inel pentium4 2.66ghz
758mb ram

that ain't a server that's antique Wink no seriously i have 2 servers fastest is a dual xeon E5630 Quad core with 64gb of ram and that is already slow compared to this days hardware.

honestly i dont think you can do anything with it.

A couple Xeons does like .2 LTC

If it's idle, not bad ^_^
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Two different GPUs in same mining rig? on: May 06, 2013, 07:05:43 AM
Yes, you can use two different models without trouble.

Run two instances of cgminer, one for each GPU.

Make sure to disable ULPS as I just described here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195550.msg2035320#msg2035320

Thanks! I had no idea about ULPS, so you just saved me many hours of frustration. :-)

Would disabling ULPS make integrated video work when nothing attached? I herd I can mine on the onboard for bout half what my GTX650 does

Why would GUIMiner, that is a GUI front end to CGMiner not work with your cards

If that was the case cgminer wouldn't work xD

How do i post ads?

You can register to coinURL in the example I gave you (https://coinurl.com/index.php). After you have registered your account if you're new to this sort of thing I suggest starting off with URLs. Simply type your URL then get the short version below it and paste it to my blog. You will get a click. A click will determine the amount of pay you receive via coinURL. After you have successfully created your account go to the earn tab, click the word "Clicks" under "link sharing" to view your pay. Lastly, you can have up to ten thousand clicks. Enjoy.

Thank you for an actual explanation sir.

What makes Chinacoin better than any other altcoin besides the fact that it is new and cheap?
Thats about it really Smiley plus china will take over the world soon Wink
And they will adopt it because it has china in the name? They will adopt Bitcoin not Chinacoin.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking to buy LTC on: May 06, 2013, 04:17:45 AM
Would stongly advise against using paypal...
Whats wrong with paypal?

I was actually slightly interested but will probably do LTC to BTC

The basic scam is that the buyer disputes the transaction, and they get their money back and they keep the LTC/BTC.

There are some twists to the scenario (such as the buyer paying as a gift), but either way it can end with someone losing their money.

The topic has been discussed a lot. See if you can find threads with more detail.
Ah thats what I figured, thanks.

There should be a currency CPU's can mine on spare power.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Mining Pools on: May 06, 2013, 03:45:01 AM
Would not suggest for laptops.

My powerful GPU and a bunch of server CPU's barely pulls 160kH/s on LTC
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: syncing ? on: May 06, 2013, 03:40:56 AM
The blockchain is getting really big and it takes like a whole day now to download it. I think the size could become a problem in the future.

I haven't opened it more then a few times in the last few months, has never finished syncing. Boy does it kill my HDD
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please someone teach me simple mining :( on: May 06, 2013, 03:12:04 AM
I would like to do china coin, ix coin and feather coin
I can't suggest between the three

I did FTC just to test it out

http://fcpool.com/gettingstarted

Will require knowledge of windows cmd, linux, or Apple OS X console's.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please someone teach me simple mining :( on: May 06, 2013, 03:05:34 AM
With how you describe your system, I don't think it would even be profitable or worth your while.
Indeed

A dual core system may do .1 FTC a day though

What coins are you looking to mine?
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Businesses and Developers, Let's Get Started! on: May 06, 2013, 03:02:17 AM
I may be providing hosting services in exchange of BTC.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please someone teach me simple mining :( on: May 06, 2013, 02:59:39 AM

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Bitcoin Web hosting? on: May 05, 2013, 11:37:46 PM
is it advertising saying I can provide hosting services in exchange of BTC?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The end of altcoins on: May 05, 2013, 10:45:04 PM
I did FTC

Felt really pointless, all the pools went down tons. Back on LTC, still slow (Earning over 1FTC a day was cool) but at .1 or so LTC a day I'll stay
