend to buy he is selling. He must think people are dumb.

For anyone planning to buy Gulden in the next few weeks, be warned we in a bear market. It could take 2 years to see a reversal in the prices, so only buy with what you can afford to lose. The trolls will vanish as they also sell at a major loss and this forum will become a dead zone, most of the posts here are out of anger because the trolls have lost A LOT of money.

I am angry and I sold most of my Gulden already.   Cry

Aaargh! I've been looking for that post as well! TNX!

Ok, traced it back to the motherload:

http://www.guldenchain.com/address/GgtaZuo1zKYXhitiLgw5fWjeEXr3JpHvU3

That should be your best starting point.

This would be the most promising chain:

Going to take a long time to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Price is too low for anyone to care but good luck finding the balance if any left.

2.0.0.9 is now available as a recommended update at https://github.com/Gulden/gulden-official/releases/

These devs do output a lot of work. I will be honest, if I was a talented developer I would never be able to put my blood into this without good marketing behind me. I can at least respect the developers for sticking with Gulden when there is no marketing of their work.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 26, 2018, 09:32:16 AM
Anyone an idea when Litebit takes Gulden out of "wallet maintenance" mode? Been a few days now.

Almost time to pay the rent?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 24, 2018, 01:47:00 PM
Is no marketing the reason for the ranking crash on coinmarketcap?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 19, 2018, 04:15:06 AM
A new article from Malcolm about how witnessing works:

https://medium.com/@MacLeod_MJ_za/beginners-guide-to-witnessing-11253afd645d

Malcolm is a unknown super hero in the crypto world. Gulden is a unknown coin in the crypto world. Gulden innovative development is unknown in the crypto world. Coins that have no more active development teams have a higher marketcap.

Why no marketing ?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 16, 2018, 07:54:32 PM
Is Rijk going to market this update or is this a underground movement ?
What about changing the name to ingroupcoin .
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 04, 2018, 07:04:25 AM
wouldn't it be better if the crew did advertising and cognizance on stepping into high volume exchanges in place of high-quality improvement? The pinnacle 2 hundred cash on coinmarketcap reveals that doing no improvement but promoting their blockchain to uneducated hundreds reaps within the investments?

At least someone else here gets it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 03, 2018, 05:26:24 AM
That was me on Bittrex, Nocks was someone else as I don't trade on it. I decided to print the top 100 on coinmarketcap , close my eyes, spin the paper around and then use my pen and it landed on a coin called gas.

I don't care about the coin or what the purpose is but I made 15% profit in the last 24hrs and sold. I will get back into Gulden at 0.05 when it falls to that.

If you sold it vs BTC then you did a good job moneywise.

Maybe invest your profits in Gulden again so when it explodes you do not miss the boat ....

I do not think it falls back @ 0.05 but time will tell .  Good luck trading !!

I sold too soon, Gas is up 21%. Gas runs on Neos and they running a good promotional campaign they have people excited.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 02, 2018, 08:19:46 PM

I wish I knew beforehand this coin wasn't a scam coin. I sold out in the last 24hrs on the small price rise. I knew after the update if the price wouldn't rise it never will. The truth is only scam coins with marketing fetch a high price. The world is based on lies and not truth. I admire Rijk for his truth but truth and hard work doesn't make anyone rich.
That stopped in the 90s, when CNN and other mainstream media still told the truth.

Why must Gulden be different?

I feel sorry for you m8.  You kept Gulden all the way and now after the update you are going to sell it all?

There was somebody today who sold a lot on Bittrex and Nocks even for 0.055 and now it is allrdy back again @ 0.062 so it cost him or her over 10%  Roll Eyes

I think Gulden will make it in this strange crypto world and i think and hope that a developing coin will win it over a scam coin.

It is not too late to buy some Gulden back Sugaman because it is still much to cheap.  Have one time faith that telling the truth can pay off.....

Everything sold under 0.06 i consider criminal  Grin

Wouldn't it be better if the team did marketing and focus on getting into high volume exchanges instead of great development? The top 200 coins on coinmarketcap reveals that doing no development but promoting their blockchain to uneducated masses reaps in the investments?

Why would other people have to pay for marketing, so you can take profits???

I wouldn't give a rats ass about you gaining profits. If you want profits, get the word out or join some shitty scam coin, bye.

Scams make more profits if you know when to sell. I am holding Gulden for long term but they could learn a thing or two from scammers to promote a proper coin like Gulden. Scammers also have a lot of front money to manipulate the markets and market a coin before they pump the prices.

Nice to see the update is finally there. Please note there is a small bug in it that occurs at install when you update from an old version on windows.  File: key.cpp line 307 . Expression: secp256k1_contextSIGN==NULL
The program requires your pw before you can enter it at boot directly after install. Luckily, if you restart, it is gone. Good luck with Gulden.

Months of postponing because it needed to be tested into perfection... nuff said.

This is why development is bad idea. Rather copy bitcoin or ETH and then add 2 lines of code, change the block times and rewards and market it. Then you don't have bugs that come with large scale development like PoW2 and everyone is getting to rich doing hardly any work. Not saying marketing isn't work but it's not stressful as making changes and you exposing thousands of people to your coin.

With Gulden you relying on word of mouth which is bad. I tell you it's a good coin. You go to Google search and not even cointelegraph has a article about this update.
