1  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: 22-04-2019 the day when something died on bitcointalk on: April 24, 2019, 08:58:00 AM
YOBIT offered the members of the subscription campaign a great reward, exceeding all existing subscription campaigns several times.
But at the same time, YOBIT did not or did not want to control the quality of messages, which led to a spam of forum spam.
These are certainly flaws on the part of YOBIT, but the indiscriminate and unconditional prohibition of this subscription campaign does not do any credit to this forum and is an attempt to fire a cannon on sparrows and of course contradicts the very idea of freedom and decentralization that Satoshi Nakamoto preached.

It is a pity that the hashrate on RandomHash (PascalCoin) algorithms does not grow in the latest versions of the miner, but "two times less switches to dev fee and back - commission mining is now done once per two hours instead of single hour"  Smiley
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash/CuckooCycle miner for AMD/NVIDIA GPUs 15.5.0 on: April 23, 2019, 07:49:05 AM
Bminer 15.5.0 Grin31 mining on stock settings:
2.60 G/s on RTX 2080Ti
1.65 G/s on RTX 2080
1.55 G/s on GTX 1080Ti
0.95 G/s on GTX 1070

Compared to the previous version of Miner 15.4.0, the hash rate by 1080ti has increased by about 5-7% and this is very good!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WildRig Multi 0.15.3.8: AMD miner with multialgo support on: April 22, 2019, 11:42:55 AM
Has anyone tried amd memory tweak with this miner?
I didn’t even try to use this memory tweak because it was when using this miner that I watched the termination of some cards due to memory overclocking.
Everything returned to normal after lowering the acceleration, but with such parameters these cards worked fine on other miners. But in general - an excellent and stable miner, thanks a lot to the developer!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bulls strong enough to end the bear market?? on: April 22, 2019, 11:19:08 AM
It is difficult to predict the direction of the market, but for the whole of 2018, investors are already tired of looking at depreciation and counting losses from investments.
That is why many so favorably perceived bullish sentiment in the market and began to actively invest in promising new projects.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Stablecoins A Necessary Evil? on: April 22, 2019, 11:12:40 AM
In order to successfully track and predict the rates of many altcoins, a binding to any coordinate system is necessary.
Bitcoin is often the starting point.
But the thing is that it often has very high volatility and that is why stable coins are necessary in order to track the fluctuations in the rate of the Bitcoin itself, without resorting to direct binding of cryptocurrency to FIAT.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Cryptocurrencies Should I buy? Building your Portfolio on: April 22, 2019, 11:05:56 AM
I would closely follow the new, revolutionary technologies in the blockchain, which offer something especially, something that was previously impossible or difficult to implement. These are currently MIMBLEWIMBLE tokens - for example, GRIN. Especially now its price is at the lowest point and this is a good time to enter.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 22, 2019, 11:01:16 AM
It is necessary to carefully read the conditions of use of the exchange, there is certainly spelled out a clear condition for the mandatory verification of all recent messages and warnings from the exchange before making each transaction. But in some cases, support can go towards the user, so there is always a chance to change the situation.

At the moment, the price of the coin has again dropped to its usual bottom and amounts to several satoshes.
But who knows - maybe now is the time to make a promising investment? )
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are now moving into Masternodes (2019 exit scam method) on: April 22, 2019, 09:06:00 AM
There is another indirect way to lose money when investing in MN. This is the use of services that provide services for co-creation and maintenance of MN. It often happens that these services are subject to hacker attacks and as a result the funds of depositors are lost.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: April 22, 2019, 08:30:09 AM
I do not think that it is the very fact of entering the exchange that leads to a fall in the value of the coin.
In each case, the effect is completely different.
And if the project has not received proper development and support from investors, then naturally everyone wants to get rid of an unnecessary asset as soon as possible and merge it on the stock exchange at any, even the lowest price. And vice versa, if a coin seems promising, new investors actively buy it when entering the stock exchange.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: April 22, 2019, 08:22:32 AM
The human body needs a periodic release of adrenaline. In the era of an inactive way of life and the absence of dangers that await a person at every turn, we choose gambling rates and at the risk, we get the necessary adrenaline. And it does not matter whether we won or lost.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 22, 2019, 08:03:31 AM
At the moment there are few services that allow you to pay for goods and services directly with cryptocurrency. Moreover, the scope of these services is limited to a rather narrow circle. But this is only the beginning and the number of points accepting payment cards tied to cryptocurrency is constantly increasing. As an example - one such service offering a plastic card is a smartcard _https://smartcash.cc/smartcard/
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never sell my Alts for loss: Prefer to take them to the cemetery! on: April 22, 2019, 07:20:55 AM
One of the most famous coins that many left to die on local wallets, instead of selling for a pittance was SIGT.
In 2017, this coin had a noticeable effect in the field of mining by video cards.
Many people believed in the potential, but the result was very poor.
Although it should be noted that so far on this coin trades are held on the well-known and solid stock exchange

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good coins to mine with big CPU rig? on: April 22, 2019, 07:08:06 AM
Original projects aimed at reviving the very idea of production with an exclusively central processor and which constantly improve the extraction algorithm in order to protect against video cards and asics have very great prospects.
One of these projects is the coin NERVA.
Given the possibility of a potential increase in the price of this coin, it is possible to extract it several times for the future, although mining is profitable even at the current price.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 22, 2019, 06:54:44 AM
The greatest losses are usually in those altcoins, which seem to be something special, different from hundreds of similar ones.
The thought comes that this is a real revolution in the blockchain and the drop in their exchange rate is temporary and is just an excuse to buy them again and again.
I think everyone can remember such a story, just everyone has their own anti-hero.
I thus lost a lot of money by investing at the end of 2017 in the SMART coin, which has fallen in price over this time almost a hundred times. (
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 22, 2019, 06:46:27 AM
It is possible to determine the moment of sale only by your own internal voice. The main thing - do not follow the generally accepted trend. How many times did not try to follow the advice of experts on stock trading and technical analysis - never got the expected result. It seems that these shepherds are purposefully driving a flock of obedient investors in the direction they need, and at some point they themselves act strictly on the contrary, receiving their profit.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 22, 2019, 06:35:01 AM
I understand the need to provide a package of documents for trading on a large stock exchange, which, in turn, regulates its activities in accordance with the laws of the country of registration.
But when documents require small one-day crypto-exchanges - this should be alarming.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 21, 2019, 06:53:09 PM
Loss of time for various unpromising bounty is certainly very unpleasant, but when trading on stock exchanges there is a high probability of losing money, and this is often a much more significant loss.
