Hello bitcointalk,

we are JOLOCOM, a start up from Berlin Kreuzberg with a focus on decentralized applications and privacy.
At Jolocom we are working hard to create a future where data sovereignty is possible and can be claimed by people around the world.
 
Right now we see several shortcomings in the digital space:
you regularly end up in a username and password jungle,
other parties own your data,
you have no control over your data,
updating data is cumbersome and platform-centric,
and most importantly you constantly pay for services with your privacy.

We think this has to change - We want to build a tomorrow where:
you own your data,
you control access with your private key,
you decide who you share your data with,
and where changing/updating your data is done in one place and is user-centric.
