2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 06, 2019, 02:34:44 PM
My biggest fear is losing a big amount of money that I earn for and invest in bitcoin because it's hard to decide if you're going to take the risk especially when the money is big
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: November 06, 2019, 02:21:20 PM
Some people say bitcoin is better than US dollar but i think US dollar wins in terms of acceptance because not all people know what bitcoin is and bitcoin price is volatile and bitcoin don't have physical form you cannot touch it like dollars
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: November 06, 2019, 02:14:19 PM
Bitcoin is unexpectedly becoming a recognized payment method. There are loads of different places or websites that will accept payments in Bitcoin and if this continues people will recognize it be accepted but it still depends on the government

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: November 06, 2019, 01:54:57 PM
It depends on who do you introduce bitcoin to, and the way how you introduced bitcoin to the. Not all people is tech savvy, I've introduced bitcoin into some of my friends and only a couple of the really got involved in crypto currency. Even I who really believes in crypto was skeptical on it when it was first introduced by my brother.
in my case my friend introduced me to bitcoin and i like it i read articles about cryptocurrencies and i joined this forum to explore and learn more but when i introduced it to my other friend they show no interest in it and i gave up because i can't force them to understand it
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: November 06, 2019, 01:45:33 PM
Recently I've heard someone's speech about keeping BTC on the exchange is not safe. But the same thing may be fair to other types of wallets — it's all about the pros and cons, isn't it?
There must be a comparison based on the number of incidents, statistics, etc.
I mean, ok, let's consider this article as a detailed guide for different types of wallets — there's an explanation, principles of working, advantages and disadvantages — but how do you actually know, which wallet will be safe? How did you choose your current wallet?

Where do you keep crypto? Have you ever been stolen?
I've never lost bitcoin because I make sure my wallets and passwords are properly protected to prevent hackers who want to steal but my friend already lost some money because of scam exchange sites
8  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why do whales move Bitcoin around from wallet to wallet? on: November 06, 2019, 01:35:18 PM
I read this today and it made me wonder what exactly is the purpose of whales moving Bitcoin around like this?

https://www.fxstreet.com/cryptocurrencies/news/bitcoin-whales-move-3-billion-in-just-six-hours-201907302301?utm_source=tradingview&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=254b9d70-7c4b-481b-a94e-aaac0c60ed14

Are they splitting the coin up into smaller wallets so they do not keep all their eggs in one basket?  Any other reasons why?
for safety reasons i think if you have big funds in your wallet you might want to check it regularly and move it to other wallet like offline wallet it is to risky to trust in here in the internet
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: November 06, 2019, 01:32:08 PM
There are many risk involve here because crypto don't have physical form and it is dangerous to trust people in the internet  you can lose a big amount of money if you don't undestand the risk or dont have knowledge
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 bitcoin risks you should know when investing in bitcoin on: November 06, 2019, 01:22:45 PM

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin on: November 06, 2019, 01:16:45 PM
Bitcoin can be use to buy things in the internet and some website or companies accept bitcoin as a payment i think but there are limitations because it is not known to other people and its not legal to use in other countries
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 01:10:49 PM
Although there are a lot of altcoin arising even with more updated features than bitcoin, bitcoin still remain the strongest because bitcoin already has the trust of people who strongly believe what bitcoin can do and I think that's the reason why bitcoin survived a decade.
in bitcoin it all started so it is impossible to be surpassed by other altcoins as long as bitcoin continues to exist it will not disappear but it is also possible because there are other alt coins popular and used by people
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whet is the best marketplace to buy Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 12:59:07 PM
Do some research before buying anything on the internet lots of sites sells bitcoin but some of them are scam. You did it right because you asked before you bought bitcoin and just explore here in the forum if you are a beginner

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: November 06, 2019, 12:34:50 PM
I always find people who think that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency assets are busting money and sometimes there are people who always assume that investing in bitcoin is fraught with hacker risk.
on the other hand I cannot assume that their opinions are wrong, but on the other hand I cannot justify their statements.
I always think that people who have opinions like that are people who don't really know about blockchain technology, or they just read from one of the articles that happens to provide news about a "dark" case in bitcoin, so they often assume that bitcoin is a range against hackers and scam.

what do you think about finding people like that and how will you react to them?
if they do not believe I can do nothing but waste my time explaining because they do not know bitcoin and they are not very open on these topics or they have not read the news about it I will let them go because I know the use of bitcoin and it's not a scam
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: November 06, 2019, 12:28:18 PM
Yes I do. I am not the kind of person that back away from confrontation or a challenge and I do not sit on my ass and wait for good things to happen to me. I go out there and fight for it, because I believe the harder and smarter you work for it, the more deserving it would be to achieve it.

Word of mouth is FREE advertising and it takes very little effort to plant a seed. If people hear about Bitcoin every day, they will eventually be curious and they will investigate by themselves.  Wink
I gave up talking to my friends who are not interested in bitcoin because they have never experienced it or they just don't want to believe because they don't know bitcoin
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins for illegal activity on: April 24, 2018, 02:43:44 AM
It is humans fault why bitcoin is used for illegal activity. Bitcoin is open to all types that we can use. There's no doubt that even in the illegal terms it will be include in this kind of activity.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 05, 2018, 09:08:01 AM
Even I myself starting to doubt how my investment is not starting to grow but we need to wait patiently and we'll see the outcome. Holding can be tiring but it doesn't we need to lose out of sight. Hold on and wait for the bitcoin come back
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can actually buy a lot of things with Bitcoin on: April 04, 2018, 01:16:16 PM
In this generation, some other country and establishments are now introduced to bitcoin and yes, we can buy a lot of things using bitcoin. We can use it for hotels, paying to a restaurant, some jewelry shops, and so much more. You can also use it for trading or in different markets so youre bitcoins can also increase when you spend so much for your necessities.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: April 04, 2018, 01:10:29 PM

I can say yes, because its like a business where you accept the risk that you will experience when we are in the world of bitcoin. At first, you need to focus on how to use it, study the flow of using it in order to gain knowledge in using it and be one of our source of income. If we worked seriously using bitcoin we can get want we want but not all the time we’re on top so better be ready to all the possibilities that bitcoin might bring to us.
