Perhaps check your 6 and 8 Pin connectors on the GPU. I've had a case where one of those metal contacts became loose.

Asics can only mine SHA-256. I am not sure if an ASIC can mine other currencies based on SHA-256. I would think so thought.  Someone please correct me if im wrong.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Scrypt Mining - Core or Memory Clock? on: May 06, 2013, 01:53:04 PM
Hi,
i am currently GPU mining LTC as well as some others using CGMiner. I have read that those currencies based on Scrypt are rather intense on the GPUs Memory.

Should my focus be on overclocking the GPU Memory rather that GPU Core? I could of course do both, but then i would have to overvolt which would get me into troubles concerning the temperatures. So i basicially just want to use the available overhead in Vols to overclock one of the two.

What do you say? Core or Memory?

Thanks!

Are you getting Hardware Errors? I would try lowering the intensity. I have had similar issues where the intensity was too high.

I use cgminer, and havent had any problems so far.

Your log looks like it is missing a DLL or a DLL failed to register.

It really depends on what Hardware the Server has. What would you like to host? A Pool?

Im currently mining LTC on a  OC'ed 5970. Max Hashrate is at 800. Card has a high power consumption, so i would not reccommend it.
