1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: November 25, 2018, 03:32:33 PM
How many celebrities or high profile individuals do you know of that owns and support Bitcoin? I think if we can get some high profile users, we

might get some good exposure going forward. When Playboy started out, they realized that they should start the magazine with a BANG, so they

bought nude pictures of the most well known person in the world at the time and put her on the front page. <--- Marilyn Monroe ... This put them

on the map and they built a global empire.

Who will be our Marilyn Monroe?

So far we have had some high profile users like Mike Tyson and Ashton Kutcher, but we need a globally recognized ambassador for Bitcoin... our

very own, Marilyn Monroe.  Grin

Well, celebrities do have a great impact when they promote a crypto. It is indeed could make a coin in-demand yet still it depends on the community if they would believe and be onto what the celebrity is promoting. One negative side of it is the loss of the coin is the loss of trust to the celebrity. Hence, having an ambassador is unnecessary at all.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 21, 2018, 09:01:38 PM
Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment.

I have send email to some companies in the UK to ask them to add Bitpay as a payment option.

Let's start an Operation Bitcoin. All of us send emails to companies to ask them to accept bitcoin.  Smiley

That's a great movement yet it's still depends on where country you are. In example, Bitcoin is nationally accepted in the Philippines as a company called Coins.ph made its own app to have a virtual and exclusive wallet for the Philippine peso and bitcoin conversion and transactions. What made this company successful is that they made partnerships with local monopoly of different sectors such as electric company and water company, as they made them accept online bills payments and transactions thru their app. Hence with an exclusive wallet for a country, we could easily make companies accept bitcoin.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: November 21, 2018, 07:14:39 PM
I know Jeff Bezos is considered the richest known person but there is a lot of hidden wealth in the world.

I've heard the following people may actually be trillionaires:

Putin
Oil Saudis
Rothschild family

Well, Jeff Bezos is indeed the most popular richest person, yet only because he's popular and well known for being the CEO of Amazon. But the question "who is the richest person" should never mention a family, only a person alone, and the aforementioned question is one of the uncertain and unanswerable question as some prefer to be wealthy without others being known for some reasons such as they are part of some sort of secret organization, or had wealth due to illegal businesses and transactions, and/or Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. We will never know.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: November 21, 2018, 07:05:10 PM
why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?

I think selling your properties and leaving your job is an exagerated statement and/or a wrong decision to be made. Never ever lose everything just for the bubble and fluctuating cryptos. Yes it makes someone crazy as it could make a smart and dedicated person wealthy, and it is the most silent work gaining huge passive income to an investor/trader, yet it is still really temporary and can be eradicated by any means of destruction or by any worldwide reasons.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the death of Bitcoin also mean the death of cryptomania?? on: November 17, 2018, 07:34:11 PM

If Bitcoin were to completely bottom out, what would happen to the altcoins?

Follow the crypto superstar to a fiery death?  or  Skyrocket passed their predecessor?

I believe that Satoshi had a vision where blockchain technology and cryptocurrency would be the foundation of the world. But as we all know Rome wasn't built in a day(unlike bitcoins run to 20k). What if in this vision Bitcoin wasn't meant to be the gold of the internet but rather a mold of what should be created. When comparing bitcoin to its rivals, it is usually at a disadvantage in the technology department yet, it is still the most valued crypto. While Lightning network has been less than impressive, other crypto tech has been stealing the spotlight. Ripple is currently holding the fastest transaction time of roughly 3 seconds(avg. transaction time for bitcoin~60min). EOS while navigating a rough mainnet launch is dropping EON which looks to fundamentally solve problems within EOS. Investors are already talking about EON being crypto-gold in the near future.

Don't give up hope if Bitcoin does take a turn for the worst. Trust the Tech, better days are on their way.

Bitcoin is still at risk and can die sooner or later dependkng on the holders and the market itself. But then the idea and the technology remains the same, just drastically improving and innovating. Hence, we must not be scared if the mother of all cryptos would die. Good things may leave, but better things would come after. But then again, trust and patience is the key.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: November 17, 2018, 07:23:55 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

Bitcoin is indeed undefeatable yet could be finished depending in the market and those who holds a huge amount of it. Well, more likely most would say that ETH will remain the second following the growth of Bitcoin, but its not. Yes the ETH's technology is great, yet innovations affects its greatness. EOS and Ripple are being tough on the market as both have greater technology than ETH.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: November 17, 2018, 07:16:32 PM
There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.
Share your opinions below , do you think it's positive ?

It is natural that some company will issue their own cryptocurrency as they have various uses for various platforms in various countries. Hence, not everyone would hold or even know those 1624 crypto currencies you've mentioned, and it wouldn't even affect their respective markets negatively  as it is defined by their holders not by the demand of other cryptos.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: November 12, 2018, 05:33:34 PM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?

That's the problem with the modern technology nowadays. We are eager to make life easier but in reality, could only make manpower jobs useless. As of now, if you are undergraduate, you would have difficulties finsing the right and profitable work even you have skills for a certain job.

