1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did people get involved in bitconnect? on: September 06, 2018, 11:19:29 PM
First,  why will people not get involved,  it came like every other cryptocurrency out there with lots  of differences and potentials. However the fact that some people lost alot does not mean alot of people made so much money, sometimes it's one of the risk involved. You have just gotta be positive that you are making the right investment.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: September 05, 2018, 10:19:44 PM
103 bitcoin is alot of money, however, I can  imagine the level of pain the guy is going through right, it would be great if there's a way to recover the DAT file. However, I wish him best of luck.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin & College students . on: September 05, 2018, 10:16:15 PM
Awareness for college students is good, bitcoin is really beneficial and almost seemed like it was made for college students that couldn't afford their needs. It will help them to understand the ideology and concepts behind bitcoin and other altcoins in general.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous! on: September 05, 2018, 10:08:30 PM
The fact remains that everyone started as a newbie, therefore newbies should be given a chance since the knowledge of blockchain didn't drop from the sky. You thereby acquire knowledge to gain knowledge. the fact that the forum is open and everybody is free to air his or her own opinion has given the privilege for them to say their own opinion as well. Giving newbie chance to be part of the community can never be overemphasized.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: September 05, 2018, 09:56:47 PM
Bitcoin has come to stay. I think many people still panic to see the price is down and like what we see, the price is down too deep this time. I think that people can think and learn from this, so in the future, they don't have to be panic if they see the price is down. I am sure that many countries will accept bitcoin so people don't have to afraid to invest their money in the cryptocurrency.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Controlling Bitcoin on: September 04, 2018, 11:19:17 PM
Bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone, not even the government of the day, one of the reason is, bitcoin is a digital currency, not Fiat, It is decentralised and volatile. all these characteristics are not under the control of anyone.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: September 04, 2018, 11:14:03 PM
The fact remains that facebook are doing it business wise since they have ads and promotions which is paid for,  Facebook also has recently launch the marketplace. And since Facebook is the most popular and widely used by people, it is a great tool to spread product like the ICOs. The ICOs, instead of paying Facebook to make their advertisement has resulted into bounties, which I guess is one of the major reasons facebook is banning ICOs considering how much the are likely to make if those adverts comes through them directly.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where does bitcoin end up this year on: September 04, 2018, 11:11:29 PM
Sincerely, for now, I don't think anyone can say where Bitcoin is gonna end this year. It is difficult  to identify the ending point of the year. But it will not disappoint the traders in future. However, people who are investing in bitcoin should be more calculative before making final decision on every investments.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: September 04, 2018, 11:03:17 PM
Bitcoin is precious. You can visit the different trading platforms so you will be able to grasp how the price of bitcoin and even alts were made. In trading the people decide the value how high or low they want to acquire a bitcoin, on the other hand people set a price to sell a bitcoin or buy.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: September 03, 2018, 08:54:57 PM
It hasn't reached its goal yet. But it's still on the process, Bitcoin legitimacy in many of the countries of the world today is still dwindling, while FUDs are still eminents due to their ignorance and negligence towards getting rudiments of what Bitcoin is all about. But I believe that time is actually coming when not just the value of Bitcoin will be concentrated upon. But it's unlimited importance.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive News about Bitcoin on: September 03, 2018, 08:45:48 PM
Putting ones hard earned salary to a volatile currency such as bitcoin is not advisable. Bitcoin is in the process of very good development, therefore now we have to make progress and always provide positive news about bitcoin. It will be very helpful because with that it will happen a belief in Bitcoin and digital currency.
13  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: September 03, 2018, 08:40:44 PM
Truly, Bitcoin aids money laundery especially in developing countries. Bitcoin transaction is kept on blockchain which allowed people to traced it, the transactions are never truly anonymous. Many illegal activities going through bitcoin but the evidence still there, including money laundering. However, my concern about sites offering to mixer bitcoin, so it can't be traced right? But, I don't think those mixer sites will easily accept money laundering. That's why some countries issued regulations about bitcoin and exchanges to prevent any kind of those transaction.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: August 30, 2018, 07:43:49 PM
I sincerely hope developers adopts bitcoin as a payment means, It would be a great development for Playstore and Appstore to accept cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin for payment of their games and other applications. That would make it simple for both developers and clients to make purchases and receive benefits which will be of advantage to both parties.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: August 30, 2018, 06:35:04 PM
This is awesome, however, Bitcoin is the best crypto currency undoubtedly. If we compare the flat money and crypto currency then undoubtedly people will feel easy to do transaction through crypto currency. There was a time when people need to go to bank to transfer money from one place to another. But with emergence of bitcoin, things are getting better.
18  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: August 30, 2018, 02:24:37 PM
This will serve as a lesson to as many as with bad intentions, so many bitcoin enthusiasts say that Roger Ver is one of the main characters who will damage the crypto world because his greed and such misleading actions, I hope they will have success with this lawsuit as it will be a major breakthrough.

Why do you hope that the lawsuit will be successful when the group attempting the lawsuit failed to raise funds to pay for it and abandoned the whole thing?

Because as many as are incharge of the case should know that the outcome of such a big case like this has a very huge impact in the cryptocurrency industry. And as many as are following up with the case will be optimistic about the the outcome which is the striving force.
