Also as I type the ETH hash rate is up to 355th which is an all time high.
ETH is paying 7.5 cents an mh so 2600 x 7.5 = $195 a day while burning 80kwatts daily at 20 cents that is 16 USD.
So 195-16 = 179 a day we are 200 days out maybe 210 days out and this is a brick.
210 x 179 = 37,590 usd
if it takes 60 days to get this and the hash rate climbs you can be underwater on this.
If you get it fast under 10 days it very likely will make money.
Are they going to make 1000 of them 1000 x 2.6 gh is 2.6 th or a very a small net work jump of 355 to 357.6
but if they make 10,000 of them
and innosilicon makes 10,000 of theirs we are at 26th + 9 th or 35th
and don't think bitmain does not have something on the side say 30th of gear.
now we add 26+9+30 = 65th moving network to 420th in 60 days.
Be careful if you buy this.
Great analysis! So my question to you.. is.. if these ASICS are so profitable. Why don't they just build them and mine for themselves? why bother selling them at all? Didn't they just build a money making machine?? |

Upgraded to TRM 0.8.0, then discovered I had to upgrade my AMD driver from 20.4.2, too, in order to get the new config mode B work with my RX5700s.
Then discovered I had to upgrade Overdriventool from 0.2.8 to 0.2.9, since the old version didn't work with the newer driver.
I tried AMD driver version 20.9.1, since that was the lowest recommended, but found this to be flaky. And overdriventool would not apply settings. In the end I reverted back to AMD driver 20.4.2 and am now running the miner with A576 config on all my RX5700s.
amd driver 20.5.1 works with overdriventool 0.2.9. So this will all work with TRM 0.8.0 |

New epoch today cause all my 8gb cards to lose a bit of hash. Also getting a bunch of rejected shares too. Is this pool side? or the miner?
In which pool are you mining?... now with the new epoch the Mhs of the 4Gb have got reduced a little bit more... but 8Gb should not be affected. Sometimes a restart is usefull if not well generated new DAG Ethermine. I did several restarts and it finally got back to about 100%. I am seeing more slightly more stale shares from the poolside. Probably poolside issue. |

what's new in 1.18a? this just came out?

In RaveOS the latest version does not work, when starting the miner the platform it restarts using version 1.18 and 1.18A (worker_rebooting_by_flag_auto) this happens in my two 4GB platforms, instead version 1.17 works perfectly in both.
Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with the version included in RaveOs?
check your overclocks. might have to dial them down for the miner to start |

Guys... i switched over to Phoenix miner last week and couldn't be happier. Less dev fee. Lots more shares. Very little stale shares.
Claymore is playing you for fools... why do newer version of claymore suck more than older version?? cause he's pilfering more shares for you idiots.

Seems like all new version of Claymore never can reach the reported effective hashrate. If you guys want more shares.. use v9.8. All newer version are skimming more shares. Claymore just getting his share guys..
Don't believe you. He has always been updating this SW to please us users. Can you proof that the 9.8 version is better than 11.x ? @rigomortis Just rolled back one of my rigs to v9.8 with the same dcri suggestions as 11.7 did. Going to try it for 24h to see if you are correct - or full of bs... Time will show Ollis not BS bro. i switched to the latest hoping the higher hashrate will be worth it.. but the shares are alot lower. BTW... you will notice a big difference if you run demion nodevfee.. which is the only legit nodevfee program. You will see that v11.2 and higher you will not be able to divert the devfees back to yourself. I would say version 11 is the last decent claymore version.. after that it's all bloatware. |

v11.3 is using SSL for devfees. So if you are running a nodevfee you won't be getting those hashes. Claymore will. He's upped his game to get more shares from you! Just masking it will higher hashrates for his newer version.

I think Mr. Claymore is adding extra code to bypass all those nodev hacks. I bet you each version he releases steals more shares from all you fucking lemmings.

Interesting asking for a free version- should we then ask Microsoft,Apple,Samsung and others also to provide free ? would you work for free ?  First off, Claymore uses open source code which he is trying to make a buck off. So before you start kissing his ass.. or being his shill, get the facts right. Apple made OSX free upgrade. Microsoft also made windows free. Your point? |

I think there might be something wrong with 10.2. I have 2 identical rigs. One running 9.8 and super stable. The other rig is on 10.2 and windows gets really sluggish after 3hrs of mining. I couldn't even move any windows around and afterburner becomes unresponsive. I am going to switch my 10.2 over to 9.8 and see if that will make a difference.
have you tried the 10.1? no.. why? are you having similar issue? is 10.2 the culprit? this is the only difference in my 2 rigs. Both have the exact same hardware my problem with 10.2 is the "Temperature control thread hangs, need to restart the miner!" error, both on my 2 rigs, never encounter this error on previous versions... don't fix what's not broken right? I mean.. is there really any performance increase from say 9.8 to 10.2? not that i could tell in terms of hash rates. |
