1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 07, 2020, 08:47:29 AM
After reading replies from some threads on this gambling discussion board, I see that many people have already delivered suggestions related to various problems of gamblers. Now, it depends on us to follow or ignore the suggestions. Or we can take a look at the suggestions that are suitable for our problems. Here are below:

1. You shouldn't spend much money because it will harm the family. (Limit your funds)
2. You must have good self-control, it is one of the keys to be successful in gambling.
3. You mustn't get loans, you will be trapped in debt at the end.
4. After you can win in a gambling game, you are better to stop (break for a while). Don't be greedy to push your luck!
5. Don't expect much to win in gambling, most of them are luck-based. Think rationally!
6. Don't spend all your time gambling, have enough time for family, friends, and society.
7. Etc

What do you think, guys? Are all the suggestions worthed to follow by all gamblers? Let's discuss it, you can give any feedback or opinions.
Please let me know if there are other good suggestions! I will add them to OP if I think it is a nice one. I really hope this will be helpful for us.
These are great points a gambler should always remember before betting their whole life for a one more game. Life is much more precious, many opportunities and possibilities ahead, gambling is just one of them, one game, win or lose could change your life; how you live and interact with other people around you. Also, a gambler should always consider and expect anything when they make a move, so they could value their decisions more and wisely.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: April 07, 2020, 08:08:04 AM
I used to play email chess a long time ago, in fact someone on this forum also I met there before I picked up on bitcoin. It is fun, but you always knew when you were playing against someone using computer software, which is impossible to detect just have a lot of suspicion when you try ask them why they make the move and they cannot explain.
Well, that is only one of the downside when playing chess and waging money with someone you just met online because, the security is much more likely to be tampered with using bots or softwares. But, the idea of true players gambling by playing chess is great, does not mostly rely only on luck but also, in each other's skill as a chess player.

Haven't played chess online but, you should check mostly the security features in the site instead on focusing for a possible win.

I would like to try it soon, played chess in school. These kinds of gambling sites is good because it tests not only your luck but mostly your skills.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 07, 2020, 05:46:33 AM
Some sports may come sooner than others. The ones with larger TV viewers and advertising revenue would probably start operating in empty fields while the ones that are depended on real viewers would need to wait at least till the end of the year.
The current situation would surely bring an economic depression, as in depression, the gambling could get a boost for just after they open but would be affected for year to come as people would have less money to spend on gambling.
The only indication here is for how long will the virus last, or if some organization could finally found the antidote or cure for the virus. The longer the outbreak it takes will severely affect the economic status around the globe, wether we learn to adopt until it is over or a catasthropy will befall us. If this takes longer than we expected, people will lose money for their needs, and might take longer to get back on the gambling track.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 07, 2020, 05:04:08 AM
I have viewed and watched some videos on youtube concerning big casinos, I can see there that japan has actually have one, and there are higher than two thousand employees, that's how big that casino is, and one thing I've noticed is that, no matter how big they are, there is still order because of the proper monitoring and control of their employees. So, people are already falling in line one hour before their casino opens and guess what, the gamblers do actually have their own stations to play with and they can even have a break, reserving their machines for them.

For me, in crowded casinos like these, I definitely play in casinos like what japan has, the only problem I can see is the noise from the machine but I can take that to consideration.
Japanese people are indeed great and well disciplined, not only in casinos but, also in the way they interact and do actions in their daily lives: people are obedient both on complex and simple rules such as falling in line and giving way for elderly. Even with such big casino, it still shows how disciplined they are because, in the usual scenarios it would be a total chaos.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 01:28:22 AM
I say that, the covid-19 is still much more dangerous because, it is an illness that can claim lives of a lot of people, not only yourself but, also the people around you are at risk. Unlike gambling, you are not in danger of dying and infecting a lot of people that might also cost their lives. Gambling cannot be compared to the pandemic because, gambling habits can be surely cured over time with proper guidance and persistence without affecting others.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 06, 2020, 01:16:31 PM
Yes sometimes whenever I am addicted on something likr gambling, I often drink alcohol or smoke my cigarettes especially when the game was in the kind of disastrous in which I am loosing my temper and luck and I am beginning to lose. This probably common with all of the gamblers especially when they are having a hard time to thunk about the techniques that they will do in able for them to win.

