The TREOS Marketplace Platform is just a use case of our first stable token. A premier product and heart of our community, but still a type of use case. It's 1/5 of TREOS's ecosystem.

Think of it this way... What is the downside of crypto? It's volatile. It's mysterious to learn. It's often manipulated by centralised powers and cartels, especially supposed stable tokens such as Tether.
But then what's the alternative? Fiat? It doesn't even hold its value in these rocky times. It's used to suppress the masses & has no open ledger. Inflation benefits are absorbed by governments or institutions, throwing scraps of interest to the people.

TREOS actually solves all these problems and more. You're living in history-making times:

Decentralised money has all the benefits from both worlds, and none of the disadvantages.
Create a stable token.
Teach people how to use it safely.
Give ownership to the people.
Anchor the price to something that holds its value.
Build it in a way that sustains regulation.
Empower people to earn a living in the ecosystem, being their own bosses & their own banks.
Put everything on a transparent blockchain.

But the project also works on multiple levels. We have avenues with policy makers to change cryptocurrency & financial legislation from the inside out. (Those who are most active in this actually came to us from this same community, applying to join our staff and then going one step further to represent you all properly where it counts.)

And on a side note, one of the conditions of joining TREOS staff is that you must nominate a social enterprise project you believe in, on the ground floor, that you will commit to making a difference to. (My project is to help women learn cryptocurrency. But others nominate to help hungry or struggling families, certain communities, or people in need). Every staff member has their own social project. Three weeks ago, Dan Spiteri paid from his personal pocket to save a man's life, buying him a kidney, paying for the operation, fixing his bills, plane tickets, accommodation & food for both the man & his donor. No-one asked him to do that. He just dared to make a difference. Others in our staff have been helping with earthquake relief efforts ever day for the same reason. Those are the types of people we want building & steering our project.

So where you see just "a platform", we see something a bit more. A community technology connecting those who think alike so they can gather & build together, within an environment and an economy that supports us, providing financial liberation. Everything's got to start somewhere...
