2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOOMBERG JUST REPORTED: China bans cryptocurrency exchanges on: September 11, 2017, 08:42:35 AM
I would say that it is just late FUD news, trying to get Bitcoin to 4000USD level or lower to get cheap coins before new ATH which will be here within few weeks, and most of the traders that panic sold their BTC last week will be buying it for much higher price. It is always happenning. New ATH, holds value a bit, correction, quite before storm.. new ATH.. remmember this comment when you will be watching BTC graph soon Cheesy
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 09, 2017, 04:45:06 PM
It will be nice when I'm allowed to join. Still some weeks for me.

Some weeks for you? Where you are Jr Member, not newbie you can join Airdrop already, or am I missing anything? I am carefully watching deeponion forum, just register there apply for airdrop and wait Smiley You should be accepted if you dont have any bad history
4  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: September 09, 2017, 10:36:55 AM
It depends if you want to earn free Bitcoin or invest into it. If you want to earn free Bitcoin, there are a lots of faucets, giveaways etc.. I do not believe in making money by this type because faucets are paying nearly nothing, giveaways are fake.. or chance to win is really small.

To invest in Bitcoin you can for example use Coinbase - it is the best for newcomers to crypto world. You can easily deposit your real money and buy Bitcoin - Ethereum - Litecoin. After purchase just hold you coin and sell later for profit when coin increases its value. I would not recommend Coinbase while they have high fees. Better way to invest into Bitcoin is to use any exchange where you can trade fiat money for BTC. For example Bitstamp (there are lots of them but Bitstamp came first to my mind). Register there, transfer money via your Bank account. Then make easy purchase and hold till moon Cheesy or sell when value is up and buy again when there is dip. Look at the chart now and you will see that Bitcoin had price drop yesterday, you might consider buying it. Smiley
5  Economy / Economics / Re: China Will Kill Bitcoin: A Conspiracy Theory on: September 09, 2017, 10:06:21 AM
My opinion on China killing Bitcoin.. Just spreading FUD to catch more cheap coins for whales a corporations. Saw meme on twitter.. that they have already tried it 15 times..tried to do it 16th time and still worked.. people still can not learn from their mistakes and are selling cheap BTC. Need to learn that they can not make decisions after seeing first post somewhere, need to learn how to select news which are fake and which are possible real one.. time solves everything.. so panic sell is the worst thing you can do evyry time.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin the price $250,000 in the next 10 years on: September 07, 2017, 03:07:55 PM
To reach 250 000 level in 10 years, market needs to remain bullish, Bitcoin should be easily acessible for normal unexperienced people, also it needs to gain some trust with value, price should not drop and rise so aggressively. Should be more connected with irl things, more shops should accept it as payment and 250 000 is real! Smiley
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Iridium ⚡LAUNCH⚡ The Coin For Everyone. No ICO or Founder Reward on: September 05, 2017, 09:52:03 PM

Thanks for the reply. When you unzip the CPU Miner the Iridium.conf has all the information configured. But here are the details of the iridium.conf File.

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=E0rE2plxn4UBh5t
rpcport=9817
port=9816
#(0=off, 1=on) daemon - run in the background as a daemon and accept commands
daemon=1
#(0=off, 1=on) server - accept command line and JSON-RPC commands
server=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

Please let me know if you were able to connect

Thanks
All

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Iridium ⚡LAUNCH⚡ The Coin For Everyone. No ICO or Founder Reward on: September 05, 2017, 09:20:20 PM
How do we configure the miner?

It says   It says failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 9817

Hello,
1.Please make sure that your wallet is fully synced.
2. Make sure the Iridium.conf is in the folder /%appdata%/roaming/iridium
3. When you open the x11 miner folder click on the (miner)

How to open the /%appdata%/roaming/iridium

1-Go to start in windows.
2- In the search box type %appdata% and the roaming folder will come up.
3. click on the folder and then click in the iridium folder.
4. paste the Iridium.conf in the iridium folder.

The open the miner and make sure wallet is running.

Your CPU should start Mining after these steps.

you arent explaining how you want the conf file configured,.,., where are the nodes? you want us to make a blank conf file? I added this to my file and wont connect to RPC port 9817. I have it open on my firewall. You need to be more clear on how to solo mine your coin

rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

Good point Sir, also thinking what to do with .conf file.. want to try mining but there are a lot of unanswered questions  Huh
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: September 05, 2017, 08:50:25 PM
The biggest IRL money are made by gamling.. many people destroyed their lives by gambling, loosing all they have. Who profits? Owner of casino.. I know personally few casino owners and they are making shitloads of money, just by other people playing on their machines.. we all know why  Roll Eyes so looks like you want to run online site.. I would prefer online casino.. good idea anyways. .haha  Grin and as mentioned earlier maybe muslim dating site? hmm I do not know anything about it, but it might be it.
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Solve riddles and win some bitcoins! - CoinGate Challenges, Sept 1, 6 PM UTC on: September 02, 2017, 02:04:41 PM
Can someone explain me what that riddle exactly is? Thanks  Huh Grin
12  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 01, 2017, 06:57:12 AM
Well if you really have a lot of BTC in your wallet, in my opinion the best thing you can do is to save at least 50% of it  for future.. price will go UP ofc Smiley (I would save around 75%)  talking about saving 50%, next 25% I would invest in ICOs.. but really into those that deserve my money.. not every other shitcoin ICO.. rest 25%.. withdraw and enjoy it irl.. the best thing you can do.. by the matter of the time.. that 25% loss will be cleared with your ICO profits + BTC value rising. Smiley
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Record $4,739 Bitcoin Price Lifts Market to $170 Billion on: August 31, 2017, 07:23:37 PM
$4,762 actually  Smiley but as expected masive sellouts came and it quickly drop down to 4720, still pretty good progress this month. Grin
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new bitcoin fork? on: August 31, 2017, 07:11:56 PM
I am against new forks, because they change nothing and become just useless altoin, but yeah, BCC made BTC holders a lot of money, so why not try to do it again and get some free money? lol
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 30, 2017, 10:18:53 PM
Litecoin and Ethereum are stable. You are not risking a lot by investing into these two. Neo coin is on breakout now. Chinese crypto - Chinese community is huge so adaptation could be huge -we will see what Chinese regulators will do. Those 3 are my picks. Already profiting on ETH and LTC last days Smiley