Sounds like you have a gambling problem. Losing your temper is definitely a symptom of gambling addiction. You are losing your temper because you are losing the money you'll need in the future.

If you were wagering small you wouldn't have that problem probably.
That is why it is very important to develop first your character before gambling because, if you are not disciplined enough, you will more be more likely influenced by the pressure and stress from the games you  play, and might turn to addiction when you are without self control in the habit. Easily losing your temper when losing in a game is bad because, it hinders you to make more accurate and right decision when you play and wage your money.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Corona Virus Disrupts the Crypto Industry in China. on: April 06, 2020, 12:04:04 PM
There are significant number of sites and news saying that China now have less to zero number of infection a day, and the price of Bitcoin from the end of the month of March have been steadily growing from the dump to $3,500+ value. I think this events does explain why even if there is a worldwide quarantine implemented by each country, the development in the price of Bitcoin still continues up to this day. China is a big country, and it hosts a large community of Crypto currency, and the possibility regarding the recovery of the Bitcoin price might be rooted from the recovery of China.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Virus Bear Market? on: April 06, 2020, 09:28:30 AM
Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

The corona virus ultimately affected a lot of people around the globe, with the quarantine, a lot of people are losing jobs or income to pay for their needs especially those who have already responsibilities or family with them. Losing income leads people and possible holders or investors of Bitcoin to sell, thus, making the price of and demand for the coin to go down.

But, these days have shown a significant increase in the price of Bitcoin, wherein, we could conclude that it is gradually recovering and people starting to adopt in the crisis.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: April 06, 2020, 08:14:02 AM
With the current event happening around the globe; the spread of the corona virus that affected a growing number of countries, I don't think any country would not have the capability and time to enact a war. The war in oil have been going for quite a time but, I think this pandemic stopped it even for just months because, every country needs to focus more om the welfare of their people to survive the crisis.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: All Fiat-Replacement crypto will fail: what is wrong with this line of thinking? on: April 06, 2020, 07:33:26 AM
I don't think crypto like Bitcoin should only be viewed as a do or die replacement for fiat. It can easily complement fiat by allowing cross-border transactions of value, microtransactions, being used as a method for privately transfer value and so on. Government coin won't be a competitor to any of it, because it would be a very centralized system, like PayPal or Venmo but owned by state - it just won't have the same properties as true crypto.
Crypto also is good for investors because, they are volatile coins that has a high potential in the future like Bitcoin. Looking back when Bitcoin still has a small value, we all wish we would have invested in it earlier up to this day, and it is the same with other crypto currency available in the market now. With the right move, crypto could mold the future of a worldwide trade, and earn a lot of money from it.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: April 06, 2020, 06:56:00 AM
More and more predictions state that the present situation around the globe is just a beginning. The entire world is gonna experience a big crash by the falling year. This year was marked to be big year for economic uplifting, but the corona virus has changed everything upside down. Even our bitcoin was marked to reach much higher value, and now there is not much of discussion regarding the same. Maybe the crash continues upto 2025 and further begins a fresh start of the economy.
I disagree, even though there is a sudden crash in the price of Bitcoin when the corona virus started, we could see these past days have been a great sign for the recovery of the market. People in a quarantine, is a catalyst for the Bull run this year. After the pandemic is over, impending demand from the consumers would be freed up; surging up through the market that will cause the prices of the stock market to blow, and will change the course of the bearish market.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: April 06, 2020, 06:19:52 AM
In these times of crisis, being in a quarantine with no access to the oustide world: jobs and opportunities, it is good to have these kinds of tips and information for us, especially those who really need ways to earn money for their own needs and supplies in a crisis like this because, we should not only rely from the help of other people and the Government in our country, we should too need to strive more to survive this pandemic. Even as a small timer only here, I am thankful to have this opportunity to earn extra money by posting for my needs and stuffs.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 will pave the way for CBDCs on: April 06, 2020, 05:30:49 AM
Even though the chances are right for CBCD, I think it is still not the time for it because, the whole world is more busy fighting the virus and is focus more on the welfare of their soverign so they could give proper support for their people. CBCD still needs time to be realized because, not all are ready and capable for this new move towards the future, every country still needs to study more about the platform, so they will know how to implement it properly, and we have more important lives at stake here.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: We need a economic revolution right now . on: April 06, 2020, 04:49:52 AM
The pandemic sure has affected a lot of countries and disrupted the economic status around the globe but, it is not the time to  blame each other, this is the time where cooperation is what matters most. Looking back in earlier pandemics, we are far more ready now, with our techonology and communications, that should be used to unify all the countries to coopearate for a better chance on solving this crisis.