Yet still, it depends on the goverment you have. Be thankful if your local government continues to improve employment rate than to use and promote automatic machines.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2018, 03:11:27 PM
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.

Knowledge, when you know much than the usual in investing and everything that connects with investing you will never be threaten, knowledge is the guide for a person to defeat scammers, though they were still an exception like hacking which is one of the worst enemy of cryptocurrency, always be guided by a mentor or somebody who you can trust.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens when the last bitcoin has been mined? [Year 2140] on: November 04, 2018, 02:49:23 PM
Well, if you count it in that way, that might be the end of bitcoin. But the idea of bitcoin is exemplary, it won't be diminished that easily. Many will come by the time you've predicted.

I agree with this, people will definitely create various modifications to keep Bitcoin running in the market. And given that Bitcoin is being use by the mass, we can say that the stability must always be observe so we can prevent future threat that may end up eradicating this community.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: November 03, 2018, 03:04:38 PM
The latter. The brightest or weirdest people got in early. The richest get in after them and buy from them. The donkeys will be last and the richest will feed it back to them in a way that makes them even richer.

I agree with this. Those people who recognized Bitcoin earlier is the one who earn better for those who came later and I think that's one of the good reason of being early, opportunities. On the other hand. I certainly agree with the thing that it redistribute most of the wealth to those richer since they were the one who control this community but there were enough opportunities given to the common people like us to gather and to offer a service that suitable to what they are needing.

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall on: September 03, 2018, 03:39:59 PM
Now a days we sometimes seeing the price of Bitcoin falling along with others also falling.
At that time if I have Bitcoin then what should I do ?
Should I sell or hold?

Well, there would be a time that we are having this kind of scenarios but as far as I can see one of the essential thing that we should continously do is to work, and wait, working smart here is not always about how we can actually be productive in a certain period of time but instead how we can be possibly productive at downest times.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: September 02, 2018, 04:57:43 PM
There are so many scam projects going on. people are now afraid of joining ico.
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.

I think, there should be an implementation of improvement with regards to ICO, since if we remove this there would be a limited number of projects to be release to people who wants to earn and I am including to that, since investments and other way to earn here demands enough time and money which I cannot fund these day since I am just a student, but overall I hate scammed projects since I already assume I can get profit but then they left already.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: September 02, 2018, 04:36:30 PM
As an investor one thing you shouldn't engage yourself with is Predictions, if you want to be successfully in this Crypto ecosystem, you need to stay off any form of market prediction.

Here are few reasons why you shouldn't engaged with it (market/price prediction)

1. Predictions can be wrong

2. Listening to predictions makes you a speculator

3. Listening to predictions makes you an onlooker

4. Price prediction gives you nothing for today, only false hope

5. Listening to price prediction makes you think in one direction

Finally

Don’t let speculation and assumption make you decide what to do.

I agree with this dont believe in just prediction, it lead us to make unnecessary decision which may be the cause for our regrets,I definitely can relate with this one, when I believe to a certain prediction that when this month had occur, the amount will be triple and that's the stupidest thing that I have ever believed.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 02, 2018, 03:37:41 PM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

I totally agree with this and if this will happened ,probably people who doesnt have thr capability to be in line with this kind of currenxy will be isolated in the future society that we are going to have so better that we have to understand and appreciate the value of the traditional way of making transactions and the one that we are imposing to accept these days.

19  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: August 26, 2018, 11:31:39 PM
In the study of economics, Investment mean any addition in physical stock as well as stock of finished goods,  or you can say any putting money in anything for the motive of profit.I want to know your opinion that what are main challenges for small investors in any type of business now a days, If he/she has nothing after his investment?

I think the main challenge that I can see on that is the risk associated because with small capital, you are very near into your limiti which means, you have already exerted all that you have starting a small capital but the assurance of making it into a larger one can be that difficult to predict because not all business that started from a small capital get successful because of the limitation that have been sent out which also limits the amount of profit to come. This also means that small investment or capital only caters a small feedback of money for you gain.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: August 26, 2018, 10:59:53 PM
It is very sad to say that a technology like this would come to a big tragedy
Bitcoin has the potential to be great but it has become a weapon of Greed

The real use of bitcoin as a payment system is just a fantasy
But what happens in reality, it is just a pump and dump coin like the rest

The only coin that is using blockchain technology the right way is USDT or Tether
most other coins are just scams and not meant for adaptability

A currency is something that can be used for daily basis rather than just an investment
majority of people who buy bitcoin is just for investment and not used as a payment itself

Never the less
HAIL HYDRA!
Well, that was really the sad truth that we need to face that with the rise if the modernization, is also the rise of the lazy and greedy type of people that have the mindset that all things can be gain that easy without exerting much effort and sometimes there is an abuse of usage and lack of contentment that make them greedy individuals from simple ones at first sight. It is really in need that with the proper usage of it, we can control the equity or balance to avoid the bad effects to come.
