1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will My Bitcoins be Safe During Bitcoin Gold Hardfork and November's Hardfork? on: October 11, 2017, 07:43:43 PM
your "bitcoin" is always safe.
what these articles point out is "replay protection". which means if the forks don't have it, when you spend on one chain, the coins on the other chain will also be spent because without replay protection the same transaction is valid on all chains.

right now S2X does not have it. but nothing says it can't change before the fork. and even if they don't add it, you will just have to take a simple but additional step to split your coins.

what is the simple but additional step?

Bug report v1127 (RX dagfix):

"oc_dpm.sh line 6 integer expression expected, missing variable" occurs after configuring and saving overclock settings, then clearing any previously configured overclock settings and reloading the miner program.

Also, after configuring any overclock settings, clearing them and saving with empty fields reloads the previously configured values - not defaults.

Very easy to use, good job.

I'm running Claymore v9.8 to dual mine Eth and Sia with my GPU independently of WinMiner. In other words, I'm only using WinMiner to mine Monero with my CPU. The problem is that WinMiner is killing the independent Claymore process a few minutes after both are running simultaneously, even though my GPU is unselected in WinMiner. Any suggestions?

edit: It seems WinMiner kills the independent Claymore process every time WinMiner starts its selected miner. So even if I start the independent process after WinMiner is already running its selected miner, WinMiner will kill the independent Claymore process anytime it restarts its selected miner... How can I prevent this from happening?
