1  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BMF -- The Return of the Original Mining Fund on: September 03, 2013, 07:47:01 AM
Was there a reason you liked "daily dividends"? If you bought enough shares to reinvest a share a day I can see how going back to our contract after the promotion would feel kind of slow and pokey.
Realistically, it doesn't make a difference whether the dividend pays daily or monthly. I honestly simply liked the feel of it being a daily payment more than a monthly one because I can simply see the progress of dividends 'now' as opposed to 'later'. But thank you for the response! It really helped clear up that bit of the contract for me as well.

Why aren't dividends being paid?
Just curious as to what happened to dividends, i'm not sure if I missed something.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CaptchaCoin.com - Get paid bitcoins for solving captchas! on: August 19, 2013, 08:51:22 PM
well i did get my payment Smiley but not worth the time for me personally :>

It would be worth it if most of the captcha's were not impossibly hard to solve because they are case-sensitive. I can never figure out if certain letters are upper or lowercase. I believe this is what accounts for such low success rates, as well as including the possibility that the supplier is not paying us for say 1/6 captchas we solve.

I think they moved it because you offer a "Free Newbie Lotto", it seems like all of the posts moved have to do with offering free bitcoins and raffles and such.
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CaptchaCoin.com - Get paid bitcoins for solving captchas! on: August 16, 2013, 08:18:12 PM
The captchas are not case-sensitive, in all I've tested there I used lower-case only as well as upper-case only and case-sensitive solving...
In all 3 cases the Accuracy is there, very low...

So, I still have winnings (tested only the default blue-captcha which it's always upper-lower case) using lower-case only ...

The conclusion is that you are not actually get paid for what you resolve correctly but for around half of it, and you are misled by the delayed update of balance.

I assume that the website owner is increasing his profit by reselling the captchas, giving away half of what he actually promised, 5 uBTC.

If this is true, people should seriously just not be using this website. It's not worth solving 4+ captchas to only get credited for 1 captcha. Not only does it take a considerable amount of effort compared to other faucets but the site owner is taking our BTC.

Hi guys, here's also my opinion about the site ... while it's a nice simple design which I appreciate, I'm facing the same issue about the Accuracy ... 38.92% after 1k+ resolved it's for me hard, very hard to believe

I have this same issue with this website, so I find it extremely hard to use.
I hate that the captchas are all case sensitive but have many letters such as V, O, P, Z, X, & C which make it extremely difficult to know when they are capitalized or not. Overall I find that my accuracy is extremely low and it takes me on average 3-4 tries to just get 1 solved.
I don't recommend this site to anyone as it ends up just becoming extremely frustrating.

I'd do a captcha, or anything else!

Got any links to companies that do that..?

BTC for videos:
Landofbitcoin.com still hasn't been shutdown.
and
easybitco.in is still working.

edit: and bitcoinget.com is still offering videos.

Folks,

Had to take the site down.  Virool is "no longer accepting websites trading for bitcoins".  But they did pay me what was owed, so at least they're not scammers, even if it's a giant piss off.

Anyone got any ideas?

If you know of any sites that provide instant feedback (a callback to the website) confirming that a user has completed an action, and this action is with $x.xx... Let me know.  I'll make a new bitcoin faucet for everyone.

Anyone...?

Yeah, I noticed. What about a normal faucet or a captcha service? Where you can type in captcha's for BTC? Or what if you say you'll cash out for $? And simply have the option to pull out with bitcoin as well?

It makes me wonder why they are cracking down on bitcoin sites, when there are several others that still offer the virool service & bitcoins.

dont have my credit card on me

Why don't you ask a friend in person to buy it for you? You have 3 days, I'm pretty sure someone would do it.
Not only that but you're asking in the Newbie section.

These scams just get worse and worse.

What do you think of http://dld.bz/BitBillions, membership is free.
It looks like a complete scheme, you can only register if you were referred as well.

Hey - thanks Smiley

What you said is actually true, now that I think about it.  Your "Activity bonus" actually will disappear, if you clear cookies or use another browser.  It IS tracked by your pid/sid.

Perhaps I should do an analysis.  It might be better to be tracked by a bitcoin address instead.

Thoughts?  Is that issue actually affecting people? Is it affecting you or did you just notice it while experimenting?

I've had this same issue as well so I'm just careful not to delete the cookies.

And if 1 Bitcoin goes up in price 10x, then each individual satoshi is worth 10x more isn't it?
I'm not expecting to become a millionaire off of getting 1 million satoshis every 3 days, but it sure would be nice to know that I might be able to use these satoshis to purchase something.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoinslider.com on: August 05, 2013, 08:19:29 PM
Not worth wasting my life watching videos just for a few satoshis in my opinion.

Who knows what a couple satoshis could be worth years from now Smiley.

Does anyone have any confirmed payments from bitcoinslider.com? It says it pays weekly but there is no other information provided.
