4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: June 14, 2019, 12:37:25 PM
I believe that athiest will not ever entertain gambling because the time that you made your first step inside is that you are already believing that you are lucky or that you have something lucky. It can also go beyond like you will call any deity, god or saint that they say miraculous or can give you luck. I remember when I'm in a heat of a game and I just continue to mumble the name of the Lord.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to block US customers on: June 14, 2019, 12:26:37 PM
Hmmmm....I hope that the trade war issue and the huawei ban does not have anything to do with Binance's decision. Because for me, it felt like it was their love for their country is the reason behind it. But man, this is still a huge loss of money on the trading volume because I only know 3 countries that has a lot of money and that is China, USA and Russia.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2019, 11:48:03 PM
I won't be surprise if several of these institutions like the bank and the government do. They can clearly see that i cannot be stopped. Giant companies like Facebook, Google and Apple are slowly adapting to it. If you guys focus only on the tech and not just as a speculation asset, it really is going to reshape the whole world. The world-leading banks are the only ones that kept denying and it's the only reason we can't keep pushing forward aggressively.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: June 13, 2019, 12:43:24 PM
Gold exist for over a 1000+ years maybe? Bitcoin only 10 years. Also the internet existed about 25+ years. Bitcoin price is higher than gold by over 200%. I think the value of Bitcoin is going to sky rocket once again. When technology gets more advance n the Bitcoin system upgrades. Just another speculation.

Bitcoin is an innovative tool perfect for our modern advanced technology. It is  very useful for our day to day life if it gets adopted worldwide while gold does not really do anything and we don't  really need it and it's only precious because of its structure. Gold is just there to symbolize it's holder's status in our society. While the internet and bitcoin exist to ease life to the fullest.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: June 13, 2019, 01:27:04 AM
I would bet my money on new cryptocurrencies on IEOs. The trend still continue to hype the people and so far Binance and Kucoin are doing a great job keeping the price above the ieo price. I love bitcoin but I think it is going to explode next year so if you guys are not patient enough then there is IEO who can be your best investment for a short time.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: would you give your fingerprint or eye scan for a fair money supply? on: June 13, 2019, 01:10:20 AM
I am creating a money supply which distributes duration to addresses but need a way to verify each person has only one account

would you give your fingerprint or eye scan for a fair money supply?

see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-based_currency

I just felt much more danger with that process. I've seen many heist movies or robbery movies and they all did the same thing with that security feature, which is they killed the guy and place his head to match his eye for the security access or cut the finger right away. Forget it and it will never happen. Fair money supply won't exist because greed will always destroy that process.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: June 12, 2019, 12:59:43 PM
So far, I'm happy with the developments that is happening in my country that involves blockchain. It's quite positive that  one of the major banks are already installing btc atms and many famous universities are studying and developing their own crypto as well. I also heard some rumours that an insitution in my country wants to introduce a local stable coin.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is blockchain gambling business beneficial? on: June 12, 2019, 12:45:39 PM
5 years from now, online gambling/casino running through blockchain will surely kill physically existing casino and gambling houses. Owners of famous online gambling sites right now that use crypto are going to make billions because the age of mass adoption is coming through the help of Globalcoin created by Facebook. Players don't need to go here and there and they can quickly pull out the money they want to spend that increases the state of their addiction.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 - the year of crypto? on: June 12, 2019, 07:17:01 AM
I believe that the growth we achieved in the last months were just a part of a plan for the race to $50k and $100k value of bitcoin in 2019. Because when I think about it, people got attracted again to buy btc but they will want more and I don't know if the IEO's success is a coincidence but for me it definitely was. It is again a huge factor to make people spend their money on the digital assets because they all see that they can profit again just like 2017.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 12, 2019, 07:04:40 AM
Bitcoin got banned in India and China so Bitcoin is worthless in these 2 countries. People of India will lose $10,000 or $100,000 if they do not get buyers in other countries at $7000.

Bitcoin was never banned in China. Domestic ICOs and exchange businesses were. There is still a robust OTC market there. Weekly Localbitcoins volume alone is in the 30 million CNY range. Not to mention the mining industry.

Some Indian legislators have proposed a bill. Nothing has happened yet.

Op was trying  hard to scare few members around. Veteran traders and investors know that there are much more whale traders from China from the rest of the world combined. And I don't get why people always mislead others like this India proposal to ban bitcoin issue but the context that they spread seems like its already decided. I think China and India will stay in the crypto space for a long time and this is just one of the small bumps on their path.
14  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCASH Cashout Assistance Service on: June 11, 2019, 03:14:55 PM
Same rates din sa ibang GCASH exchanger. Fees collected by OP is just reasonable. Ok na yan.

Now that GCASH withdrawal isn't available in coins.ph, this will be a good alternative. Pero nung time na available pa ang GCASH, it's usual na walang magttry ng service ni OP.

Questions:

a) Can you accommodate large transactions? or pag sabay-sabay ang request?

b) Your availability. How someone can take advantage of the urgent process if you are not available? Yes, you will used Telegram but it's not about the plaform but your active status itself. Are you open for other ways to ping you like text message or something?

15  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Kapa-Community Ministry Investment scam on: June 11, 2019, 03:26:10 AM
Dinamay pa talaga yung bitcoin, walang hiya talaga.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: June 11, 2019, 03:12:16 AM
In my perspective, it's perfectly fine and it's good for both users and the gambling sites. There are so many benefits when online casinos are strictly regulated. First, is that they can determine gamblers that are using laundered money with the help of KYC. You can also prove your wealth that it came from the gambling site if ever people or authorities around you get suspicious with the luxurious life you got from the huge jackpot. But these gambling sites better be sure that they have an active and authenticated license before I undergo their KYC procedures.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: June 11, 2019, 03:00:57 AM
It is very not appropriate to use the term 'safe' in gambling or even in online gambling using bitcoins. It should how much risk will you encounter in bitcoin gambling? We know it is online and I can think of many instances of cheating like that the operators can modify the results. But so far, successful crypto gambling sites are proving that they are fair but casual gamblers  need to be careful because they always like to try new gambling sites that leads them to a scam.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: June 07, 2019, 02:47:08 AM
Ever since the market went red, have you guys received any tokens from the bounty campaigns you have joined? In my case, I haven't received any and I've asked the devs of the projects that I have participated in and they told me that they are following their roadmap and focusing on their product. Are you in the same situation as me?

If they have told you that then don't hope that they will continue. I've heard that in 2-3 bounties in my journey and most of them just stopped updating their telegram and I just finally decided to forget it and move on. It's hard but  it is the best thing I can do and my time will just be wasted if you keep chasing on nothing. And now, I'm much more careful and I think bounties that have IEOs are the type that attracts me now.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: June 07, 2019, 02:32:50 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

You know what, I believe it is one of the factor. Because whenever I visit some casinos, I often see old people playing slot machines. I am thinking to myself if they are really consistent to play that thing until they win or perhaps they just really killing their time on it. I guess their motive has that both but the factor of loneliness is more likely.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: June 07, 2019, 02:18:01 AM
In our country kids catch spidera and let them fight on a stick. You can also see adults doing the same and guess what, they are betting money with it. The question is, will this kind of gambling catch gamblers attention online?

I think we are in the same country, dude. It was a time when internet was not still introduced or as high-tech as it is now and people need to find things to entertain themselves and betting on spiders was one of them. Adults really love that and they really search creeks and canals under just to catch the best spider to challenge other ones. Honestly, it was really entertaining but it was just quick and the losing spider became a meal for the spider who won.