In addition, the good news is, Bitcoin price is gradually making a development these past weeks, and it coule be a sign for a recovery that we hope for.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 06, 2020, 03:18:38 AM
The only thing that would tell how much the pandemic might affect the world is the length it takes before we find the cure for it because, for me, we can lessen the spread of the virus but, it is not possible to stop it. The possibility for a global hunger would arise as long as the virus is still around, and I hope that we could all survive this pandemic, and we would.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: What China is hiding from us and are they doing it to save their economy? on: April 06, 2020, 02:36:41 AM
First of all, if China planned all of this then what about the previous pandemic in our history whose fault is that and who we're gonna blame? I don't think China did that but the possibilities is possible since it's all about the economy just like funding the wars. I'm sure someone is really behind all of this but we can't pinpoint yet who is that and what really is their intention.
I don't think someone or an organization would dare to plan and execute this kind of crisis because, almost all of the things that make the world revolving had stopped: parents can't provide food for their family, disrupting the economic balance, stirs up trouble across borders, and makes confusion around the globe. It affected mostly all the sectors in every country, even the stock market is down. All are affected by the pandemic, and if someone planned this, they knew well that they are too would be affected severely by this crisis, and no one would go that far just for some personal interests.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: April 05, 2020, 12:50:25 PM
I could only hope for this pandemic to end soon, so we could go back to our normal lives and for the entire economy to recover from the bearish market. For me, it is always good to always see the bright side in any problem we are facing, so we could still hope and be more motivated to strive more and survive this crisis. Right now, instead of worrying too much, we should cherish every moment we have and be thankful for everything everyday, be always wise and look on what's coming: the many possibilities and opportunities.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 05, 2020, 11:40:53 AM
This consiparacy could create more panic than what we already have, with the pandemic continues to spread across countries around the globe. I have seen posts like this on Facebook and have never read it because, it is a total nonsense, no Government could do that and pull of such stunt without the world knowing what is really happening due to the information age with the advancement of technology and communications. China did have some issues with South East countries about property boundaries but, I don't think they would go over such lenghts crippling worldwide status.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: March 31, 2020, 12:49:53 PM
It lasts as long as there is internet to support it.
If the future world government decides to close the internet for a week, then bitcoin go to zero.
So "forever" is a bit relative here.
It is impossible that internet will be close for some events because, it is a necessity nowadays: people are now all over it, from the daily tasks they make to the things they think about. As long as the internet is forever, and so is Bitcoin. But, at the least possibility is when the supply of Bitcoin depletes to zero, it would be the end for the coin because, it is only limited in blocks.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a Global Pandemic on: March 31, 2020, 12:21:03 PM
I thought at first that Bitcoin wouls strive more in these kinds of crisis because, people would likely turn more on using it than fiats that are vurnerable in spreading the virus. As the physical markets closed down, so is the standing of Bitcoin. Should have expected it when the price decreased as the virus spreads even more.

But, these days prove to be a good sign for the future of Bitcoin because the price is now stable in a $6,000+ value. Hoping this would contine till the next month up until the halving.
